Went to Westfield Century City and I wanted iced coffee I wanted to try a place that I have never been to before. Lo and behold, Chamberlain Coffee was the first thing I saw when I went upstairs. I normally see Chamberlain coffee beans at places like Sprouts and Whole Foods so it's cool to see that there are actually coffee shops! (And yes, I am late to the game because I just found out five minutes ago that an influencer/business woman/podcaster/model is who owns this business and franchise.) Chamberlain Coffee is a stand-alone tiny shop/kiosk that is modern and sleek and only big enough for a few people to stand inside to order. There are no seating inside but tons located outside since the food court is close by. I am probably the worse at giving you a full review because I looked up and IMMEDIATELY zoned in on the banana latte. I am in my banana latte era! Ordered it from one of the three workers and got my well-crafted drink in less than 7 minutes. My banana latte made with whole milk was DELICIOUS! It is sweet but not synthetically sweet. I can taste the banana syrup, tasting homemade, and the coffee is strong enough shine through. It is not diluted with milk or masked with sugar. This is a well made coffee. The large, with tax, is going to cost $10. This drink edged up to be one of the best banana latte I have had as of yet so $10 for the large is worth it.
After eating at the Westfield Cenutry City Mall food court, we needed dessert. I know we never stop on our food adventures unless it's time to go home. But before the dessert, my eldest daughter wanted coffee. We saw Chamberlain Coffee and here we are. It is a very tiny clean coffee shop in its own standalone space. You basically walk in and walk out in a matter of several steps. It's that tiny. We entered through one end of the shop and exited the other end. Limited outdoor patio seating with covers. Menu was small with selections of coffee, lattes, teas, baked goods, etc. Lady staff who took our order was cordial. One cup of hot latte with caramel was what we got. Price was fair. Service was very quick. We were in and out of here in less than 8 minutes. Believe or not, there was a huge line in front of us and a huge line behind us. As for the taste, it didn't have the umph that a good coffee should have. The coffee art was not even attempted IMHO. Check out photo. I can't give them too much props. Next time we should get their best seller drink. Thanks Chamberlain Coffee!
I've heard about this place from Emma Chamberlains social media but never had a chance to try it until recently. The salted pistachio matcha was pretty good, kind of sweet, but not in a bad way. There aren't many people working which makes sense cause it's a small place so it can move a little slow but it's overall a cute place for a little mall bev.
We were visiting the area and had heard great things about this place, so we were excited to try it out. We ordered two banana matchas, one with regular milk and one with oat milk. The shop is small, so we were waiting outside, when our drinks came out, there was nothing labeling which was which. So my boyfriend asked the barista with the colored/pink hair, and she condescendingly told him, "You can just check the ticket." The ticket only showed that we ordered one of each drink, it didn't tell us which drink was which. I went back and asked her myself and received the same attitude and condescending tone. She asked to see the receipt, which we were more than happy to show her. After looking at it, she seemed unsure herself and pointed to a spot on the table, saying the drink that had been there was the oat milk one. We had no idea which drink had been sitting there. Thankfully, the person who took our order was able to clarify. We found the banana matcha to be too sweet, and the dismissive customer service made the experience even more disappointing. We were simply asking a basic question and I understand the shop gets busy, but that's not an excuse for rude service. We were excited to try this place, so I hope this is addressed so other customers don't have a similar experience.

