We visited Chachi's today and as soon as we arrived we were greeted by the lovely staff! It was our first time and we decided to go with the tuna melt and ham torta! Both sandwiches are ones you can make at home BUT nothing like buying a really good sandwich (also wouldn't be nearly as good if u made it at home in comparison lol) It is also reasonably priced for the big portion size! I was unable to finish mine lol. 5/5 would come again! I'm looking forward to trying the pastrami sandwich next time! We also got a pup cup that our puppy greatly enjoyed (licked clean literally). All around a great place to pick up or enjoy people watching in the red tables out front.

In San Pedro, at the corner of 28th Street & Pacific Ave, sits a building housing a convenience store and laundromat. Chachi's sublets space inside the bodega. I have to admit: first impressions did not cause me to expect much. The food prep area is reminiscent of a pop-up. And the menu lineup is limited: turkey; torpedo; ham torta; veggie; pastrami; tuna melt; and grilled cheese. I ordered the torpedo, expecting a cold sandwich. To my surprise, they put the sandwich in a panini press to warm the bread. And when I tasted the combination of ingredients, and their proprietary spread, it turned out to be a really tasty sandwich. The signage says that they've been in business since 2024; and they're preparing to open their first standalone sandwich shop. (If you're a local, it will be in the same shopping center as the Vons grocery @ S Western Ave x W 25th St.) When this happens, I can see myself being a regular.

This is a low-key sandwich spot inside a liquor store. They only have maybe seven sandwiches on the menu, but you can turn them into salads--okay, cool, healthy, simple. I tried the ham torta and changed the meat to turkey. They didn't even budge! The service was really great, and they even had great recommendations. If you're looking for a classic, easy sandwich that's quick and delicious, then this is the place for you. It was so good I had to come back the next week to bring my husband! Seating? They have 3 little table with chairs outside. Also, since it's in a liquor store, you can get whatever drink you want. Would I go back here? Already did--and yes, again.

Been here for a few times now and I've tried different sandwiches. I really like the pastrami, turkey, and grilled cheese sandwiches. The tuna melt could be better. In my opinion, a great tuna melt needs crisp, toasted bread, perfectly melted cheese, and the tuna salad portion at a temperature such that when you bite into it the contrast of the cold tuna salad and the hot cheese isn't too significant. In addition, the tuna salad shouldn't have a lot of liquid or else it'll make the sandwich soggy, which Chachi's version was. In any case, I like their other sandwiches enough to keep coming. Order ahead online if you don't want to wait since the sandwiches are made to order!

Pastrami sandwich recommended by Marie was delicious! I highly recommend giving it a try!

Cute little sandwich counter tucked inside beach city market, a neighborhood liquor store. The idea of this was brilliant and I'm so happy to see the business thriving. I've been by many times but have not decided to buy until today. I love the convenience of it. Want a quick order just pick an item out of their fridge in front and scan the QR code to pay. Or order a fresh sandwich and it's handed to you down a sandwich slide lol! There are these cute red chairs set outside to eat in-front of the store and the sandwich shop is right to your left when entering the market. When walking up to the counter I was greeting kindly. I did not have much to say as I already made up my mind on what I wanted to order. The menu here is not complex but all of the sandwiches looked good so hard to choose from. It was a torpedo or ham torta, I went with a torpedo! Which is usually what I like to order from other sandwich shops around town. It seems that many of the sandwiches around town are your typical deli style sandwiches, in a dominant italian cuisine town the torpedo is quite common... and they're all competing against each other. The thing I really liked about Chachi's is the bread. Oh the bread! In my opinion it's all about the bread. This makes the entire sandwich. Instead of your typical roll which can either be fresh and soft, or hard and crunchy, warm or cold, the bread they use here is like their little twist. Ciabatta for the win. I appreciate uniqueness. I love the idea of this place, the customer service and mostly the food. Perfect for picnics, on your way to the coast, or party packs. I wish them well and happy to see they will be expanding to western and 25th. Definitely recommend and will be back to explore more of the menu.

Chachis has yummy deli sandwiches. It's located inside a small corner store. The servers were friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked in. I had the turkey which had a special spread with cranberries & walnuts. My husband had the Torpedo which he also enjoyed. The sandwiches are heated, so the cheese melts and outside bread is crunchy, inside is still soft. Sandwiches are good size, so I saved half for lunch the next day. While they were prepping our sandwich, we checked out the store for chips and drinks. The store had a really good selection. There are a couple of tables out front. Plenty of street parking and a small lot.

Chachi's is such a vibe! My coworker found it as we were looking to grab some lunch. Chachi's is located inside a market store, right at the entrance! The girls were so helpful. Especially the girl at the register. It was our first time so she explained the menu and gave some sandwich recommendations. I got the torta which was huge and delicious! The cashier also mentioned they have cool events sometimes. There are only a couple of tables outside, but luckily the cashier suggested a few cute spots around the area to enjoy our sandwich with a view. Oh, I almost forgot, once your sandwich is ready, it gets delivered through a sandwich slide. Looking forward to going back!

I really like the grilled cheese! Yup. It takes one of those and I'm good! I like this little spot but I get the expansion. I hope they keep this little spot for the locals. Cheese and spread on point! Grilled to flat perfection! Service is great and friendly.

Good value, the sandwiches are fairly priced. The shop is inside a grocery market but there are a few tables to sit outside and eat at. We got the torpedo and the pastrami and both were good. We added onions to both which I highly suggest. Minus one star because the sandwich's were both missing something, and the pastrami would go better with a different type of cheese instead of American.

