Cha Cha Coconuts has a fun vibe with good food. Food was yummy, but I will say my Jamaica me Crazy was watered down and bland.plus in a plastic cup. We sat outside in the evening on a sunny day and it was nice. There are huge fans placed outside if it gets too hot. I loved place was colorful and pet friendly. We had out small dog and the waiter brought her a dish of water. People were friendly. I'd go back.

This place is everything you would expect and more!! As soon as we got there, we felt transported to the Caribbean. From the live music playing outside (which was perfect because it wasn't too loud), to the decor. The service was great, everyone was friendly and helpful. This was one of the only meals where we didn't use to-go boxes. The food was all so good, we devoured it all! My kids loved the hamburger, chicken "thumbs" and the fries. I went with the cap't shannen special, and it was so good! Imagine a hollowed-out pineapple half full of shrimp, chicken, pineapple, onions and peppers. It was a flavor overload! If I had to change one thing, I would like the rice and beans separated on my plate, but I loved this dish! O, and the house margaritas were VERY good!! Just an overall very enjoyable restaurant!

Food came out quick and hot. Our group ordered coconut shrimp entree, Chicken Tinga Tostados, Ribs, & Mahi Mahi Sandwich. overall the food was okay. Ribs were dry and the coconut shrimp tasted as tho they were frozen pre breaded. Best part was the service and the quickness of the food. Great location right in St Armands Circle.

Stopped in a bit late for lunch on a Monday. The place was fairly full, but we snagged a table outside. I had the st tropaz fried chicken sandwich. It was cooked to perfection, as were the fries on the side. The sauce, however, lacked flavor as did the fries. Calypso sauce is just mild buffalo sauce apparently--not a very good one at that. Very oily. I wish they'd said that and I might have tried the bbq jerk sauce instead. My mom got the nachos, but as a vegetarian she got them without the black bean chili (contains beef). This dish was a good size, but also lacked flavor. The saving grace was our waitress. She was fantastic! Very friendly, but wish she was a bit more honest when asked about the flavors.

Culinary equivalent of a rom com you didn't expect to enjoy: chaotic, messy, but surprisingly satisfying in the end. The food exceeded expectations, but let's talk about the ambiance reflected in rating: the bathroom looked like it survived spring break '09, and our server was in a constant game of tag with coworkers for help. Refills? Bussing? Emotional support? Thankfully, the kitchen carried the whole operation on its back like an overworked lifeguard. Verdict: Come for the food, stay for the fries, and hold your breath if nature calls.

tropical sangria, excellent hit the spot. I could have drank a pitcher.

Mediocre food and service. Nothing stood out. My Grouper sandwich was basic and for $30 it should have been much better. We were vacationing in Siesta Key and drove through St. Armand circle and stopped by for lunch. Our waitress had a bit of an attitude. I almost felt I was at Whispering Canyons in Disney IYKYK. This place is a skip for me.

Michael, our server, was great! I am gluten free and they had many gluten free options. I got the Jamaican Chicken Salad and it was amazing! Nice chill restaurant that we didn't feel the need to dress up for. Loved it!

The food was absolutely delicious. I had Jamaican jerk chicken tacos and coleslaw and my husband had the 1/2 rack ribs, rice and coleslaw. Our server was so nice and attentive. Love the colors and the coconut monkeys!

Cha Cha Coconuts - A Tropical Bar & Grill which is not your typical tropical bar is absolutely amazing. My family went unexpectedly on Christmas day 2025 and we were pleasantly surprised! You cannot go wrong with the wonderful drinks! I ordered a tropical sangria and drank every last drop. It was so good! Our table started off with chips and queso. I loved the colorful chips and warm, gooey queso! My husband ordered a burger and I got San Juan Nachos. The plantains here are the best I have ever had. My sister in law raved about the gumbo. Our server Heidi was fantastic! She took her time to get to know her customers and made everyone feel right at home. I love Cha Cha Coconuts and next time I am in Sarasota, FL, I will definitely be back because the drinks and food were out of this world and the customer service was the best! I suggest you check out Cha Cha Coconuts, you will not be disappointed!

Everything was very tasty. The pineapple boat was my favorite as the chicken was cooked just how I like it and the flavors mixed in were good. There is plenty of seating indoors and the service was great!

1/2 Cuban and 1/2 Tony salad special. Awesome with 3 Daughter Orange IPA

My wife and I were staying in Sarasota and took the trolley to Cha Cha Coconuts and our server was super awesome and the ambience was classical casual Gulf Bay. I ordered the 1/2 Cuban and the 1/2 Tony Salad. A perfect amount of food and a reasonable price. It was a classic Cuban, pressed bread with all the meats, not the best Cuban I have had, but good. The Tony Salad was amazing. Really liked it and it went well with the local IPA I ordered with it, For a tourist place, I would recommend it. Our server was super cool and checked om us a lot and refilled my wife's Diet Coke often.

This place just feels like vacation! From the outdoor seating to the tropical drinks, alcohol and non, there's something for everyone to sip on and enjoy on their patio. The grouper tacos were phenomenal. Live music brings such a special touch to this vacation spot. Service was good. Make sure you take home a coconut to remember your time here!!

Very nice place…read more The service was good.friendly and knowledgeable server. We sat outside since I t was a beautiful day out. They offer indoor seating which seem a bit more white table cloth. For lunch I had the snapper and shrimp. It was delicious. Will come back for dinner

I haven't been here in a really long time and last time I dined on the patio, but this time inside…read more We arrived 30 minutes early of our reservation in the hopes of having a drink at the bar, but the bar was filled with diners. This seems to be the new trend everywhere we go. Even more disappointing because we couldn't get happy hour prices for our drink because we were seated at a table. Our server was very friendly and quickly took our drink order. The list of cocktails and wines is extensive. I settled on a hibiscus infused cocktail with guava juice and lemonade. For me it was way too sweet. The menu is varied, but definitely geared toward seafood. There are no daily specials as the menu changes daily. I settled on a Caesar salad and the crab cakes. While waiting for my salad we were served salmon pate with some crackers and also fresh warm bread. Both were very good. My salad looked very nice and was good too. We waited a longer than normal time for our entrees. My crab cakes were just ok. Yes, there was tons of crab and little filler, but they were dry and the sauce on the side only helped a bit.
