Great heart breakfast haunt. P-Town has so many options for eatery's if you are walking along Commercial. Driving out of town, this lovely place has a parking lot! Great for those who are not as ambulatory.

Bacon cheddar omelette was full of bacon and cheddar. Coffee was strong and fresh. Wait time was bearable and I enjoyed talking to the others who were also waiting outside for a table. Service was efficient and friendly. It was a nice find on the way out of town. I would definitely eat here again.

This place has a mixed review from our friends...some of them love the breakfast and brunch here, some of them call it a greasy spoon. I thought the food was good and the service was on par. We got the blueberry pancakes and the burger and both were done very well. A good choice in the area for a filling meal.

Popular breakfast spot on Shank Painter road down by the grocery store. They have drinks and great breakfast options. Got the breakfast sandwich with home fries. It was delicious. They also have Mexican options on their menu. Friendly service. There usually is a wait.

The food here is really really great. Each individual component is of the highest quality so when they put it all together with their cooking skills and presentation the results are really, really pleasing. The huevos rancheros are excellent as ia the French toast. The Cobb salad is out of this world - and the ranch fessing mind blowing. There's always enough to take some home too! Check the hours so you won't be disappointed!

Great food and service; very low key and it reminds me of a diner where everyone knows each other.

ordered the 2 egg breakfast.... didn't receive any protein with my meal. 20 bucks for toast eggs and potatoes that I could've made at home.

But our server , Mathias- was "incredible " he gives us tips on what was good to eat, the deals to get and basically took great care of us. I had your basic Fish & chip, but not basic by any means. Rather a large piece of lightly battered fish with a great helping of fries, and I do believe the tartar sauce was homemade! My husband had the Stuffed Haddock, shrimp & scallop stuffing - to die for! Ambiance was the typical "by the sea" nevertheless packed them in! There is one thing tho I must criticize on... never , never vacuum in a space where people are eating! No no no! IDC if its a hypoallergenic vacuum- its is just not what you do! Its gross! Love the place, love Mathias- and we will be back next year to eat!

I can't believe I've never reviewed this place before because my friends and I eat here every year…read moreduring our annual P-Town trip. We've never had a bad meal here....everything is always great; food, service, drinks are all terrific. Usually, I'll have one of their signature cocktails (although this year I just had ginger ale) and cheesy garlic bread is always a must. I have been in a rut the past few years ordering the chicken parm but it's soooo good and also the portion is gigantic so I take half of it home for lunch the next day. The desserts are always a treat. This year we had the chocolate bomb, key lime pie and turtle cheesecake. They were all winners but the turtle cheesecake took the gold medal. Just writing my review, it makes me want to go back so I'll be looking forward to my next visit.

It honestly felt like an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. It took over 45 minutes for our breakfast to arrive, and during that time, no one came by to refill our coffee or water. The service felt aloof and inattentive, and management never came over to acknowledge the excessive wait or address the situation. The only explanation we received was that they were busy. We certainly understand that restaurants can get overwhelmed during peak times, but being busy shouldn't mean that basic service and communication disappear. Overall, it was a very disappointing breakfast experience.

Next, we shared the Cape Cod Fish Fry and it was perfect. The fish was fresh and the batter was crisp but not greasy. It was possibly the best mixed fried seafood plate I've had so far. EXTREMELY DISTURBING EXPERIENCE WITH THE WAITER!…read more This took place around 9:00 PM on Thursday, June 4. Our group consisted of three couples dining together. At the end of the meal, we asked if the bill could be split into thirds. Our waiter, Martin P., told us that he would not split the check and instead instructed us to write down exactly what each person ordered so that he could charge us separately. Although no other restaurant we visited in Provincetown required us to do this, we followed his instructions and listed our individual items. When Martin returned, he was visibly upset and stated that our payments were approximately $70 short. There was confusion because our group was trying to determine who had already paid, who had not, and whether something had been missed in the calculations. I even asked whether we were expected to calculate individual tax amounts ourselves, as no one knew what tax would be for each separate charge. Rather than calmly helping us resolve the discrepancy, Martin began yelling at our group. At one point he stated, "If I don't get $70, I am going to charge one of the credit cards that I have." This immediately concerned us. We were not refusing to pay. We were actively trying to understand where the discrepancy occurred and make sure the restaurant received the full amount owed. To resolve the issue, one of my friends and I went with Martin into a back room to review the charges. After reviewing everything, my friend agreed to pay the remaining balance immediately. The payment was processed and the bill was fully paid. At that point I was trying to calm the situation and bring it to a close. Instead, Martin became even more agitated and began yelling profanities at us. He shouted, "Get the f*** out of my restaurant! It's people like you why we don't split checks! You all need to get the f*** out now!" Other people started noticing this go down. We were stunned. The bill had been paid. Nobody was attempting to leave without paying. We were simply trying to resolve a billing issue after following the waiter's instructions. As we were leaving, my wife later told me that Martin placed his HAND ON HER BACK and guided her toward the exit. While it was not forceful, it felt unnecessary and added to an already hostile and intimidating experience. What happened next is why I ultimately decided to write this review. A few days later, while walking through Provincetown looking for a place to have lunch, our group passed The Mayflower Food & Drink and noticed Martin working there. When he saw us, he deliberately tapped on the glass to get our attention. After making eye contact, he made a hand gesture across his neck and pointed for us to leave and keep walking. The original incident had already ended. The bill had been paid. Yet days later he still felt the need to single out our group and signal that we were unwelcome. Had this simply been confusion over a split check, I would not be writing this review. Billing mistakes happen. What I cannot overlook is being threatened with unauthorized credit card charges, being screamed at with profanity while attempting to resolve the issue, being ordered out after the bill had been paid, Martin touching my wife, and then encountering the same employee days later making a gesture directed at our group from another restaurant. This experience was troubling enough that I believe others should be aware of it.

A Night at Lobster Pot: Provincetown's Crown Jewel…read more Our evening at Lobster Pot in Provincetown was nothing short of extraordinary--a culinary experience that has set a new standard for every meal that follows. We began with their lobster ravioli baked with breadcrumbs, and I can say without hesitation that it was the finest version of this dish we've ever encountered. The pasta was delicate yet substantial, the lobster filling impossibly sweet and tender, and that golden breadcrumb crust provided the perfect textural contrast. It was a masterclass in simplicity and execution. For my main course, I ordered their Shellfish Algarve--a stunning composition of shrimp, mussels, littleneck clams, fish, calamari, and pasta, all steamed together in a fragrant broth of olive oil, butter, garlic, bay leaf, and just a whisper of crushed red pepper. Every element sang in perfect harmony. The broth was silky and elegant, each protein cooked to precise doneness, and the sesame and soy notes I detected added an unexpected depth that elevated the entire dish. It was, quite simply, the best dish I've ever had. What sets Lobster Pot apart is an unwavering commitment to quality that extends to every plate that leaves the kitchen. It's now, without question, my favorite seafood restaurant of all time.
