I went here to get my dip nails taken off and the older woman who did it was incredibly aggressive. she kept nicking me with the tool to file off the dip and I had to ask her more than 4 times to be more careful. she never apologized or looked up from what she was doing to acknowledge me. she left my nails very thin on top causing them to be very sensitive and in pain. worst experience here. read more

Don't come here. There are so many spots in the area that are better. I needed a polish change for a photoshoot job. One person started helping me find the natural nude/pink I was asked to get and then stopped to take a different customer without telling me. I thought she went in the back to look for polish. Then, a second person started working on my nails and without asking, started filing my actual nail, thinking I had gels on. I did not. I don't know why she didn't ask. Naturally, she scraped up my nail. A third person offered to help and I had bubbles in the nail polish and uneven coats when I was done. I wish I'd just done it myself at home. One of the best pedicures that I've had (the deluxe pedicure) in a nice calming environment. The nail technician was extremely sweet and patient as she took care of my callused heels (perennially dry but appreciate she managed to take care of them with a loofah as opposed to having to use a razor and grater). Place was relatively clean and staff nice, however, the execution was poor. The lady finished putting a top coat on my toes from ABOVE when she's working on my fingers so she couldn't really see. In any sort of light you can see she missed spots and did a sloppy job- literally looks like a 5 year old put the topcoat on. My gel fingernail polish chipped on Day 3 which I've never had happen, usually gel lasts until my fingernails grow out so much I get it taken off. Won't be back. read more

On the last day of a recent girl's trip, we decided to go three different ways to get our things done. For a friend and I, it was getting our nails done. Ending up here was a luck by chance situation. Not getting an appointment at Eve a nail salon opposite to Cha, we ended up here and they had openings to accomodate us. I wanted to get a French pedicure done and my friend decided to ditch the nail treatment and get a back massage instead. The folks here are so nice. The massage treatment space is inside and honestly I was surprised at how quaint that area is. My pedicure took around 45 minutes and the lady did it so well. My nails looks so pretty now and it only cost me 27$. My friend got a 1hr massage for 50$ and she said it was just what she needed. Coming from Seattle, we were pleased with the pricing. read more

This is my first time at Cha Spa in Montana and I am thrilled! I came in without an appointment and they were able to get me in pretty quickly. They waited patiently for me to pick my colors for my gel manicure pedicure. Things they do differently than any other nail spa: 1. I told Sarah my manicurist I wanted stars for 4th of July. Before she painted in on my hand, she showed me a photo so I knew exactly what it would look like, how awesome is that. 2. They applied the lotion and oil AFTER they finished my gel manicure. Most places put in on first and then wipe it off with acetone. 3. The staff is extremely nice, friendly and funny. I will definitely be back and am so happy about my manicure pedicure! Had a very off-putting experience here after a very mediocre massage. The woman at the front desk tried to pressure me into tipping the masseuse better; calling me "big daddy". A tip is always optional and up to the discretion of the patron. I have grown to really dislike this culture of "tip entitlement"... if the managers and owners of these establishments believe the service providers deserve more: pay them more or integrate a mandatory gratuity. I won't be going back to Cha Spa. There are many better options. read more

I treated my gf to a day of relaxation which included the 60 minute foot massage and a mani/pedi. She loved it but my experience was a little bit less than stellar. I also got all the same services but, since I didn't want polish, the person doing my nails had to be asked several times to do a buff on my nails and never gave me the leg rub which they gave to my gf. When I asked about it, they said she was going to do it, but she never did. I will find another place for our next time. read more

She was genuinely very apologetic and had informed me of what steps she would take to improve service provision in the nail salon department. I appreciate that she took ownership of the issue and the behavior of her staff. Would not recommend coming here for pedicure service. Service was provided by Mei who handled my feet pretty roughly while cutting my nails. When I mentioned to her to do it gently her demeanor was not exactly nice. Her massage was sloppy,!not engaged with what she was doing. Her attitude and the way she speak was not client friendly. When I noticed that one of the nails were not painted right she accused me of messing it up when I took the tissue off my feet. I pointed to her that there was no stain on the tissue. When I gave the feedback to the scheduler I was told that she (Mei) was the manager. I will not be coming here for any nail services. read more

