I'm usually a fair at giving ratings but I'm not going to lie, having dinner here gave me a gassy stomach ache and I kept it pretty clean...eating some meat and veggies no noodles and a tad of rice, it's the quality of the meat ... It's kinda disappointing because I like the taste and our waitress was nice, but I can't expect much from an all you can eat asain food establishment, hence the two stars! I love coming here, the food is great and very tasty! The restaurant is very clean and organized. The waiters/waitresses are not as friendly as the waiters/waitresses at the Beaverton location. The chefs cook everything pretty fast. The only thing that I don't like and noticed is that the buffet table is very wide and many people bend over the food and veggies from the other side of the table and so does their hair. And hair can and probably does get in the food. But I still love coming here but more than likely will be going to the Beaverton location instead. read more

i have been going to the changs in beaverton since i was young, over the years it has gone downhill, yes the food is still delicious but the atmosphere and decor needs some SERIOUS updating... I was so delighted to find that this changs had the same great food but was cleaner, more open and newer looking.. very impressed with this changs.. i will no longer go to the other changs in beaverton. Way better at this tigard location!! The choice is syrup on your ice cream was a definite added bonus! read more

My family loves to eat here. My mom loves to watch the grill chefs especially to one who does a little spin. It's amazing that they don't get burned especially when the flames go shooting up off the grill. Everyone gets what they want. Love it, yum! read more

I'm a regular at Chang's. I like the food because it's good and healthy, and fun to make your own meal essentially. The price is also reasonable. The only thing I don't like is that the staff is often less than friendly. You're more likely to get a scowl than a smile, and they have an annoying habit of trying to give you the smallest, most uncomfortable seating available, even when they have few customers at the time unless you have several people in your party. I like the Beaverton Chang's much better from that standpoint, but this one is closer to me. read more

Hard to mess up Mongolian BBQ since you put what you want to eat in the bowl. This restaurant you take two bowls, one for meat and one for your veggies. Good selection of both. Meal comes with white rice,soup and wraps, AND ice cream for dessert. Very friendly staff, fresh ingredients and clean. read more

Never had a bad experience at this restaurant. Just revisited this changs after not going for about 1 year and the cook still remembers who i am and thanked me for coming in. Food is good as long as you make it that way. Knocked down a star because it can get pretty dirty around the buffet line. I think they should have someone cleaning it more often. read more

We go here when ever in the neighborhood. Staff is friendly, the food is fresh, and the variety of sauces are the best I have seen. We have never been disappointed and it is always a different flavor depending on what I use to add. We like it allot!. Not enough help cleaning tables but they do their best I think . Always have loved Chang's. Fantastic family atmosphere. I have always enjoyed the choose your own ingredients idea. You can make it as large as you want at no further cost. Fish options, plethora of sauce options (yum plum sauce), and great jasmine tea. And it's a plus to watch your meal be cooked on the grill top right in front of you. read more

I really like the variety of meat, sauce and veggies at this place. the price is reasonable for the amount of food you get. the cooks are always pleasant despite how hot and sweaty they are working the huge hot grill. I'm giving them only 4 stars because sometimes during the lunch rush hour, the service can be a bit slow because the servers get slammed and it may take them a while to get you a soda refill, but I would highly recommend this place! read more

The worst. Chefs were nice and did a good job, but the food area was filthy. The waitress was almost non existent and did a terrible job. When the bill came they tried to pull a fast one by over charging for my daughter's dinner; re they charged full adult price when she was supposed to be charged the child's price and it clearly said so on the bill. This place has something for everyone! you pick what you would like in your bowl, such as what meat, veggies and even your sauce and they cook it up for you. I have been to some of their other locations and this is the best by far. My kids even enjoy coming here because they can make their own and I love bringing them because I know they will eat. read more

Came in the other night on a whim not sure what to expect. I was impressed. Attentive wait staff, fresh ingredients, chefs put on a good show. I have rarely if ever been impressed by quality at all you can eat anythings and this place is different. I will be back. Oh and the tea and ice cream are awesome! If you have ever been to Hoo Hut or Mango's Mongolian Grill in the Midwest, this is a complete disappointment. The meat appeared to be thawed which grossed us out, the sauce choices were very limited (vinegar, salt water, soy sauce, garlic and something) there were no teryaki or Kahn(sp?) sauces. When they are cooking your meal the continue spraying it with water, so our food had no flavor because it was completely watered down and I had filled the bowl with sauce. We will not be returning to this restaurant. read more

Endless meat of all kinds, stir fried with veggies noodles or whatever you fancy. dozens and dozens of offers creatives many thousands of possible variations on your meal. Then amazing plumb sauce that you can use to lift up the flavors to an even greater glory. This is my favorite cheap restaurant bar none. Highly reccomend! read more

Great place to go for many occassions. Its affordable, fun, and you get ice cream! This location in particular always has their meats, vegetables, and other toppics all well stocked. The wait is never long, but sometimes I get stuck behind five people. But it always goes by quickly for me, since I throw enough hot oil in my bowl to start a decent flame on the grill. My elderly mom wanted to go here for an early Sunday dinner. Heavy traffic and long delays to get there, hard to turn in across cars backed up to turn left at 99W. Found the handicapped parking, but due to site on steep hill this is a very long long uphill ramp to the front door. Finally made it to the door and looking forward to the grill. Closed 3:00 to 5:00. Total fail. Had to go back down the long ramp, back into traffic, and repeat the whole thing at another restaurant. I suspect they have slightly different buffet setup for dinner vs lunch, but fiddly opening and closing hours are a deal breaker for me. This was not fun. I will not be back. read more

Good food, very good service but the hispanic hostess was very rude towards me I was trying to pay the bill but she Ignore me and helped others behind me. She walked in front of me and stepped on my toes. She didn't say anything but gave me a dirty stare. I complained to the supervisor and said he was sorry for her attitude. I've been eating at Chang's since I was a toddler, I grew up at the one in Portland until this ones inception. I still love it! I get what I want and how I want it, with some entertainment and friendly staff what could be better!? They have had a few staff members for quite a while and those guys are always friendly and very quick and efficient. Most of the wait staff cycles through a lot, but we always get friendly, attentive waiters/waitresses. The place is always clean, and the veggies are always fresh. I love being able to get in, eat, and leave in like 15 minutes. It's great. They have soup (not the best) and wraps/rice to get with your meal. The wraps are great with some plum sauce. I'd eat my shoe if I could put plum sauce on it. My husband and I try to go during lunch hours as it's much cheaper and less crowded, but when we go for dinner it's always nice to see how popular they are. They can host big parties in the back, and the front is quieter for those who just want to have a nice meal. Love this place and all the memories it gives me whenever I eat here (or in Portland), will always be a fan! read more
