    Burritos
    M O.

Grabbed breakfast from here. Although, the lady up front was nice, the food was subpar. Ordered what she told me was a dozen green chile and cheese tamales for $10, then she said no, it was 12 for $20. What she gave me was 10 tamales for $20. She said they did not have enough green chile and cheese and put 2 pork and chile ones in so got 8 green chile and cheese and 2 pork and chile for $20. Tasted it when I got home and was not wowwed. Ordered 2 bacon breakfast burritos which on their menu said $6 each. They had strips of potatoes, egg, bacon, some shredded cheese but super oily. Because I did not pay cash she said it is more expensive for CC so it was $36. If you pay cash, I guess they will discount 4%. It definately is a mom and pop shop with very minimal tables and chairs and orange walls. Behind mechanic shop, next to Public Storage by the Neighborhood WM off Smoky Hill and Buckley.

Food is so amazing. Everything is so cheap as well. This is my staple place and the service is amazing as well. They're very kind and have no problem explaining the menu. The ambiance is very traditional, the place is clean, there's no background music, typically a more quiet place. There are tables to sit, and two bathrooms as well.

I needed tacos for lunch and found this place close to home. Amazing Carne Asada tacos - great tasting, freshly made, with good salsas and heat. A must stop!

I love this place! This is an authentic, hole-in-the-wall family-run Mexican restaurant. The tacos I got were comparable to the ones I have in LA. Delicious, fresh, and flavorful meat and salsa. We got the asada, chorizo, and adobada tacos.

First time trying their burritos and man they were delicious! Even my mom who isn't a fan of Mexican food, has a change of heart. She wants to order more food from this joint. Definitely our new favorite place to eat. Friendly people too!

The food was good, and I like the small family owned feel. The only "knock" is that it has odd hours of operation.

I'm partial to the Enchiladas, Chile Relleno, Taquitos with consumè, and the chilaquiles. If you ask for it, they'll bring the heat unlike many places out here. The service is always fantastic. Usually Monica takes care of me when I come in during the week and she's always cool to chat with and takes care of my order. The service as a whole is really good here.

For two people, ordered a set of 3 tacos (2x barbacoa and carnitas) and then another 3 tacos (asada, carnitas, and pastor), birria egg rolls, and a bean, cheese, and rice burrito. Not a big deal but they put all the tacos in one box and I was able to differentiate which 3 tacos that I ordered. This place is super stingy with salsa. They gave me 2 tiny containers for salsa and then when I asked for a couple more, the lady said she could only give me two more. :( Excited to try the food and started off great with a simple bean, cheese, and rice burrito but outside of that everything else was very meh. Not sure how but all the meats were so dry, I ordered braised/slow cooked meats (barbacoa and carnitas). Asada and pastor were okay as well. Everything lacked seasoning and the salsa didn't add much to the tacos either. Birria tacos were also dry and consommé needed salt to be added. Value was not bad at $37.64. Tacos were about $3-3.20 per

We waited an unreasonable amount of time for almost everything, and the staff seemed completely inattentive and disorganized the entire visit. It felt like customers were more of an inconvenience than welcomed guests. Trying to get simple things like drinks (we never got to order refills), check-ins, or updates on food took way too long, and communication from the staff was poor throughout the experience. Even when issues were brought up, there was urgency and concern but then forgotten the moment they walked away from the table. What made the experience even worse was that by the end of the meal, the service had become so bad that we were literally trying to pay just so we could leave, and even the manager could not seem to bring themselves to come process the payment in a timely manner. We sat there waiting just to give them our money and leave. Finally a different manager told us we can just leave no need to pay. Unfortunately, the bad service completely overshadowed the meal and made the overall experience frustrating enough that we would not return. This was our second time giving them a chance to make it up bc the first time wasnt any better :(

In the old Landry's building converted on the interior to a chic yet comfortable atmosphere. There are cozy-up areas with sofas for a spectacular chill happy hour event. The specialty cocktails left me wanting to come back soon to try more of them. They even have a delightful Pino Grigio from Italy which Mom enjoyed! The loaded nachos are not to be missed and the desert mini doughnuts are a fan fav and were so delish! The children's meal came with little delicious churros for her desert. My folks have the tiger prawn tacos and at 92 years old- ate every bit and loved them! My DIL had the burrito and I love the way they cut it in pieces to serve and make it manageable. I had the Market Salad with yummy grilled chicken which was the most wonderful combination of flavors including fresh delicious fruit. I'll definitely be back when I'm in town from Phoenix!

Ok, back to what you care about, their Happy Hour. For two people we got an Americano Taco, Nachos w/ Chicken, Guacamole, ceviche, and margaritas. The margaritas, for being at a Mexican restaurant, were passable. The mango margarita tasted a little like mango, like a Lacroix version of a mango margarita. This was the least enticing of what we ordered. The Americano Taco was a classic white person taco. Hard shell. Ground beef. Nothing too crazy. It was a taco. The ceviche had delicious plantain chips, which I love, to accompany it and the striped bass. In addition there was pineapple and sweet potato. My problem with the ceviche was that there wasn't a lot of fish in it. The guacamole was well mixed and flavored. Served with potato tortilla chips was nice and they were nice and salty. The best part, the nachos with cochinita pibil were flavorful, filling, and cheesy. I was the most happy with the nachos choice for HH so if you're looking for a good happy hour deal come for the nachos.

Probably the worst Mexican restaurant in Colorado…read more We were greeted by a young red-haired hostess at the front, and unfortunately she seemed completely uninterested in her job or even seating us. It was a very poor first impression. After being seated, things didn't improve much. The staff working the bar and nearby tables were very short with us from the beginning and gave off the impression that they didn't want to be there. What made it worse was that the restaurant wasn't even busy at all. I ordered a michelada, and honestly it was one of the worst I've had. I've tried micheladas all over the Americas, and this one was terrible. I specifically asked for it to not be too spicy, was told "okay," and it still came out extremely spicy. I couldn't even drink it. For food, I ordered a burrito while my friend ordered fajitas and a quesadilla. The pictures looked great, but the food arrived cold. We had also ordered well before the two tables next to us, yet they received their meals at least 10 minutes before we did. The only positive part of the experience was the woman who brought our food out from the kitchen. She was very kind and welcoming, and honestly the best part of the restaurant. Back staff should probably be taking the orders. After our food arrived, nobody checked on us even once. We were never asked if the food was okay, if we wanted another drink, or if we needed water refills. The server only came back when it was time to pay. Walked by us multiple times and never took the time to stop to ask us how we doing. There was essentially no service throughout the meal. I will say the decor and atmosphere were beautiful. The restaurant did feel like a small piece of Mexico, which I appreciated. However, as a Latino, the hospitality and service did not reflect the warm and welcoming Latino vibe I expected. Overall: great decor, but the service and food were extremely disappointing. There are many other Mexican restaurants nearby offering much better experiences. This place seriously needs to improve its hospitality and customer service.
