Went on a Tuesday around 10:30a (right before coffee rush hour) and took about 10-15min to order, sit down, and get drink/food. Ample seating with indoor and (limited) outdoor options. Most people were there with their laptops doing work or studying - they offer free wifi! Got the cold brew and avocado toast - both were good! The toast had a lot of shmear and the cold brew was not sour at all :) Very chill vibe inside and staff is friendly. Overall great coffee shop for work/studying - no bathrooms though! read more

I wanted to check out a new coffee shop and I needed some lifestyle photos for a client, so I stopped by and tried the vanilla cardamom latte. It was so good! Don't be intimidated by the cardamom, it was very light so even if you're not used to the taste it blended so well with the vanilla. Make sure you ask them to put it in a pretty glass for pictures! They originally brought it out in a paper cup, but the Baris's was super nice and put it in this blue mug for me. The vibe was so cute too. Very cozy and relaxing, the perfect place to get work done or just hang out. Plenty of seating, and I loved the fresh jasmines they had inside the shop. I visited on a Wednesday around 11am and there were a few people inside working on their laptops and only one person in line. I ordered an iced matcha latte with honey and it was good! The service was friendly and they brought my drink to the table. I stayed to enjoy my drink and got some work done. They have WiFi and different seating options inside. For outside seating, they have a few tables in the front and a mini patio in the back with 2 small tables. They also sell breakfast burritos, toasts, and a veggie omelette. read more

Beautiful cafe and wonderful barista! I asked for the iced vanilla cardamom latte to be less sweet and he did it so perfectly. He also said he could make it a little more sweet if I'd like more syrup in it. A perfect midday pick me up and close to ucla. Plenty of rooms inside to work in as well. There are also a few tables outside if you'd like to sit in the sun. read more

This is a comfortable and clean cafe. It's a good study spot or place to grab coffee with friends. I'd say it's a medium sized cafe, not too small or big. I like how bright the space is with natural light. The service is quick and I have no complaints. From what I've tried, the matcha is just okay since there isn't much matcha flavor. But I'll likely come back again to study and try the coffee. read more

I was looking for a pick-me-up while in the Westwood area and stopped by Sipp to check out their drinks. The cardamon honey latte was tasty with a strong cardamon and ginger flavor. I liked how they also had tiny ginger pieces. The honey/sweetness level was appropriate without any adjustments. My partner's cold brew with pistachio cream top was also solid. The cream was a little on the sweeter side but still had a good pistachio taste. Staff were super friendly and nice! Lots of seating and wifi available. Lots of other people were there to study/do work. Some tables outside on the street and there is this mini patio area that looked super cute. If I was in the area, I'd come back to try their other spiced coffee! read more

Such a cute little coffee shop. Atmosphere was cozy and charming, and the staff was very nice and helpful. I ordered orange blossom matcha and it was so fragrant and flavorful. Residing in Westwood, Sipp surely gave that vibe of go-to coffee shop for studying or working. The barista was super friendly as well, giving it an extra point. I totally lost count on the number of Pistachio Latte I tried recently. It's just flourishing in all coffee shops menu right after the dubai chocolate hype. Some used syrup, some featured it as their cream top flavoring, and some used paste or cream. Sipp's was with syrup and TBH prolly the syrup taste was not my cup of tea, as it somehow had that rose water hint on my palate. The coffee itself was okay, and price wise it's pretty good deal for the size. read more

This place is bomb! A hidden gem in the area. Plus they're open till 6pm. I came for a quick bite on a weekend afternoon and service was very fast. The ambience is cozy and laid back. There is some seating but it's a small space. I got the honey cardamom latte and Persian toast. So good! The toast tasted sort of like French toast meets omelette. I'm totally coming back because the pastries looked awesome. read more

Popped in on a Monday morning around 8a and had the breakfast burrito and a matcha latte w/ almond milk and lavender. My first sip of the matcha was pure satisfaction. This latte was magnificent, warm and soothing to taste. If you love autumnal spices this drink is perfect for you! The vanilla is rich while the cardamom adds a nice subtle balance to the creamy coffee. I personally prefer black coffee, no cream or sugars, so I tried this on a whim and it was the best coffee I've tasted in Los Angeles so far. In addition, the energy of this space was profound and peaceful. Beautiful, Boho aesthetic with natural designs and pops of vibrant colors. This cafe serves as a reminder of why I despise visiting West LA. I came here to do a bit of studying before I visited UCLA for a meeting. It was close by, had somewhat good ratings, the pictures looked decent. I ask what their best coffee is they recommend the Saffron coffee, orange blossom, or white caramel coffee; I ordered the last one. A sign listed their wifi and that they had no bathrooms. I needed to go bathroom, so where did they suggest I go? Down the street to Bristol Farms. Cafes that don't provide a bathroom for their customers are absurd. I go walk down to Bristol Farms, buy something because I'm not just going to piss at their place and leave to the cafe that told me to do so. I come back to try their overpriced $8 cup of coffee that is absolutely flavorless. I tried my best to finish the drink just to get my money's worth, but by the time I was 3/4th done, I realized I can just go to a different cafe. Not only do they not have bathrooms, tasteless coffee, I asked the barista if there were ANY charging outlets in the cafe and she said she didn't know. I looked around and didn't find a single outlet. If you were curious and wanted to try this cafe to study, I advise you to try a different cafe. This place is not study-friendly whatsoever. New coffee shop in Westwood! I came on a weekend morning and all the seats were filled, assuming everyone came for brunch. It looks like a study-able spot, but with limited outlets. Orange Maple Latte 10/10: I did not expect to enjoy this drink as much as I did! I'm not a huge fan of oranges or orange flavored things, but this was SO delicious. The orange wasn't overpowering and there was still a strong sweet coffee flavor. I'd highly recommend this drink for something unique, yet still simple. Cardamon Honey Latte 6/10. The cardamon is super prevalent, so if you enjoy spice like that, this one is for you. Personally, not a huge fan of mixing those flavors together. read more

