I love this place. I had the best chai latte ever! Everything is pug themed with dog-friendly items to order (as a pug owner, I loved that). Food is also pretty good too. Perfect place if you're trying to get work done, but want to get something to eat and not move. The noise level was decent enough to have a conversation and focus at the same time. So I made my first visit to Chai Coffee. They have done a really nice job on the interior. My only complaint is they don't carry regular drip coffee which is what I mostly go for. They do however have a pour over or an Americano but at $3.00 I thought was a little pricey for a cup of coffee. If you like the fancier lattes there is plenty. For now I will probably stick to White Rabbit or Starbucks. read more

I love love their breakfast sandwiches. The coffees are ok. We got 2 California bagels on jalapeño cheese and two cinnamon honey lattes. They were delicious. The only complain is their hours. I work Monday through Friday and have to leave Yucaipa by 7:30am to make my Fontana job on time. This means I cannot get breakfast from here during the week, which is probably the case for a lot of Yucaipians. Must try if it fits your schedule, last call for food is 12:45pm. read more

Just tried their activated charcoal late iced on Sunday for the first time and it was delicious! The tropical ice tea or dragon fruit lemonade are perfect for summer! Hubby and I came to try this place because we saw they offered Vegan options. Well, it turns out their batter is always Vegan (accidentally Vegan hehe) and it comes with fruit on top. The barista did say they happened to be out of Vegan whipped cream, but it was seriously so good with just the fruit and maple syrup! Their coffee was really good too. We both had Vanilla lattes with Oat milk. I definitely recommend the oat milk as well, it added some creaminess :) I will definitely be back soon for breakfast (make sure you come in before 11am or they stop serving waffles). read more

Changing table in the impeccably clean bathroom is a huge plus! Every time I patronize this establishment, I've always had to utilize the changing table for my newborn. Chai waffle is a favorite of mine and my toddler, another major plus. Finally met the namesake of this coffee establishment. Being a cat person, Chai won my heart over. Tried this place for the first time on a Sunday morning. I am so excited to have a business like this in Yucaipa and I am hopeful that they have a lot of success! We brought our two small children, and while the place is advertised as "dog-friendly" it is also "kid-friendly!" My husband and I ordered sandwiches, which were pretty good. My only issue was the bread. It was a generic sourdough, definitely not Village Bread as advertised. The young man working behind the counter informed us that their bread/ bagel delivery had not come that day, so we'll have to try again for good bread. On the flip side, we ordered a waffle for our kids to split. HOLY COW!!!! The whipped cream was unreal and the waffle was perfect. Next time I'll definitely have to try that! I do enjoy their pour over even though its to small for my liking. I looove the lavender blended coffee. the staff is always friendly. its quiet and clean with good music playing, they have games and internet. The food is really good and made fresh. Ifyou eat at the cafe they serve it on dishes and have silverware to use. I love that they use less plastic then other places ive been to. They also have a menu for dogs. the only downside is it gets pretty warm inside a lot of the time. overall though it's an awesome little town cafe. read more
