Obviously this place gets good reviews for a reason. Went on a Tuesday, which meant 50% off tacos! And what a treat - I'm still not sure how, what is supposed to be cheap street food, now cost up to $5-7/taco. In this current economy, it's a hard pill to swallow. But with their Tuesday deal, it made it worth a trip. Ordered the chicken, carnitas, grilled fish and their short rib tacos and it did not disappoint. They each had different delicious flavors, but the favorite would be the short rib. Our server Jack was super nice, and all around very informative and was attentive, without that feeling of him hovering. At the end of our meal, we had the opportunity to try their flan - and although no one at the table normally likes flan, I am happy to report it was absolutely delicious. Oh man, I almost don't want to write a review in order to keep this place more to myself. But here goes: Great food and service, probably one of my favorite steaks lately (have it over the grilled salad and thank me later). Definitely recommend the Cadillac Margarita, it is usually the right balance of sweet, salty and refreshing. Love the salsa options and enjoy sitting to watch the team work in the open kitchen. Lots of indoor/outdoor seating with covered patio with a few fire pits outside. Overall a really good time. I do recommend making a reservation ahead of time. Even on a weeknight, you could wait 15-20 mins sometimes for walk-in tables (not always, but it happens). Usually we get seated almost right away (less than a 5 min wait). Good for kiddos, my toddler loves it and can usually find something she'll eat. Don't miss the glazed salmon, probably the best preparation of the dish outside of a seafood restaurant. read more

Cha Cha's has been my go to happy hour place for almost a year now! The prices and quality of the food are amazing. Who doesn't love a happy hour with yummy food & drinks that are reasonably priced. My favorite days to go are Tuesday & Wednesday. Their tacos are amazing, I don't have a favorite because they are all delicious. For enchilada night I love the seafood enchilada and I ask for it with red sauce instead :) The short rib enchilada is fantastic too if you're feeling extra hungry! I always have an incredible experience here. From the service to the quality of food. They welcome you with delicious fresh chips and salsa. Came for taco Tuesday and it is a great deal for half off all tacos and tequila shots. Service was prompt and our tacos included a side of rice and beans. The tacos come on a soft corn tortilla. We tried every taco on their menu and they were all good but to me none were absolutely amazing. I'm not sure if I would come on another day as otherwise the tacos would be quite pricy. This is a "fancier place" and my example is their nachos: I ordered a nacho appetizer to find out that it came as about 12 single chips with topping and cheese melted on each individual chip. Cha Cha's is by far my favorite restaurant. It's so well run and the staff are so friendly and professional. A great example is Miguel, a most amazing server! He has served us many times and always goes the extra mile to provide superb service making our Cha Cha's experience memorable, fun and delicious. They make the best margaritas hands down. I love so many menu items I don't know what to mention first. A few of my many favorites include: shrimp & crab enchiladas, Mojo tacos, roast chicken, Carnitas, shimp ceviche, mole enchiladas (special occasion menu), clams in an incredible broth, flautas with mango salsa and I could go on and on. I brought my baby and our server was very understanding to put all the dishes far away from him and brought him plastic utensils and a cup with a straw. The carne asada entree was just okay it lacked flavor and the potatoes were a bit harder in texture to what I'm used to. The wood oven carnitas entree was delicious! The marinate of the carnitas and the achiote onions really made the dish it was so flavorful! The rice and beans were pretty basic the rice was a bit dry and both didn't have much flavor. You have an option of flour or corn tortillas. I chose corn and they are very sturdy they held up with whatever I put in them. They give you fresh chips and salsas and I preferred the red salsa over the green one green was just sour and red was flavorful. Their watermelon margarita was so yummy! You can taste the fresh puréed watermelon and this drink was on the sweeter side which I liked. The fresh pineapple drink was also good but had a stronger alcohol taste. read more

Busy and bustling, a tad overpriced, but definitely serves quality food. I love that they have daily specials here! Incentivizes me to come back for Taco Tuesday. I try homestyle Mexican dishes at most new Mexican places to get a feel for how satisfying/fulfilling the food is, especially at "elevated" or fancy Mexican spots. The Cheese Enchiladas (4/5) paid off here. They were gooey and generously-sized, and covered in an absolutely delicious and decadent tomatillo sauce. I wouldn't prefer my enchiladas with black beans, but it's a minor preference. I do wonder if they have pinto/refried beans I can substitute in the future? My waiter also generously gave me a free side of guacamole! However, it was a seriously good 5/5 guacamole so I'm definitely open to ordering a side next time. I've had Paige and she was excellent and she had served me many times was on point every time. Tonight we had Carlos which was beyond outstanding fast , made fun conversation with my group and had great recommendations to my new friends. We went to cha-cha's for the first time and we're very pleased by everything we had for our lunch. The food was quite good. In particular, the short rib taco and the rice were delicious. The guajillo salsa on the steak taco was nice and spicy, though the meat was not quite as good as the braised short rib.. We enjoyed our drinks, the classic and watermelon margaritas. Both were on the rocks, avoiding the syrupy flavors a lot of restaurants rely on for their drinks. I've been here for happy hour before but decided to try it out for brunch for my birthday. Reservations can be made easily on Open Table, if you have a larger party you can just send them an email request. Watermelon Margarita (4/5): went with the larger size for $25, wish it was a little stronger since it's packed with ice but was yummy. Champagne Brunch Special (5/5): it's a little misleading because there's no actual champagne included unless you pay an extra $18 for bottomless mimosas, but it's a great value at $29! You get chips and salsas, a choice of salad, pozole, or fruit, and an entree of your choice. I wanted the steak which was $32 on its own so you definitely get more bang for your buck. The steak was cooked perfectly and was so flavorful, and the pozole was good too. Flan (5/5): they gave me a complimentary flan for my birthday and we all agreed it was the best flan we've ever had. So rich and creamy and delicious, a must order. Overall I had a great experience, the employees were friendly and were also accommodating when I asked to switch from indoor to patio table. I recently checked out cha-cha's for the first time and oh my goodness, I am so mad that I didn't come here earlier. Every employee was so friendly and nice. The service was truly incredible! On this visit, I shared the mushroom tacos with rice and beans and no cheese, to make this fully plant-based and vegan. The tacos were so flavorful and I also loved the beans! I can't wait to come back for better deals on taco Tuesday. The only disappointing part about this visit were the cocktails. We ordered the original margarita and the Cha Cha margarita. The employees hyped up the margaritas a lot so it was a little disappointing that neither were that good. I still will try them again and hopefully will have better luck next time! We decided to try Cha Cha's again - thank you to Cha Cha's management for being receptive to feedback. We were seated again in the patio area and the service was much better than our first time. We were promptly served, and as usual, the food continued to be good. Our server was attentive and although he tried to upsell us on guac and tequila shots pretty enthusiastically, it wasn't too high pressure... :D A mistake was made on the check where we were charged for a more expensive drink than the one we ordered.
