What a cute and charming cafe. Stopped in for coffee and croissant. Coffee and ham, egg and cheese croissant were excellent. Would come back here again.

Very adorable ambiance, super girly, social media worthy photo opportunities, and friendly staff. The pot of sea bucktooth tea was amazing and comforting alongside the overpriced sweet treats. The pomegranate and coffee bean mouse desserts were heavenly! Very decadent, and not too sweet. Loved it!

Ukrainian bakery offering authentic delights [Folsom CA] I ventured to Folsom to check out this European Cafe. Actually, it was after seeing the iG post from influencers, #thetasteduo, that made me want to visit. It was almost lunch time when I strolled in so I was more hungry for a starter. Valeria was kind enough to explain the different options. I decided on the Vareniki and chose the potato, bacon & sour cream filling (this was the most common version). It is usually served with Russian sour cream called smetana. So these are traditional Ukrainian Pierogi dumplings and came with 10-pcs. The homemade vareniki was flavorful and delicious. I also ordered the smoothie, they only offered one flavor which was the Harvest Greens. The cafe had three different dining sections and they each had different vibes which I thought was pretty cool! I look forward to returning to try the different desserts! Review #3981

The most amazing lavender latte I've had. It was creamy, frothy, perfectly balanced and oh so pretty! Inviting and charming ambiance and service was friendly.

This place is AMAZING!! I just happened upon it with my daughter, and what a gem. They were so nice and helpful in explaining their menu (there's a lot). My daughter loved the fun decor and photo op spots, but mostly.. the food was incredible. We had the cheese pancakes with sour cream and jam.. I haven't had anything like it.

Thank you, everything was very tasty and beautiful. The staff was very attentive and courteous, and this happens every time we come to this cafe! The pastries are simply gorgeous, everything is fresh, the teas are simply incredibly delicious! And the coffee is served a separate art form worthy of an Oscar

Adorable little cafe in Folsom! They have coffee, desserts, pastries, and other items! I came for the viral fruit desserts (especially mango). In my honest opinion the dessert was expensive $18-23 each. The new trainee mentioned that they're made weekly and kept in the fridge. Uploading some pictures! We also had their hot chocolate and banana latte which was okay. We also tried their ricotta cream cheese crepes. We spent $75 for: Banana latte Hot coco Blueberry Mango Ricotta crepes Overall, won't be returning and it was okay to try. The mango was a half portion and extremely expensive. The puree inside was underwhelming. The blueberry was really good.

This cute cafe is a mixture of European and Ukrainian dishes. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The decor was beautiful, very pink and several IG backgrounds. I thought the food prices were a bit expensive but the coffee drinks are on par with other coffee shops. I ordered the pistachio latte and really loved it. However the Avocado toast was just ok and my friends chicken crepes were ok. However the Ukrainian farmer cakes were unusual but tasty! If I was meeting some friends there are lots of spaces to enjoy a nice conversation. I would return.

Nice coffeeshop. From the exterior, one couldn't guess that this spot's got quite a few corners for colorful photo-ops. It was a quiet Friday morning when we arrived, which meant we had time to ask the lady at the counter about their sweet and savory offerings. We ordered lattes (regular and pistachio) and paired them with a breakfast croissant and a sour cherry tart. Good food, even greater java. It sure was fortuitous that we found such a gem located within a neighborhood Plaza in Folsom.

Do not come here for a sandwich!!! $16.99 for a croissant sandwich that had one piece of bacon and not even enough chicken to cover the cheese. ridiculous.

Sitting inside looking outside. Chicken bacon croissant was DELICIOUS. Pictures only HALF of the sandwich.

AMAZING customer service! The owner is always so sweet and personable. She makes us smile and laugh every time we come in. Today we had the Chicken Bacon Croissant and it was so tasty. The croissant had bacon, chicken, lettuce, sliced tomatoes, sliced cucumber, your choice of cheese (Swiss) and mayo. We love the atmosphere here. There's beautiful flowers everywhere. A fun phone booth that my youngest daughter loves to play in. Lots of great opportunities for photos. We will definitely keep coming back for our special dates.

This cafe is soooo cute, great photo ops, friendly staff, pretty girly romantic flowery vibes, beautiful food... but the taste was eh and the cost was staggering. Glad we went but also wouldn't return because it was so expensive and we didn't care for what we tried compared to its cost. For example, the little cakes pictured were $12 each and were quite bland. We didn't finish any of the food.

If you are an avocado toast lover, stay away from the one offered here! I'd call it an arugula toast - because under a generous serving of arugula I found a thin layer of avocado paste - nothing close to mashed or sliced avocado. A Picture included. I guess arugula serves a purpose. Also, if you want poached eggs, extra charge (understandable), bacon - extra charge. Bacon were bacon crumbs/bits just lake from a bag found in Safeway isle. This is my honest opinion - way too expensive (everything added before tax and tip $18.99) for an average "avocado" toast