This morning (Saturday, June 20th), I stopped by Chamberlain Coffee and ordered the Glow Matcha Latte. I actually decided to visit after seeing a review from one of my Yelp friends mentioning that ordering this drink gets you a free lip gloss and sheet mask from Olive Young. I asked the cashier about it, and she confirmed it was true, so I decided to give it a try! The latte was delicious and not too sweet, which I liked. The only downside was that I couldn't get it decaf since it's matcha, and they didn't offer non-fat milk either. However, the cashier was friendly. She asked what kind of milk I preferred and brought up the Olive Young promo, asking if I was going to wait in line. When I told them I wasn't sure yet, she gave me a good tip: she said if I didn't want to wait, I could just show the green Olive Young card to the security guard to get the goodie bag. I was thankful for the advice! Interestingly enough, when I actually went to Olive Young, the security guard just told me to ask about the front desk. Despite that little mix-up, the cashier was very sweet and the matcha latte was good so I'm satisfied overall. I just really wish they had a decaf option! cf) One other disappointing thing was that the Asian woman who had been very unfriendly during my previous visit was still working there making coffee. She was the same employee who, without even asking me, sprinkled cinnamon powder all over my coffee at that time.
Stopped by for Chamberlain coffee's collab with Olive Young, which just opened in the Century City mall! If you purchase their limited edition glow matcha (at a hefty $9.8) you can get a free goodie bag (with a face mask and lip gloss) at Olive Young! The collab is going on until June 22nd. The glow matcha latte is a matcha latte with dragon fruit syrup and topped with a dragon fruit cream top. I got mine half sweet and the sweetness level was perfect. It honestly tasted a bit more like strawberry but overall was a solid latte. Service was super friendly too. Definitely a fun drink to try while it lasts!
This place has been quite a few different coffee/beverage places, but I was excited to try the new Chamberlain due to the fact they had a peanut butter mocha according to the photos here on yelp. Sadly, that drink was just a special but they do have 'peanut butter mocha latte' (basically a variation minus the chocolate ganache) which I decided to try in a regular size. The girl working the register was newer so she didn't know anything about the previous drink but I was willing to chance it. Also went with a chocolate croissant since it was there. Drink wasn't too bad; got it iced but it could have been prepared hot (minus the cloud). They use chunky ice cubes which take up a lot of space but I was able to enjoy what I had. Croissant was also good. The space is basically a glorified kiosk, but there is plenty of outdoor seating right around it. I've cut my coffee habit down significantly however I wouldn't mind dropping by again to see what they had to offer. Peanut butter in a drink could go either way and I have to say they got it right-
I'm impressed with this coffee. It has a really good flavor. I'm genuinely satisfied. Sometimes coffee can have a strange bitter taste, but this is perfect. It definitely passes the taste test. I also like that there are a variety of unique syrups and cream tops. The syrup is subtle and high quality; no "fake" taste. The cashier that rung me up was really nice too. I definitely recommend.
There are quite a few coffee choices in the mall but I kept walking around, both downstairs and upstairs, until I settled on Chamberlain Coffee, which was upstairs and I had not heard about it before. In addition to a short, straightforward menu, they also have seasonal offerings posted on a temporary board. I was intrigued by the pickle matcha but tried the orange latte instead. The barista was singlehandedly taking orders and making coffee but was still very friendly and asked me how my morning was going. It turns out that people called in sick which is why she was alone on a Saturday morning. There is no seating inside but there is umbrella-covered seating outside but I took my coffee with me as I strolled the mall. The interaction was so pleasant that I would want to come back and try their other flavors.
4/5 - Trendy coffee spot with strong brews Stopped by Chamberlain Coffee while shopping at the mall and it was a solid coffee break! Vibe: Super cute and aesthetic--very on-brand and Instagram-worthy. It's not a huge space, but there are a few tables if you want to sit and relax for a bit. Drinks: I tried the cold brew and it was definitely on the stronger side, which I personally liked. They also have different flavor options, so you can mix it up depending on your mood. Price range: Expect about $5-$8 per drink, which is pretty typical for specialty coffee in this area. Location & parking: Located inside Westfield Century City, so parking is just mall parking (easy but can get busy depending on the time). Final thoughts: Great spot if you're already at the mall and want a quality coffee with a fun vibe. Not a huge sit-down café, but perfect for a quick pick-me-up. Would definitely come back to try more!!
The staff was very nice and they worked quickly. The line looked long but it was only a 5-10 minute wait. There is some outdoor seating and dog friendly. Unfortunately, my pickle matcha didn't fully commit to the name. The matcha was too weak and the pickle was closer to lemonade than pickle. I really liked the ingenuity but they should've doubled down and gone hard. Instead of a matcha pickle abomination, I got green lemonade. Otherwise, it's another coffee shop at the mall.
Came in the afternoon and there was no line. The staff who took my order were very kind and friendly! She took her time to talk to me and make me feel welcomed. I ordered two drinks: a Matcha Latte with Foam on top and the Butterfly Pea Matcha. I had different opinions on the drinks. For the Matcha Latte I would give that a 4/5. Good flavor but not the best I've had! For the Butterfly Pea Matcha, I would give that a 3/5. The butterfly pea flavor was undetectable which was saddening. I was excited to try this place because I've been waiting a while for hype to die all the way down. Overall this place is pretty pricey for a very small drink which sucks. For this reason I don't think I would be going back. Nice place to try though.

