I went here for brunch and left with a headache. The restaurant doesn't understand the concept of customer service. Waiters are not trained or responsive to requests. The food took very long to come out, it was cold and some of the glasses were not cleaned properly. The only good thing was that the decor is nice and the food was not bad. If I can give a 0 star I would. First of all the manager/owner is very greedy. They should not be a muslim owned business especially during the month of Ramadan. We made a reservation 1 week prior to coming here while most people just walked in and they prioritized their seating first. While fasting the owner had the audacity to tell me we have a seat for you next door but no buffet in the other part of the restaurant. I have to walk with my plate outside where it's unsanitary open 4 doors to get food from the main restaurant. This man did not want to accommodate to anything, he did not feel bad how inconvenient it was for someone who fasted 15 hrs and go outside to walk and open 4 doors to eat at the buffet and get charged the same as everyone else. Super greedy muslim business, disgrace to our community. He is only thinking about making money. read more

This was an emergency find and a pleasant surprise. Being a die-hard coffee addict, currently on a self-imposed moratorium from this heavenly beverage, I was looking for a place that would provide an adequate substitute (and also to drown out the echoes of a bad bad Sunday afternoon matinee). This place fit the bill perfectly. The decor is bright, colorful and cheery without being too overpowering. The walls and shelves are covered with multi-colored teapots, lanterns, woven baskets and wicker chairs. The restaurant itself has two levels. The first level seats folks looking for a regular restaurant meal and has tables/chairs and enough seating for large groups. The upper level is smaller and is meant to be cafe-style and has floor-level diwan seating. This came as a pleasant surprise and made the whole experience more fun and exciting. Our group of 6 had the whole level to ourselves on a Sunday afternoon, which was pretty cool. As for the food itself, we tried: Karachi Style Bun Kebab - Delicious! Aloo Samosa - Good Special Aloo Chat - would not recommend Aloo Paratha - Moist, melt-in-the-mouth good! Dhaka Chicken - Good Doodh Patti Special Chai - truly good! I called to make a reservation and when I arrived it was for outdoor seating which was not discussed over the phone. I asked to switch seating inside which they told me was already reserved. The food was good would definitely recommend the chicken kebob & biryani. After the meal was finished the inside tables were still empty with no one arriving for the reservations. Overall food was good, outdoor seating was not ideal during October the food got cold within minutes not to mention ourselves. Please be clear with reservation details. read more

Horrible chai, horrible food. We ordered the dhaka chicken and it was stringy and hard; it was not fresh chicken at all. We also got the special aloo chat which was spicy for no reason when there was no mention of it being spicy on the menu. We also got the kashmiri chai and it was also bad, we werent even offered water. There is lack of communication between the team members. They are slow and overall just bad. We understand that COVID impacted businesses but my husband and I have been to plentyyyy of restaurants during covid and all doing wonderful. We only paid for the chai. I went to this restaurant for a night snack, very simple order. In return, the "owner" was extremely rude and disrespectful. When asked to take the order, he literally threw the paper and asked me to look around to see how busy it was. I had asked very politely, and he was nothing but absolutely just rude to me in return. What a Beautiful Decor Restrunt. The food and service is really really bad. I went there 3-4 times, every time we went they keep telling us that they still doing soft opening. That's funny. They never have anything on the menu. I would recommend NOT to drink tea in their decorated chenak because it is decoration piece not for hot tea. You can smell the paint in your tea when you drink it from the chenak. I hope they fix their menu also. It will be sad to see another Pakistani Restrunt go down. read more

We were a party of 15 and called a few days before hand to let them know we wanted to host a brunch. We were the first people in the restaurant yet our food took about 2 hours to be served over one hour span of time. We had karhai but no naan. Chai was cold. Paratha was cold. They don't have regular drinking cups and kids cups. And plates were dirty. If you're a large group and planning to eat your food at once, be prepared to be disappointed. read more

The chef appears to be an amateur, perhaps lifting recipes from Youtube videos. The decor is the selling point - what a breath of fresh air. chai chenak has been a favorite since they first opened their doors last summer. i always get the chicken tikka club sandwich and it reminds me exactly of the sandwiches i get to eat in Pakistan the doodh patti chai is another special that reminds my entire family of home so that's how you know it's good. even if we're not getting any food, i have stopped by too many times just for a cup of chai. definitely don't sleep on this place and try it out ASAP! read more