Super Friendly service. I had the honor of meeting the owner Reese. I will definitely be back to try the other sandwiches. I had the torta de jamón. 10/10

Ordered the torpedo sandwich and wow blows every place in pedro out the water by a long shot on every front! Bread is the star of the show but the meats are so flavorful i was amazed iv never had deli meats that tasted that good before. I stopped in a few months ago with my wife. We will never go back. Aside from ridiculously slow service, we were very disappointed the sandwiches. Mine was pretty bad, she threw hers out in the trash. I'm really surprised to see 5 stars here. It makes me question validity of yelp ratings. There are a lot of very good sandwich shops in town. It's going to be hot today going to get my favorite tuna, fish sandwich and eat by the nearby beach where it's nice and cool. location is inside Beach city market which also has a great selection of groceries. Basics or anything you need to go to the beach, including fishing poles and bait. I have been coming to Chachi since it opened, and it just keeps getting better. I always have the turkey sandwich was incredible. Reese and Chachi are both wonderful people, as well as their staff, who are going to franchise, which I believe will be a great business for someone based on the response Chachi has received so far. I sent a letter to Guy Fieri on his site and recommended the restaurant, and told him also that it was featured on ABC the sandwiches rock. read more

All their sandwiches are great! Each one has a unique flavor, to meet whatever mood you're in. Ate their veggie sammie & grilled cheese through my pregnancy, we ordered their sammies for pickup all through our maternity/paternity leave for quick lunches. Been wanting to try Chachi's for the longest time because I follow them on instagram and today was the day! Located in a liquor store with ample parking outside. The vibe was cool and fun! Cashier was friendly and offered a loyalty card. Order 9 subs and get the 10th free! Down! Sandwiches took about 10-15 mins which is perfect! Considering we were not the only ones ordering. While waiting we got some chips and drinks at the liquor store. Sandwiches came down a slide. That's the fun! Taste wise I say they were delicious. Large sandwiches so definitely getting your moneys worth and they pack it with ingredients no skimping. Can't wait to come back! read more

Stopped there on an absolute whim headed to the aquarium with my family. 10000/10 would recommend this location. Met the owner and let me say her passion for her business and her love of food reflects in these sandwiches. Bought the torpedo and the turkey. Unreal sandwiches phone didn't eat first. 1st time visiting a week ago. My wife found info on Yelp so off we went. We were greeted by a young lady whom I think she said her name was Reese. She greeted us as if we were long time friends and gave us the 411 on the menu. My wife ordered the turkey sandwich and I ordered the pastrami. Reese suggested that we try a cucumber salad that is made at the location. My wife ordered it. My wife enjoyed her sandwich and the salad, she suggested that perhaps they should add a little jalapeño to the salad to give it a little kick. My pastrami was not what I am acostumed to. This pastrami was sliced like a slice of ham, I was surprised of how flavorful it was. The bread was also nice and toasty and the sandwich was a family size portion. We were very satisfied with the whole experience especially with Reese's service. Unfortunately we did not take photos of our meal. read more

The sandwich was really good. I'm just not a fan of the typical bread that people in San Pedro use at all the sandwich shops. Overall quality of sandwich was very good. I would suggest maybe offering a different bread as well as the bread you have. Much better than busy bee for sure.! read more

Hence I usually get it with the freshly baked baguette because it can take it more. The meatballs are hearty and meaty. A bit messy to eat but I like to add peperoncinos in it because the tang balances out the flavors. I love it with salt and by chips too. Anyway the staff is usually pretty friendly. It's a little market too so you can get some prepared meals in the refrigerated section and some other Italian themed groceries. Yes I'll be back.

This review will be for my visit on 6/28 for a late breakfast. We ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito and it was soooo good. It's my second time getting it because it's just that good. The first time I had it I knew it was authentiy made it because it tasted like my mom's homemade salsas! This time I made sure to ask the sweet lady who brought out our food if she makes it, to which she shared that they did make it fresh! This visit we also got to meet the owner who was also very kind and welcoming to us. I would 100% recommend to everyone local or visitor to check it out for yourself! Not only is the food amazing but the atmosphere is perfect place to people watch, read a book, study, or meet a friend (and if you're lucky get to pet cute adoptable dogs) Lastly the Oreo cheesecake is freaking good!!!!

The store is tucked away in a residential neighborhood and is SO cute! There's plenty of seating and lots of fun little knickknacks to browse while you wait. Not only do they have snacks and drinks, but they also carry handcrafted local goods, which makes the space feel extra special. I picked up a few snacks for myself and my pup (yes, they even have a pet section with an amazing variety of homemade treats!). The employee working was kind and offered suggestions on which pastry to try. He was warm, professional, and gave off a genuinely neighborly vibe. I'll definitely be back. If only you were a little closer! Such a charming local gem.

Breading was light and crispy, would absolutely come back for these. Pandan Waffle - 9/10: LOVED this. Mochi like texture, could taste the pandan and the condensed milk is PERFECT. An amazing sweet treat. Banana Cloud Latte - 8/10: Strong! Very good. Loved the dried banana topping and the cinnamon. Will absolutely come back, will definitely buy some merch next time I'm there too!

The short rib also melts in your mouth, and we were sad when it was all gone. Cannot wait to have another takeout night with Piccini's again.

I'm a bit more of a fan of the gooier coffee cake and this was a bit cake ear but still it was enjoyable. I also tried the spicy turkey chili and thought that was a 10 out of 10. I absolutely loved the amount of spice and it had some really great flavors. For my breakfast, I chose one of the specials, which was the Carne Asada Chilaquiles and thought it was terrific. The server did everything you would expect from a server, nothing more, nothing less. One note about this establishment before I conclude this review. They prefer cash. If you pay with a card, they will charge you an extra $1.50.
