California Chicken Cobb Salad
Allison F.

Loved the California Cobb salad- I got it to go and asked for no tomatoes and this was not followed and could have used some more dressing. Would come back as it was made in time and tasted good.

Mediterranean salad with shrimp

Had not been here in a while. Forgot how good the food is. Tried the Mediterranean salad this time. I remember the sandwiches being good and the dinner being comforting.

I've been coming here a couple times for years now. Each time it has been a pleasant experience. If you are dining in, you can find a table and sit down. I did make reservations, which I'm not sure I needed. Since all the tables were full, luckily they were able to find a table for us. I really wanted to try the restaurant week menu which looked delicious to me. I'm a huge fan of lemon and when I saw this dessert, I knew I had to try it. We also got the Caesar salad, which was very crisp and fresh. I opted for the salmon, and it was delicious! I would totally get it again. My friend has a tri-tip and really enjoyed that as well. The green beans were very tasty too. The lemon tart was my favorite. Refreshing and tangy. Definitely a great deal! The salads are also very good that I've had here as well. Definitely worth a visit. SYOY!

Stopped by for quick lunch meeting. Cute spot with indoor and outdoor seating and a market corner with wine and other beverages. I had the chicken almond sandwich which was good. The sandwich includes choice of protein and bread with lettuce, tomato, onion, and dressing. Then add-on pricing for any additional toppings. Would come back again to try their other menu items.

The food was so amazing. I can't believe it took me so long to try this place. The dessert is amazing as well. I definitely want to try Champagnes for brunch! I've heard good things.

Fried Chicken Sandwich and Sweet Potato Fries

I love this place, I come all of the time for lunch. I either get the Kale Salad --DELICIOUS!!! or the Fried chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. So good! Service is great, everyone is very friendly-shout out to Ulises who is extra attentive and welcoming.

This is my second visit and it was as good as the first. They have an extensive menu while not being intimidating i.e. there is something for everyone. My friends opted for salads, which looked fantastic, while I had the margarita pizza (extra basil). Nice selection of wine and beer, and a shout out to Levendi winery for the tasting.

Nice setting for brunch?

Yes absolutely. Lovely patio. No view tho so if that's what you're looking for at a location in Newport this would not have that.

But then the vibe of the place takes over and I quickly stopped caring. One of the best restaurant musicians was playing. This guy nailed everything he played and was playing pretty much every genre and decade. The entire restaurant was having a great time. Place was packed for brunch but service was very good. I started with their French Onion Soup which was worth the price. One of the best I've had. Per the menu its French 75's recipe. Brunch was ok. Not the best or worst. I had the breakfast burrito and my wife had the omelette. Both good. Portions were large though so we just enjoyed the ambiance while ignoring the awkwardness of our neighboring tables. Cocktails were good. I saw a guy rocking out to the music on his 4th espresso martini so I ordered one of those. It'll give you both an alcohol and caffeine buzz. Can't imagine drinking 4! My wife's fruity cocktail was also good. We both enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back. Just wish I could have scored a water view table!

It took a minute to locate the restaurant and figure out parking, but once we arrived at the door, the experience was first-class from beginning to end. The hostess was charming and welcoming, the staff kept our waters filled and the table spotless, and our server, Juan, was outstanding. His knowledge of the menu, detailed descriptions, and personal recommendations made ordering easy and built our anticipation for every dish. We started by sharing the beet salad and Chicken Tinga Empanadas with the Gringo Killer Sauce. The beet salad was fresh and beautifully balanced, while the empanadas were packed with rich, savory flavor. The Gringo Killer Sauce added a bold kick that made them especially memorable. My wife ordered the wedge salad, my daughter chose the Grilled Octopus Al Pastor, and I had the 8 oz Picanha special. Every dish was exceptional. The octopus was a creative and flavorful take on al pastor, and the Picanha special was perfectly cooked, tender and was an absolute standout. Everything was so impressive that I sent my compliments to the chef and was fortunate enough to meet Chef Jackie personally. Then came dessert. Juan described a peach cobbler special that immediately had my mouth watering, while my daughter ordered the Espresso Crème Brûlée. Juan returned to our table with three plates and spoons and informed me that Chef Jackie has recommended her specialty. I did not argue, Chef knows best. She surprised me by sending out something different: a slice of Baklava Cheesecake accompanied by a scoop of house-made peach cobbler ice cream. Now, I have eaten some outstanding cheesecakes all around the world, but this Baklava Cheesecake was on an entirely different level. It was rich, layered, perfectly textured and flaky, and so unbelievably delicious that I nearly licked the plate clean. The house-made peach cobbler ice cream was equally impressive--light and creamy, yet captured the full peach cobbler flavor. The Espresso Crème Brûlée was also beautifully executed, with a crisp caramelized sugar shell and a deep, smooth coffee-flavored custard. My daughter ate half of hers before turning her attention to the cheesecake, and she does not even like cheesecake. That alone should tell you how special it was. I live three hours away, but I will absolutely be making the drive back. Lemon & Thyme delivers exceptional food, thoughtful hospitality, creative dishes, and the kind of personal service that turns a meal into a lasting memory. This is my new favorite restaurant!!! Do yourself a favor and make the trip to Lemon & Thyme. Ask for Juan, trust Chef Jackie, and do not leave without desert. Chef Jackie, Juan and the rest of the staff, thank you for the amazing experience!!!