Ordered the saffron latte, avocado toast, Persian toast, and the citrus olive oil cake. Best item for me was the cake, smooth with a bold orange flavor. Although the saffron latte doesn't taste very different from a standard latte, the aroma definitely gives a light hint of saffron. The avocado toast was a winner, and the Persian toast included a combination of new flavors that included dates and oatmeal with a scrambled egg. Service was friendly and my dog was able to sit in my lap while we enjoyed our food. read more

My friend and I decided to try a new coffee shop before walking to UCLA campus. It's an easy and safe walk from campus, and I love that it's not overly packed with students. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside. They even have a little patio outdoors near the back that feels more private. Since it was my first time here, I decided to play it safe by ordering their latte with regular milk. Even though my order was to go, I appreciated that the barista made me coffee art! They also had pastries like banana bread, olive oil muffin, blueberry muffin, chocolate croissant, and almond croissant. I ordered the banana bread which was delicious and my friend ordered the almond croissant, which they offered to toast for her. This women-owned small business is bringing coffee, community, and good vibes to LA's Westwood area! We started off with one of their popular items, the Saffron Latte, and their Pistachio Cold Brew. There's a little enclosed outdoor patio space with a couple tables on the side of the cashier (area is not on the street/sidewalk). -Inside Seating: There's 1 long table in the middle and 1 along the wall with bar stools, but only the bar stool area has a charging outlet. Cushioned chairs in the corners which make the space feel cozy! Personally I really enjoyed studying here bc it wasn't too crowded when I came, but I can imagine possible crowds and minimal outlets/seating would make it difficult. -Drinks: Matcha was standard, a bit watered down. Just sipping on my coffee in this cute little hidden gem in @westwoodvillage As a busy student, I'm always looking for a cozy study spot with plenty of seating and well-crafted lattes and breakfast foods, and @sipplacoffee definitely checks off my boxes! I had to order their signature saffron latte, which is crafted by their insanely talented barista with REAL saffron flowers, and their yogurt bowl, which is loaded with chia seeds, nuts, and fresh bananas, strawberries and blueberries. Service was so fast despite the busy flow of customers, and the food and drinks come out within ~5 minutes of ordering, making this spot perfect for takeout orders as well. There are plenty of street parking spots out in front in that area, although I would check on the meter intermittently if you're staying for longer. Highly recommend checking them out if you're in the Westwood area! read more

2nd visit to this adorable cafe, this time to have breakfast. The delicious cold brew with cold foam hit the spot, the perfect drink after a walk on a walk morning. Avocado toast is one of my fav breakfast items and Sipp's drizzle of honey was the perfect complement! My pup Skyler and I chilled in their indoor patio space. New coffee shop in Westwood! Gorgeous! They did a uniquely amazing job with such a small space that allows it to feel bigger than it is and you definitely don't feel like you're just a street away from the skyscrapers of Wilshire. It's bright and open and I like that they included a big table instead of multiple small ones (personal preference for studying + having chairs moved astray everywhere). They also have very comfortable quality chairs in the corners and what looks to be an outdoor courtyard type of seating area. There is a water/sugar bar which I like! They also have a fridge of snacks and energy drinks if you're hungry, but their food options do seem very promising compared to the boring and stale pastries from other cafes in the area. Based on the Saffron Latte I had alone I would give this place a 3.25, but the ambience and quality of the service + benefit of the doubt for the food/drinks I have not tried (I will be back! With updates) rounds it up to a good 4. Not sure if they have wifi, but there's no bathroom so beware if you plan on staying long term. The saffron latte was well balanced, I just wish it had some sort of sweetness but that's my personal preference. I like the taste of the espresso itself and presentation was beautiful! read more

Sipp Coffee House in Westwood, minutes from UCLA, is a new coffee shop with a March 2024 Grand Opening. I went a day before the official grand opening, and it was alright. The interior is beautiful; customer service was okay lol. I ordered the saffron latte with an additional $1 for a milk alternative. It was alright lol, I've had better. The saffron was really light, and the espresso was just right. I was expecting a little sweetness, but wasn't there lol. Parking is limited to street, metered parking. They're offering 50% off all drinks for the grand opening on March 3, 2024 on Sunday. I got the dates wrong and went on Saturday, March 2, 2024, rather than the official launch.
