The food taste great. I love the chicken tikka masala. It has the right amount of spice for adults like us. We also ordered the butter chicken. It taste great as well and good for kids since it's not spicy at all. The chicken tandoori is great and servings enough for 4 people. Absolutely love this place! My daughter's go to spot when ever she's home from college in LA. She says nothing even comes close to this down south. We all really love the Malai Kofta. I have worse experience in this place , I had ordered full chicken tandoori. I got home and chicken was undercooked I can see blood there . I have tried to call that night but nobody picked up . I have sent email but no answer. I lived in Dublin from last 20 years and tried a lot of food places for dinner and lunch . My advice please check all the take out food before to leave as they do not owner any liability once you leave . I've had better Indian food no doubt. This restaurant is clean and tidy in the inside, plenty of seating, a flat screen TV playing Bollywood stuff for entertainment, etc. Their food was just ok. I thought their Paneer Pakora was a bit chalky tasting and had this dry taste to it. I wasn't a fan of their Papri Chaat either. I did however enjoy their butter chicken and garlic naan. This is always a good choice wherever you go. I'd consider coming back for their lamb curry or lamb curry wrap. We come here occasionally for lunch but never for dinner until today. It was a complete delight! I'm so impress with the service, food portion, and food flavor. Today we got to try their Dinner menu. Saag and Punjabi Lamb Curry was a hit!!! Very flavorful and not soooo greasy. I've passed Chaat Cafe many times throughout the months and finally decided to order to go my lunch. I was looking for a place that offers halal chicken and when I called in I was pretty hyped that they did. I ordered the spicy chicken wrap and it was honestly nothing great just flavorless. I don't know why they use a thick naan because all the filling gets lost when you take a bite out of a thick bread. Location is great, clean restaurant, and has your food ready sooner then expected but for next time I'll just order samosa chaat. read more

However today I visited almost after a year and ordered fish pakora and paneer naan, fish pakora was all burnt ( not replaced nor refunded) and paneer naan was too salty ( which was replaced when asked). Just adding a review of another item: Papri Chaat. It was super good. As an appetizer it was super satisfying, creamy, sweet but savory too. It was a pile of chips with garbanzo brans served with tamarind chutney all covered by fresh yogurt. The chips made the dish slightly savory while at the same time the tamarind chutney added a sweet note. I would say this is a higher-quality fast food type food that comes with a fast food price. I especially like their Na'an and Saag Paneer. The Na'an is served fresh. I came here for lunch after a quick stop at Dick's Sporting Goods (yep, I'm moving up to the 45 lb kettlebell). Its probably the cleanest Indian restaurant I've been to! Bright colors and Bollywood video and music to boot. I got the Spicy Seekh Kabob (ground lamb) combo with garlic naan along with a hot chai tea. Portions were huge for the price (just above $10 with Yelp check-in discount). The lamb was soft and very seasoned - it was more salty than spicy however. The basmati white rice portion was gigantic, and it was a bit dry. The bowl of spicy Dal was excellent - it was meant to be poured over the rice. Garlic Naan was also exceptional - crispy, and piping hot. It was like Gilroy all over again! Chai Tea was pretty good - I actually like it unsweetened, in order to enjoy the hint of cinnamon and tea more. Food I'd rate 3.5 stars but rounding up to 4 for friendly service and super cleanliness. read more

My funky description of this dish would be a cold, deconstructed samosa. You have the fried bits covered by lentils, garbanzo beans and potatoes topped with a yogurt sauce. It's delicious! -Chicken Wrap: We actually wanted paneer but they were out (sigh). This wrap was pleasantly full of chicken and was made even better by the green sauce they offer on the side (boo to the brown sauce). The flavors and prices are on point, but one area that needs work is the service. How about you stop tapping away on your phone and start smiling? It's not that hard, I promise. This place was amazing. We were all ready to eat at Panera and walked by this place. The place was packed at around 2pm on a Saturday. We couldn't believe it, people kept coming and going non-stop. The decor is nice. It reminds you of a fast food restaurant, with style. Most Indian restaurants we've been to are set up to be rearranged for a banquet. It was odd to be in one that is part of an up and coming shopping center and centered on quick short meals on the run. Soon as you enter there is a huge archway, but it's filled in. It's a bit odd, but there is probably some great symbolism to it. The place has an extensive menu. You get in line to order and take a number and they deliver the food. You are on your own for table settings. We ordered the Butter Chicken meal. Delicious. I am so glad I got the meal. It came with so many extras. I wish there was one closer to me. I have mixed feelings about this place because the food was great but the service was iffy for me. I came here this last weekend on my way up to Sacramento and felt like grabbing lunch here. I ordered the papri chaat, Desiree chicken wrap, and the chicken wrap. THE CONS: we have to repeat our order several times and he still wrote it down wrong. When we finally did get our food half of it was missing, literally one whole wrap. Then on our way out the door we realized they never gave us our mango lassis or sauces so we had to go back for that. And on the drive up to sac we realized hay the menu came with sides for each wrap (ex. Cucumber) and we never received those in the bag either. We didn't even get an apology for all the mistakes made in the 15 minutes we were there. (This was a to-go order by the way) Very disappointed in the service but love the food so I'm willing to give this place another try when I'm in the area again. The papri chaat was my favorite!!! It was the perfect combination of sweet and salty which is what I constantly crave in every meal. There was a lot more in one serving than I expected too. It was topped with cream and a sweet chutney, but it was really flavorful because of the chickpeas, and onions I believe. Like I said, it was my favorite and a must try. I ordered the Desi chicken wrap and my boyfriend got the regular chicken wrap, the only difference is Desi is spicier so keep that in mind when placing your order. I love spicy and I found this was pretty hot but still let you savor the flavor of the chicken and sauces. I CANNOT EXPLAIN TO YOU HOW HUGE THESE WRAPS WERE.
