It's a small spot but definitely has that aesthetic vibe going on. I got the strawberry matcha--it was solid, I'd get it again. I usually like when there's real strawberry pieces or puree, but the syrup still worked! My boyfriend got the cold brew and it for sure woke him up--like, instantly haha. One of the better matcha places I've had in LA! Most other places make you pay LA prices for either low quality matcha or the drink is just mostly milk, but these were just the opposite. I got the blue matcha latte with almond milk, it was so matcha-rich and delicious, my only complaint would be that it was difficult to mix in the butterfly pea syrup at the bottom since the straws were a little short(maybe the syrup would be better on top?). My friend got the salted pistachio matcha latte with whole milk, I think this drink had more of an acquired taste, first sip was extremely salty, and I think the foam on top made the drink feel very creamy/fatty? Service was fine, our cashier was a little soft-spoken so it was kind of hard to hear her since the space is so small with a bunch of people inside, but she was welcoming and answered all our questions. Overall, I would go back for their matcha, and I'm excited to go back to try their coffee! I'm not sure why this place has such bad reviews. I was hesitating to try after reading the reviews but I went ahead and gave it a try. And let me tell you they serve really good coffee. The cold brew I got was so delicious. And my mom said it's probably the best cortado she ever had. When we stopped by after shopping at the mall it was around 3 pm and there was a long line out the door. It moved fast and the cashier was so friendly and patient with everyone. A few people worked nonstop to fill everyone's orders in a timely manner. Great team work. They have a few tables outside if you want to take a break while shopping. Was able to try one of their drinks which is the matcha pistachio, and it was great! Taste is unique, the blend and sweetness is just right. The only thing I didn't like is the long line of peeps. I guess long line is good because that means people will really wait in line to get a hold of one of their drinks. Staff are friendly and nice. Service was quick too so that long line goes away fast. Oof, my experience at Chamberlain Coffee fell quite short upon visiting the influencer's newest coffee stand at the Century City Mall. I did know what to expect from the long line of supporters visiting her and knew to be patient, but upon viewing how the drinks were made, the taste, and quality of the drinks, this was definitely a first- and last-time experience. Overall wait: 2 hours (Saturday) Drinks Ordered: Emma's Way (added hazelnut), Peanut Butter Mocha, Blue Matcha & Salted Pistachio Matcha Emma's Way (4/5): Surprisingly my favorite out of all the coffees, but it needed an additional flavor added to this as the staff told us it was not that sweet if ordered on its own. Peanut Butter Mocha (1/5): Tasted strange and bitter, with mocha sauce reminding me of a Hersheys syrup pumped on the bottom of the cup. I was struggling to find the peanut butter flavor in this. The majority of the matcha drinks had zero matcha taste, which I found strange because I've purchased a tin of Chamberlain Matcha and was able to taste the matcha flavor when made on my own. The matcha was premade in a squeeze bottle, to speed up the process. I can taste more of it in the Blue Matcha, but the Salted Pistachio flavor is too strong. I would give the Blue Matcha a 3/5, and the Salted Pistachio Matcha a 2/5. IMO, the simpler the drink, the better tasting it is. The aesthetics are on point with the cute cups and storefront display. There is a big line most of the time because of the hype, and I would not say it's worth the wait. I ordered the Mocha Latte and i asked them to put extra vanilla syrup after I tried it to make it more sweet. It was good, but not worth the price and wait time. The cups are really cute and the coffee looks pretty, but there is no where to sit inside and it was raining so that was a bit inconvenient. I also bought the premade canned coffees (the cinnamon oat milk flavor) and it was very bad, not sure if I just got the wrong flavor. Their beans are good but their merch is my favorite. I ordered: Emma's way: 9/10 (not sweet) I loved trying Emma's favorite drink. Salted caramel cold brew: 10/10 perfectly foamy cold foam. The Strawberry Matcha - Taste was fine, nothing incredible. Small strawberry taste but enough that it justifies the name. Matcha was fine. Finally got to try Chamberlain Coffee after hearing all the buzz! Yes, it's definitely a bit overpriced--but hey, it's LA and it's a novelty, so that's kind of expected. I got the iced vanilla latte and it was delicious (plus the cups are seriously cute). My fiancé got an Americano and said it was "fine," lol. I also tried the lemon verbena cake which was amazing--would've loved it even more if they offered to warm it up (not sure if that's an option). And wow is the taste just bad. It's incredibly watery and the coffee tastes incredibley bitter and burnt. In fact i don't even think it tastes like coffee. It tastes like burnt bitter watery milk. Not to mention the vanilla flavor is barely there. I don't think i've ever had as bad of a coffee than at starbucks which honestly, at least starbucks coffee TASTES like coffee. When we received the drinks, there was no labeling or explanation of which was which. For drinks that were almost $9 each, drinks are getting EXPENSIVE, that was frustrating.