We're staying in Santa Monica and the other spas I looked at, including the spa in our hotel, were booked for the day. When I stumbled across Cha Spa I wasn't sure at first - the front room is foot massages and I wasn't sure if they offered regular massages. When I found they did I still wasn't sure. But I was so sore I decided to take a chance. Lucy was my massage therapist. They do not have individual rooms, instead each massage bed is surrounded by curtains but there are several in one room. The music and lighting were similar to any other fancier spas. But Lucy gave the best massage I have ever had. The right amount of deep tissue - it did not hurt but worked out the soreness. It was remarkable. I felt like a new person when she was finished with the massage. The cost for 90 minutes was $90. At the fancy spa in my hotel, 60 minutes for $200. read more

The massages by Coco are amazing. It took trying a couple different masseuses before I found the right fit. Coco seems to be very in tune with where the knots are in your muscles and the perfect pressure to apply to work them out. Every time I went to see her, the massages got better and better as she got to know me more. Highly recommend! Word of advice if you have never had a Thai massage before, by default they have a lot more pressure than Western massages (I discovered this on my first try in Thailand). So, if you usually like "firm" massages at a typical American spa, then "medium" pressure will probably be good for you for a Thai massage. If you usually like deep tissue massages then a "firm" Thai massage will probably be good for you. I learned this the hard way here when I first asked for a firm massage and then had to backtrack that request to medium! read more

This place is a hit or miss. It's perfect if you're traveling and need a last minute mani pedi at 9 PM the night before your flight, but some of the nail techs are mean and rude, and I once received a manicure so bad I had to call and complain and they redid it for free. Of course, i watched the nail tech that day like a hawk to make sure she did what she was supposed to do. The next time I came in, I used the same tech and she put like 6 layers of gel polish on my nails so they looked fake and ugly. One cool thing about this place is that it's in a bourgeois area and Toni Collette sat next to me while her and her daughter received pedicures, so you never know who you're going to see here. read more

The massage was excellent and ambiance was great; however, the service ended what would otherwise have been a great experience and turned it into one where I will not be going back as a customer and don't recommend that you do either. I wanted to tip them at the end out of kindness and when I saw the guy who massaged me i thanked him and handed him cash. He said in a very sharp and raised voice "what is this?" And I said "a tip, thank you for everything man it was great" and he yells at me saying "this is too little, not enough, and proceeds to raise his voice at me in Mandarin (assumably) and starts yelling at the lady at the desk saying I didn't tip him enough and some other things in what I assume Mandarin. The lady then said that normally people tip them 20%, which is no problem to me. After, I proceeded to give them cash for a 20% tip, but neither of them said thank you and even a word to me. In fact, the guy who massaged me kept frowning at me and then stormed off muttering some words in Mandarin (assumably) and the desk lady didn't say a word, pretended none of that happened, and carried on as if I wasn't there. It was clear that the two of them didn't grow up here but not having English as your first language and being an immigrant doesn't excuse a rude and disrespectful attitude and tone toward someone that paid $80 for your service and who tried to tip you out of kindness when I could've just left and not tipped you at all. Get better at your customer service and learn a thing or two about class and professionalism. read more