It wasn't overly sweet like a lot of brunch spots tend to do. The balance was just right, letting the flavors shine without feeling like dessert for breakfast. The blueberries, maple syrup, and cream brought everything together perfectly. The spicy shrimp pasta was equally impressive. It had a great kick to it, but the spice didn't overpower the dish. You could still taste all the flavors of the pasta, shrimp, and sauce. That's a rare thing because too many places mistake heat for flavor. Great Maple got it right. The restaurant was very busy, which is usually a good sign, but despite the crowd, the service never slipped. Our servers were attentive, friendly, and kept everything moving smoothly. If I had one minor complaint, it's that the popularity means you should expect a wait during peak hours. But after eating here, it's easy to understand why it's packed. Excellent food, attentive service, and a brunch experience that's worth coming back for. Human beings may disagree on politics, sports, and whether pineapple belongs on pizza, but Great Maple serving great food feels like one of the easier things to agree on.

The ambiance and design of this restaurant feels very home-y and welcoming. The entire place had full of life and is very clean. Our server today is Matt and he did an amazing job taking care of us. Very respectful and mindful and was happy to serve us which is a huge plus for me as customer service is also a defining factor for dining in my book. My family and I ordered a variety of dishes however I will be writing based on what I ordered personally / shared with and have eaten. Brew Bears - Cinnamon Toast (4/5): Our server Matt recommended this to me so I decided to order it to try it out. The drink comes in a small bear shape cup and had a soft and fluffy maple syrup + cinnamon foam. The drink is good and not too sweet which is a plus. Only downside is that the drink is fairly small and for $10, I would at least expect it to be in a larger size. Famous Maple Bacon Donuts (5/5): These were delicious! Very soft and fluffy; the maple glaze is sweet and gooey, and the bacon has a nice smoke to it which complimented the sweet maple notes. The donuts were clearly freshly made which we really appreciate. Be careful though as my family and I ordered 3 orders (3 pcs / order) and didn't realize how big each donut is! It is very filling and might make you too full for the other dishes if you normally don't eat a lot. Mac and Cheese (3.5/5): I ordered this alongside both the chili bacon bits and shrimp add-ons. The Mac and cheese came with spiral shaped pasta with a panko crust and white cheese. The overall taste to me is decent; nothing that really stood out to me but it was still good. The amount of shrimp provided vs the cost for the add-on (+$7) wasn't worth it for the small pieces and overall portion. I did also get some fettuccini pasta noodles towards the bottom of the dish which threw me off. Not sure if that's intended or by accident. Parmesan Truffle Fries (5/5): The fries we ordered came in hot and fresh with a side of ketchup. There was ALOT of flavor and you can really taste the truffle. The texture for the fries was nice and crispy to perfection. Overall, we did have a great experience and I do see myself coming back some time in the future. I would probably change up a few orders to try different things out.

For such a special milestone occasion, we expected our family to be able to enjoy a meal together. Instead, our food came out 45 minutes apart, we were a family that waits for everyone to had their food and by the time everyone had their food our sub par food was cold. That is simply unacceptable. Our server, Patrick, was very good and did his best to take care of our group. The problem was clearly with the kitchen. Food arrived extremely late, some dishes were not prepared as ordered, and overall, the flavors were subpar. The waterfront view is nice, but it does not make up for poor kitchen execution and disappointing food--especially for a special celebration. Skip this place. While our favorite one was the beef slider for the classic burger vibe we were both very surprised by how crispy, meaty, yet easy to chew the pork belly slider was. The sea bass was super meaty and fresh and the sauce gave it a very unique twist. Normally we only have refreshing light crudos but this one was a lot oilier and heavier with the chili crisp and serrano peppers. My gf found the dish too spicy but it was just right for me. - Spicy Tuna Tartare (4/5): Super refreshing and loved the chip pairing.