Good for a matcha and a cold brew however it wasn't great enough to go back to. So many other places in LA make a better matcha for less so I'd recommend going once here for "the hype" and then just sticking to your regular coffee spots. Cool shop! Very carefully crafted ofc read more

I got the strawberry matcha and it tasted a bit rotten and sour. I have never experienced this anywhere else. I tossed the drink which I never do just because I couldn't finish it. The pastries looked good and service was good, I just don't think I'd come back here again. This was honestly such a let down. Miss Emma Chamberlain, you really disappointed the matcha girlies... A very artificial taste while being way too sweet. Sitting right on top of the matcha was just a heaping spoon of salt so every sip that I took was clumpy and salty... not cute at all. Also waited in line for more than an hour. Granted this was closer to when they were a brand new pop up but it was definitely not worth it at all. We literally had to throw away our drinks after a couple sips. read more

Came here for the first time out of curiosity. luckily i didn't wait long in line at all. but my goodness is this coffee just terrible. i ordered an iced latte with vanilla syrup and paid $8.40 for it which I think is insane for a simple latte with NOTHING special about it like a foam or what not. And wow is the taste just bad. It's incredibly watery and the coffee tastes incredibley bitter and burnt. In fact i don't even think it tastes like coffee. It tastes like burnt bitter watery milk. Not to mention the vanilla flavor is barely there. I don't think i've ever had as bad of a coffee than at starbucks which honestly, at least starbucks coffee TASTES like coffee. I'm never bothering to come back here and I would suggest you don't bother with it either. It's overpriced and just plain bad. read more

I know the wait for this place has been crazy, but I only waited about 10-15 minutes in line, and barely waited for my drink after I ordered. The orange blossom latte was delicious, I'd get it over and over again. It had an orange flavored cold foam that I would probably prefer if it had been a more neutral flavor, but still very good. I also tasted some cardamom in the coffee, very yummy!! The croissant was probably the best coffee shop croissant I've ever had. Came to the mall for lunch & saw this new coffee shop. Saw lots of ppl ordering their matcha but I went with their lavender latte & a cold brew. The cold brew is just iced coffee, that was disappointing. The lavender latte wasn't bad but also had like a "fruity pebbles" type of taste. Probably won't order again but might come back to give the matcha a try. Customer service was friendly. And it's a small kiosk in the mall so gets crowded as you wait for your drink inside. I actually am surprised to find out this spot is related to Emma Chamberlain, who is an influencer. I'm pretty happy that I was lucky to order here without a long wait or rush. When I first ordered, I was told that they were out of oat milk-- only having pistachio, whole, or almond. The awkward thing was that I have a nut allergy (2 out of 3 out) and I am lactose intolerant (3 strikes--), and so I was about to leave but luckily the lady stopped me. She goes, "If there's at least one, would you still get the drink?" So I said, "Oh okay, yeah!!" And so she double checked and thankfully saw one oat milk left. I was happy and ordered the "blue matcha oat milk latte" iced. I saw a little girl and a dad enjoying it outside so I wanted to try it! The wait for the drink was only a couple minutes-- very quick! However, a funny thing is that I was surprised to see that the blue matcha latte was not blue-- just green. The receipt clearly shows "Blue" but.. Oh well. I figured the matcha would still be the same? And just dealt with it. (Update: I wish I spoke up because I now realize the blue matcha drink costs $1+ more than the regular matcha drink..) Taste: Overall the drink to me tasted like an average matcha drink? It wasn't unpleasant or anything. It felt like I drank it super quickly unfortunately and I would taste water/ice soon. I would look and see that 90% of the cup was filled with ice cubes (yeah it's one of those..) . Went here to see if the drinks were worth it or not. I opted for the matcha latte. I was inspired but other reviews to get the extra pistachio flavoring, which added a nuttier flavor to the matcha. They also recommended adding the cream and made the drink sweeter. With everything masking the actual matcha flavor, I can't really judge how good quality the matcha itself was, but the other flavoring made it taste good. Glad I finally got to try the signature Salted Pistachio Matcha Latte tonight. There were no crazy lines wrapping around like I saw Sunday 2/2 afternoon. I realized this past weekend was their Grand Opening. I'm from Chicago so happened to stop by the mall to visit the Pop Mart. This Chamberlain Coffee shop was right outside of Pop Mart. When I saw the lines I was confused thinking the line was for Pop Mart but in fact it was for the coffee shop. I was definitely curious. So today I needed to find out for myself what the craze was about. And now I know. The matcha was smooth and not overly powerful. It didn't leave a strong after taste. The salted pistachio flavoring was different but wasn't bad. I liked it but the pieces of pistachio throughout the drink got me a bit annoyed. I would order this again minus the pistachio pieces. The drink did take a while to prepare even without the long lines. The staff was super friendly. The shop was cute and very well lit and bright. The menu was very clear and not confusing. I liked the matcha so much I decided to buy 2 tins of it that happened to be on sale $18/tin at the Erewhon in Beverly Hills. I highly recommend the Salted Pistachio Matcha Latte. After following Emma for years, I was borderline emotional (?) seeing her open a coffee shop and also having a drink on the menu that she made in her very early vlog days at home (Emma's way). We came on a Sunday around 2 and waited about 10 minutes to order. I can't believe people waited up to two hours, but I probably would have too! We ordered the Salted Pistachio Matcha and Emma's way with 1/2 vanilla flavor. My partner absolutely loved his pistachio matcha - and yes pistachio is a very overpowering flavor so it is hard to also taste matcha when you order a drink like this. I thought they did a great job of balancing the flavors! I loved the Emma's way coffee, and I appreciate the no charge for non-dairy milks. The store is cute and adorable. I've been here twice and ordered the strawberry matcha latte both times. It was pretty good! If it's any indication of how her packaged strawberry matcha mix that's sold at target is then sign me up! As a lactose intolerant girlie, I'm so happy that it automatically is made with oat milk! Yaaaaaaay! The price tag is a bit hefty compared to other matcha places but let's be real here - most people are paying for the name/experience. I've seen a lot of complaints about the wait time but both times I've gone (afternoon/evening) it's been less than a 5 min wait to order and to receive my drink. It's a small space but there's plenty of seating directly outside the shop and all around the beautiful Westfield Century City. read more

