We went to Champagne's for the first time yesterday and honestly, this place really hits the mark! From the moment you walk in, literally everyone is SO welcoming and friendly. I've never been somewhere where it is so natural and apparent. It makes me want to work there! It must be a combination of inherently good people and also good management. Kudos to you all!! On top of that, service is very efficient, attentive, and so courteous. Not to mention the food. We asked for recommendations and they were spot on. The very best fried chicken ever. We had some food delivered and it arrived quickly for a Thursday night. I forgot to take pictures, but the margarita pizza was pretty good, thin a crunchy crust with the classic simple yet delicious flavor. The fries were a bit of a miss, even the sweet potato fries were very skinny and not that flavorful. The ambiance seems nice and based on other recommendations, it does seems to be a better place for their breakfast/brunch menu. read more

Diana F is extremely rude but outside of that the food was good. she rushed my order with no line behind me (i was getting breakfast for my family would was running a bit behind) and she had an attitude for no reason. regardless i still tipped her and she got my receipt after paying and stared at the reciept. i was confused on what she's checking... whether she got a tip? or if it was approved? not sure if it's cause im a person of color or if she's implying im broke but overall was an unusual out of the norm encounter for ordering food. read more

Francisco is the kind of person who makes you want to come back. Every visit, without fail, he greets you with a genuine smile and brings a level of attentiveness that is rare. He is naturally obliging, accommodating, and serviable -- the kind of person who anticipates what you need before you ask. A special mention to Javi as well, who takes care of me more often and brings that same warmth and care every single time. Together, these two make the experience. No matter how busy it gets, the atmosphere stays pleasant and neither of them is ever too busy to deliver. This morning I asked Francisco for a recommendation and he pointed me to the breakfast burrito. Excellent call. The salsa alongside it deserves its own mention. Ask for extra. The breakfast has a nice variety of options and the coffee is wonderful! It has all the specialty copies but the regular brewed coffee is wonderful. I fell in love with it. Just left from having the best pizza!! Always going with a classic pep pizza, the crust was fluffy, not a thick dough, no greasy, CHEESEEEEEYYYY!!! I've always gone in the morning after church but there's something about sitting on the patio at night that really made my night :) If you ever go, always ask for Ulises! 10/10 best service. We've been coming to Champagne's for years, and the food is always consistently great, but this last visit really stood out thanks to Thomas. He was hands-down one of the best servers we've had here. Attentive without being overbearing, genuinely friendly, and he made sure everything was just right from start to finish. It's rare to come across service that elevates an already solid dining experience, but Thomas absolutely did that. If you're dining here, definitely ask for him. The menu is to be expected from a "deli" (sandwiches, soups, etc), and there is a drink menu. Service is order at the front style, then they bring you food. The owners deserve a huge thank you because it was their generous promotion for educators that finally got me through the doors every day this past week. Now I know first hand why my sister has been a fan. First, their employees are all so kind and personable. All week I have placed a to-go order at the counter an have interacted with various employees. Each person has been helpful and engaging. I'm no foodie, but I highly recommend the Ruben (with pastrami) on toasted rye, their pizzas are delicious with crust done to perfection. I also enjoyed the chopped salad. A hidden gem in Newport Beach. The food is top-quality, but the star of the show for me is pizza. The pizza dough was developed by a Michelin star chef and the quality shows through. There is nothing like this within 15 miles of Newport Beach. The southern fried chicken taste like it came from Atlanta. We come here very often and I've never had a bad meal.