A Great Breakfast Stop After a Hike in Auburn! We came here…read morefor breakfast during the week after a hike in Auburn. We had just finished the Lake Clementine/Dam hike and were very hungry afterward, so we headed into town and ended up at Mario's. First of all, Mario's is a very pretty space. I loved the black-and-white aesthetic and the simple but thoughtful décor. There's bar seating, booths, and tables both inside and outside. Parking is plentiful, so that's definitely not an issue. I started with a regular latte, while my cousin ordered a chai latte. My latte was beautiful and served in a very original, deep, low cup that I absolutely loved. It was delicious and just perfect. Unfortunately, the chai latte wasn't really to our liking. It didn't taste much like chai to us--it had a strong cinnamon flavor and a combination of flavors that made it difficult to tell exactly what we were drinking. So, the chai was definitely not our favorite. For breakfast, I ordered what I would call their breakfast sampler, with eggs, bacon, and hash browns, which also came with a portion of French toast. My cousin ordered their Monte Cristo sandwich. My eggs and hash browns were amazing, and there was plenty of bacon! I chose all bacon, and it was thick-cut, smoky, and cooked to perfection. The plates here are HUGE, and the portions are definitely abundant. My cousin's Monte Cristo was their lighter take on the classic. Instead of being deep-fried, their version is dipped in batter and cooked, which makes it a little less heavy. It looked beautiful and had plenty of ingredients inside, but for us, it was just okay. We've definitely had better Monte Cristo sandwiches. Now, the French toast... WOW. This was easily my favorite part of the meal. The bread had this delicious cinnamon-sugar coating on top that took it to another level. Add the soft, fluffy butter and maple syrup, and it was absolutely superb. That French toast alone would bring me back! I also appreciated the nice, cold ice water that was kept at our table throughout the meal. Service was super nice and pretty quick, especially considering how busy they were. I also loved how many options they give you to customize your meal. I could choose between different types of bacon, sausage, or turkey, and my cousin was able to customize her sandwich and ended up choosing cottage cheese to go with a healthier, higher-protein option. They also have sweet potato fries, regular fries, and plenty of other sides that you can substitute depending on what you're looking for. The ambiance was great, everything was clean and well maintained, and even the bathrooms were in good condition. Overall, this was a very good breakfast experience. Not everything was a home run for us, but the service, atmosphere, generous portions, customization options, and especially that French toast made it a place I'd definitely recommend if you're in the area. And after a hike? Even better!

There was plenty of seating on the shady patio, but it was really hot outside, so we opted to wait for a table inside. We had a drink and watched the NBA finals on the TVs (there was no sound so it wasn't noisy). I tried the Mustang Sally cocktail and it was well balanced and delicious! We were seated for dinner pretty quickly. The only problem I had was deciding what to order. The luau shrimp salad? Meatball sub? I finally decided on the lobster mac and cheese. While the portion wasn't large, it was delicious! Creamy and mild with fresh lobster (not fishy) and garlicy breadcrumbs. My husband got the ribeye and was thin but large with great seasoning and veggies. I'm not a big steak fan but I really liked it. We ended up grabbing some beignets to go for the kids, which were really tasty and came with 3 dipping sauces (our favorite was the Berry, although we ended up eating most of them without sauce). The atmosphere was upscale, but very casual, quiet and fun. We saw families with young children, couples on dates, and friends enjoying a meal together. It was the perfect vibe that we were looking for, comfortable, but classy. And the food was high-quality and tasty. We will definitely be back!

While our server was polite, the service was quite slow throughout the meal, despite the restaurant being fairly empty at the time. The service was fantastic from start to finish. We had the chance to chat with Julian himself along with a couple other staff members, and everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast wrap had the perfect balance of scrambled eggs, bacon, seasoned potatoes, avocado, and cheddar cheese. Everything worked together without any one ingredient overpowering the others, and the salsa on the side was a great addition. Honestly, it's one of the best breakfast burritos/wraps I've had. And the croissant... wow. It was absolutely delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the croissant was light, flaky, and buttery, and every bite was packed with flavor. The Nutella crepe was also very good. The crepe itself was perfectly made, though there was a little more Nutella than I personally prefer. Next time I'll probably ask for less, but that's purely a matter of taste. The avocado toast was the only item that didn't quite hit the mark for me. It was good, but the honey flavor dominated the dish and drowned out some of the other ingredients. I'd love to taste a little more balance there. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and genuine hospitality made for a great breakfast. We'll definitely be back, and I'll be dreaming about that croissant until then.

Their staff are so friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant itself is so cozy and charming. I treat myself to this place for breakfast 2-3 times a year, and every time I visit, they seat me quickly and give the best service and consistently great food. I always get and highly suggest Cooter's Country Eggs Benedict. It's Southern biscuits & gravy, but they throw two fried eggs and sausage patties on top of the biscuits before covering it all in gravy and add country fried potatoes on the side. Thankfully, their iced tea is brewed there (none of that awful machine iced tea!), and they serve it in a huge, oversized plastic cup. Best of all, when I was paying my bill, the food server offered to make the tea to go. She got a huge to-go cup and brought it back half-filled with iced tea. I put the rest of what I had in it and was set for the rest of the morning with delicious homemade iced tea! Wonderful service! I've actually been visiting this restaurant since I was a teenager in the early 1980s. My parents used to have breakfast here every Saturday morning. It was still called the Gold Miner Cafè even back then, but different owners, ofc. Everyone in or near Folsom should visit here at least once to see what you're missing! Worse for us since our neighboring table decided to watch something on his phone without headphones... The food looked incredible, but flavor simply wasn't there. The best thing I had was the waffle alone and the gravy. The chicken was dry- obviously fried previously and reheated for the order. The waffle had great flavor and texture. The syrup was thick and of good quality. The Sunnyside up eggs were slightly undercooked with the whites runny which left my 11-year old only having a few bites. The hashbrowns we're not crispy and not well seasoned. My over-easy eggs were cooked perfectly, but the ham steak was also shockingly unseasoned (it wasn't even salty, to my surprise). The biscuit was HUGE and looked incredible but when bitten into immediately turned to mush- it felt like eating dough. If it were cooked just a few minutes longer, it would have been the best thing we ordered. The gravy was the best flavored item. Oh, as well as their homemade raspberry jam. Delicious! In all, I'd recommend very basic foods like the waffles, bacon, and eggs. Everything else was mid and be aware of a super loud, small space.