I ordered Emma's Way with Pistachio flavoring and I thought it was really good. Now the real question. Was it worth it? Chamberlain Coffee has been buzzing with hype, so I was eager to give it a try, but unfortunately, my experience was quite underwhelming. The first thing you notice is the long line, which seems to be a constant. Despite this, the line moves at a decent pace, so the wait wasn't too unbearable. Once inside, I was surprised by the limited variety on the menu. While the basics are covered, there isn't much to choose from, and adding anything extra to your drink quickly drives up the price. It seems that any customization pushes your drink to at least $10, which feels steep for what you get. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk, and the person taking my order suggested adding a flavor since the drink itself isn't sweet. I opted for vanilla, hoping it would enhance the overall taste. However, when I received my drink, it was a letdown. It tasted overwhelmingly like plain almond milk, with barely any hint of matcha. The flavor was so flat that it felt like the matcha was missing entirely. Overall, my visit to Chamberlain Coffee didn't live up to the hype. While the staff's friendliness was a plus, the limited menu options, high prices for add-ons, and lackluster flavors make it unlikely that I'll return. It's disappointing when a place with such a strong reputation falls short of expectations. I didn't know pistachio milk was a thing & they had a peanut butter mocha, which I thought was unique. The spinach cheese croissant had the perfect ratio between croissant & filling. LINE LENGTH- I waited about an hour to order then about 5 min for my drink. DRINK- I got the salted caramel latte with cold foam. The drink was a bit bitter for me, maybe because of the salt? I still drank it but it wasn't my fave. The cold foam was excellent though, but it is the type of top with only a straw so I couldn't sip it like other tops. The cost was $7. SERVICE- Cashier was super nice and talking to me about their pastries. I overheard the other baristas talking and laughing so it was a very friendly environment. OVERALL- Do it for the plot once haha, but I wouldn't come back as the drinks are mid and the line is just too long. read more

I got the strawberry matcha latte, and it wasn't the best neither was it the worst. Maybe it was only my drink, but I felt like my drink had more of an artificial strawberry taste. The strawberry flavor overwhelmed the matcha, but more the drink melted--I tasted the matcha. Their matcha by itself is pretty good and I liked their foam they had on top. However, as others have mentioned definitely not worth the $10 price tag. Also, if you're looking to try this place out, I recommend coming during the weekdays around 10 AM - 12 PM / 1-5 PM to avoid long lines. I went around 12 PM right before the lunch rush, and the line wasn't too long and my drink came pretty fast. If you're looking to try the matcha, I recommend just a matcha latte! read more

Service: I went during lunch time on a week day and while there was a line it moved pretty quickly and the employees were nice! Drink Order: I ordered the Signature Salted Carmel Cold Brew. However, they were out of the Carmel syrup so I subbed it for hazelnut. The drink overall was a bit more bitter than expected, so I do regret not ordering one of the sweet pastries. I visited their grand opening on January 30, 2025, and waited about an hour to order and receive my drink--understandable, given it was their first day open to the public. I ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk, and unfortunately, I'd rate it zero stars. It didn't taste like matcha at all. I had to go back and ask for honey, which helped add some flavor, but not much. The small size cost $7.66. My friend ordered the salted pistachio matcha latte with oat milk, which came out to $11 for a small--outrageous. I didn't have high expectations, but for a coffee enthusiast opening a shop, you'd at least expect the drinks to be somewhat decent. read more

It's century city, it's Los Angeles, what do you expect the prices to be? It's a coffee shop opening, why did you expect the lines to be short? There's lines for so many things in LA when there are launches lol and there are literal jokes about coffee shops being pricey. I thought my drinks and pastries were tasty! And the shop was super cute. Sometimes the shops are cute and the drinks aren't that great but this was not the case. read more
