I wanna give this place 20 stars and this place definitely deserves all of the Michelin stars as well. I took a date here and me and her both agree that this was probably the best meal we've ever had GENUINELY. We had the ceviche scallops and sashimi with a bottle of one of the white wines and the ube cheesecake for dessert . With how elegant everything is from fresh and complex but complimentary ingredients to the plating and ambiance this would cost an arm and a leg anywhere else but this place is affordable and more than fair in their pricing. The ambience and service is so welcoming, friendly, and comfy while also remaining chic as hell. I wanna attempt to try everything I can here. So yes I'll be back as often as possible and you should definitely check this place out before it becomes packed as hell one day soon.

Such a cute, quaint place! Good food, good vibes, good company. We ordered Piccadillo empanadas, BBQ oysters, sloppy joe, and the shabu-shabu beef dip. Everything I tried was phenomenal! The decor is super cute and nothing is matchy-matchy - the entire place has character. Friendly service. Dope atmosphere! I'll be sure to visit the next time I'm in the area.

I have been to Neon Sun a few times and it never disappoints. I stopped in one weekend and was surprised to learn they had just launched a brunch menu. I had the Irish omlette which was amazingly light and creamy, along with the Watermelon Gazpacho, what a smart invention. Always good food and a welcoming vibe here, so I was glad I stopped in. I'll be back.

Very unique space. The food is good and was a mix of different cuisines. Our waitress Sloane was super sweet and attentive.

Everything we tried was amazing - Peruvian scallops, asparagus salad, wagyu filet, ube cheesecake. Well flavored and gorgeous. Small found family vibe. Enjoyed the whole experience.

Holy wowza! This place was an absolute stunner of a 10 out of 10. The ambience and just the layout of this place is super comfortable and a very intimate dining experience. It has this very Mystic/spiritual and hippie vibe. We had spent a good two hours here it's a very laid-back experience where you can enjoy and speak with your group. You're not rushed to order, and the waitress that we had was serving the entire restaurant there's not that many spots to sit as it is a smaller location, but it's very much worth the wait if you do have to wait. There's about five tables. And like a small bar type area as well. But our waitress really handled everything so well explaining the menu very knowledgeable about everything very considerate about food, allergies. Because I'm allergic to egg to the point where I need an EpiPen. And for the first time in ages, I was actually able to eat ice cream because it didn't have egg in it. I got the albacore sashimi, my group, and I had gotten some barbecue oysters and some mussels. Everything was so fresh and stunning. Not only aesthetically pleasing, but, absolutely cooked to perfection nothing was rubbery, nothing was overcooked. I didn't even get a picture of the ice cream because we dug in immediately but they have a PB&J ice cream and a plantain Brulé ice cream. And out of both of them the plantain Brûlée was the most amazing ice cream I've ever had in my life and I said "oh my fucking God." I will definitely be back here if I'm visiting San Pedro because I'm visiting from Washington and my sister lives in San Pedro. But this might be a reason to visit more. Also prices for the quality of the food that you're getting and just the overall experience, and ambience, you really do get the most bang for your buck. I will be dreaming of that sashimi for a while, as well as that ice cream. Thank you so much!

I wanted something tasty but unlike anything I can grab and dash home. I wanted something light but filling. Found this gem in my neck of the woods. Everything was amazing. Especially those that served me. Started with the mussels and oysters. Best I've ever had. Plump mussels and flavorful oysters started things right. Went with the couscous for the main dish. First time having pearl pasta. Instant fan. Shrimp was delicious and the asparagus and prosciutto were excellent additions. Alas there was something at fault. And I was to blame. I should've gotten a dozen of the oysters and mussels. Coming back next week for more. I encourage you to do the same.

Ceviche. Fish chips are dangerously good!

This place is awesome They encourage guest to take time enjoy the tapa style meal. Each table features various style of seating and dinner ware yet coherently ties together. The service and plating pacing is right on the dot. Great BYOB hosting style. Each dish is well crafted in taste and presentation. Highly recommend!

Wife and I visited on Friday at around 1 ish and these are a few new things we found: 1) Parking is a $20 flat rate, credit card only accepted. The lot seemed small compared to the old location. 2) There's no fish market, there's 1 window where you order your food and drinks off a menu and it gets delivered to your table. Before you order though, get a table and check the number on it 'cause they'll ask you for it once you place your order. 3) Bathrooms are bigger and cleaner lol 4) Right next to the boardwalk, real nice to watch cruise ships and naval boats passing by. Food was still delicious, a little pricey but if you are a Costco member, I recommend you get the InKind gift cards, they take them and that's a huge saver. There were a few things that really stood out and made me very happy that I gave it a try. First, the red sauce in the salsa bar: very legit! Spicy, but very flavorful! I also tried the green chili/tomatillo sauce, which was also very good and good counter point to the unctuous marinated chicken. And they don't go cheap on the meat. Secondly, the corn tortillas were made in house and were hefty! Very tasty and held together where other tacos need two of the thin store-bought variety to have a hope to stand together. Very good. If I had the tiniest critique, I would say to add a tiny bit more salt to them, but I have a theory why they may go scant on it, and I respect that. Third, the beans and rice: The beans were very simple, but simply good. It takes a lot of guts to make and serve simple pinto beans boiled with salt. I know! What a concept! But simply delicious, and made to complement the rest of the food, and not distract from it. It takes a lot of confidence in my opinion for a restaurant to have such faith in their food to leave some that should be simple, simple. The same was true for the rice: simply well made, not over done with a ton of ingredients. It was well made: the individual grains didn't stick together. And it was unctuous without being overbearing. If I had to guess, I would say that they used broth and chicken fat. Simply good, and a complement to rest of the meal. Now to my theory. It makes sense that the masa would be light on the salt because it is the same masa that they use for pupusas, and the filling for pupusas (I just like that word) is savory and well seasoned. I'll let you now next time I got back and try the PUPUSAS! ;)