I walk past Cha Spa every day with my 5 year old who goes to school just down the street. She's been learning to read, and as part of that process reads all the street/ store signs. She noticed the "foot massage" sign in the window of Cha Spa and immediately asked me what a foot massage was. After I explained, she said she wanted to try one for herself. This continued for a week, and she would remind me daily about the foot massage. We finally had the chance to go in, and after explaining to the very nice manager Diana that she wanted the 30 minute foot massage she was ready to go! We walked back to the massage areas where they have tables separated by curtains. They can open or close the curtains to increase the size of the "room" -- perfect for couples or a girls spa day etc. I wasn't getting a massage myself, but they opened one so I could sit next to my daughter and observe. They offered her water and some candy as they started to pamper her. I wasn't sure what to expect (she wasn't either, being 5!) I'd originally thought she would just last 10 minutes and be too ticklish or wouldn't enjoy the experience but boy was I wrong! She was so pampered and well taken care of she LOVED it. I'm now having to negotiate with my daughter on how often she can go! I'll be buying gift certificates as well for my wife. This was absolutely the worst mani pedi I have ever gotten. My usual nail salon (AZURE NAILS, 1000x better than this place) was closed and I Cha Spa had decent reviews, so I thought I would give it a try. GIANT MISTAKE. The woman doing my pedicure ended up yanking off a piece of my cuticle near the corner of my toenail. It started bleeding and didn't stop for the entirety of my appointment. The pain was seriously nauseating. Because it kept bleeding, she kept applying extreme pressure (ouch) and she used nail glue to help close up the wound. Seems like a great idea, who doesn't put glue in an open wound to close it? A couple hours after my appointment, my toe is throbbing and I am still in pain. Not only did the cut up my toe, they did a horrible job applying polish. My manicure looks awful - there are visible brush strokes and uneven topcoat. I was in so much pain from my toe, I just wanted to get out of there, so I left with hideous nails. I did tell the manager about my bloody toe, she graciously (I hope you can sense the sarcasm here) offered me $10 off of my services. read more

Let me start off by saying that I feel bad for the therapists that work here. I have worked in the industry for over 11 years and have experienced quite a few massages myself, to say the least. I had thrown a rib out a place surfing and was looking for some quick pain relief before i could get into my chiropractor tomorrow. I booked online more than two hours in advance for a spot that was shown as available. When I arrived, my appointment was not showing and the receptionist seemed confused about what I had booked and at what time. Five minutes into my session they switched out the therapist without warning or explanation. (The proper term for a certified technician is a massage therapist and not a masseur or masseuse. Those terms , as they were referred to here has a sexual connotation. ) The second male massage therapist, seemed hurried and flustered starting in the massage. It was decent but took a while to settle in. After the session was over, I asked how much the therapist was getting paid of the $90 as to be able to properly tip them. The receptionist said that could not be disclosed. I asked again and was denied the information. The only option to tip instead of cash was via Venmo. The Venmo they provided was for a Jim Landis. Not the massage therapist. I protested that I wanted the full tip to go to the Massage Therapist as they are the one doing all the work. And it is only legal to give them their full tip. Not to mention, breaks which the therapist was also not given. I had to stand there and make sure the rest of the cash was handed over to the therapist. I will not be back as this place is quite shady and I don't think the people working there or getting paid a decent wage nor do they seem to be getting their complete tipped amounts. read more

We seriously had one of the best experience here! We came here as a bridal party bonding as we are getting married tomorrow and they were awesome. The wait was not long at all and we were even greeted with champagne! They gave us the undivided attention that we wanted and really too care of us! The color selection here looks small at first, but every color that we wanted was here. So you actually didn't have to look far! I can't stress about how delicate they are to your needs. I had a cut on my finger and and they were so delicate that I didn't even feel any pain. They have a lot of specials going on! So make sure you ask! The owner, Jim, was super nice and he really makes you feel like family. The clientele here is pretty cool too! I even started chatting with a lot of them that I didn't know before! I think some of the reviews here are for the massage / spa portion and some are for the mani pedis. This review is for my very poor manicure-pedicure, as well as the treatment and service that came along. I didn't even have polish applied, just buffing, but the crooked, uneven nails, chunky dry skin and cuticles reminded me of a child's attempt. If only they were sweet that way. Instead, I found them to be rude and impatient. I had a special request for my pedicure, which is normally no big deal but was meet with derision and disregard. I had to remind Mae (the aesthetician giving me the pedicure) of my request multiple times, she was so inattentive and uninterested. I normally go to Montana Nails, which was too busy to take me as a walk in, so ventured out to this place. I wont return. read more

I actually had a really crappy experience when I can to get a gel mani and regular pedicure. The reason I chose cha spa was because they are open later than most nail salons. I was really looking forward to a lovely experience. It most certainly was not. I was literally another random person to come through the door. Not a hi how are you, how is your day, or is the water ok. Just on your mark get set go, while all the therapist talked with each other and others just where on there phones.
