When you ask for it to be turned down they don't do anything g but y'all about you. They would rather lose customers and let the employees do shots, as we watched them. We have ordered from this location numerous times in the past, and had good experiences. They are 5 minutes from our house, so should be fast. Tonight we ordered food just before 5pm via and online order. After over an hour and a half wait, I called to get an eta. The person on the phone said it must have gotten mixed up with another street with a similar name. Or maybe it was an online issue. He kindly added a $10 credit to our account and said he would get our order out ASAP. Over another hour later (we are almost at 3 hours now) and we are still waiting. I took my friend here this past weeknd and it was awful. I've been there before with my mother about a few years back and had no issues. I swear something with Covid made people forget how to do their job! Anywho, when my friend and I went it wasn't busy at all. A few at the bar and only a couple sitting by us. For some reason their was only one waitress and he was very rude to us. He never smiled once and gave very sarcastic responses, he took literally forever to even take our order. The menu isn't that big so it didn't take us long to pick what we wanted to eat, but the entire time we were sitting there waiting we could see the waiter at the bar just chatting with people and on his phone. Waisted our damn time when the place wasn't even busy to begin with. Then once we ordered and our pizza came it was tasteless and burnt. Can't walk in and get your order you have to wait for people to be seated first. Got home started in on the pizza the assorted side was fine, however 2 of the slices on the pepperoni side had absolutely NO sauce! a lot of money spent for a cheese sandwich! WOW! What a difference! We used to go here about twice a month pre-Covid. We found the food fantastic, but the service lacking back then. We went there for the first time since lock-down tonight. The staff was great from the moment we walked in until we left. Everyone was hustling in double time. It used to take 15 minutes just to get a server to your table. Tonight we had a total of three servers asking if we had been served yet. There was a young bus-person running picking up dirty dishes as they were emptied. The hostess was running back and forth to the kitchen to pick up to-go orders as well as promptly seating people as room allowed. The food was exceptional, great choice in craft & domestic beer. This has been our families go to for pizza and when prepared correctly to order, it's a good choice. Unfortunately, it has come to pass. The last pizza we ordered was incorrectly made, (BBQ sauce?). We have always ordered the same thing. A large pepperoni, sausage, and green pepper with mild fire sauce cut into squares. Eighty percent of the time they cut wedges, not squares (forgivable). I go here regularly with friends for the lunch buffet. We are probably not going to be returning soon because the last several times we have visited, there was very little pizza available. We usually walk in at 12:30, so I don't think we are coming at the end of the buffet hours. Yesterday we visited at our normal 12:30, and there were 2 pizzas out. One had 1 piece left , the other had about half of a pie. Both looked less than fresh (I'm being polite). There were other buffet offerings, but we had come for the pizza. We kept looking for someone to refresh the pizza, but nobody did. I finally asked the bartender if there was any fresh food coming soon. She said "oh, you want more?" We waited another 10-15 minutes, but finally had a piece of fried chicken (which was good) and left. We always order delivery from Chanticlear. Their pizza and wings are always fresh and delicious, but they really slip on the freshness and quality when ordering their regular menu items. Tonight my buffalo chicken wrap barely had any buffalo sauce on it, and they forgot the ranch. Also, our fries were extremely soggy and greasy (more than you'd expect for delivered fries. We just moved to the area and have ordered Chanticleer a number of times- good pizza but the management is terrible... disappointing! I wanted to be a long-time customer! On one order they delivered our salad without dressing... no big deal, I asked for a credit on my account... which I was given. When I called in, less than a week later, to put in another big order, the credit wasn't on my account and the manager couldn't remember the circumstance so was unwilling to give the credit (what's a salad, like $4?). While the view from the patio seating is the parking lot, I highly recommend their thin crust pizza and friendly down-home service. Inside, it is large and like a sports bar. (I've only ordered take out or sat on the patio) Their thin pizza crust is perfection: flakey, light. They add just enough sauce (not too heavy) and the toppings are always fresh and flavorful. We got to chanticlear at about 5pm and sat ourselves as the sign said. We waited 25 mins before someone took our drink and appetizer order and that was only after a member of our party of 3 went to find a member of wait staff. The 4th person in our party arrived 10 mins later and placed their drink order. After 20mins their drink had not come to the table. I approached the bar to ask if we could get the drink our table was waiting on and our server was taking shots with a customer. I have no problems with people letting loose at work take shots i don't care, but we'd been waiting almost an hour and our food order hadn't been taken and we were waiting on drinks. Tables that had been seated after us had already recieved their food. Our appetizer came after we'd been there for about an hour and 15 mins. Our server came as we were almost done with our appetizer to take our food orders. We opted to not place a food order not wanting to wait another hour. We observed another server also taking shots as another member of our party approached the manager to see if someone could help us out. It was all very unprofessional. I see the positive reviews and am fairly confused. The service was very weak and the food was just mediocre - nothing better than frozen pizza. I want them to do well having heard from others that the owners are very nice, but they have a service issue to address, first and foremost. Our waitress had only two tables to attend. After dropping by the menus and water, she wasn't back for 15 minutes. I ordered a beer, it didn't come with the drinks and she apologized, but didn't deliver it for another ten minutes. There were 4-5 things wrong across our order for four people and we suspect her notes were sloppy. We're not persnickety people. Grew up in farm country. Easy to please, but this place fell down. Ordered a large pizza for delivery. Told it would take up to 75 minutes. We were ok with that. Once that time period passed I called to check on the status of the delivery. I thought my number may have been taken down wrong and the delivery person could have been waiting or left (we live in an apartment and would be meeting the delivery person outside). We were told we were next in the line-up and our order would be going out soon. It would now take another 25 minutes. I asked if the pizza would still be hot and wanted to confirm if they had the correct contact number. Good thing I did. They didn't. And this was after repeating the number to the person who took the number down when the order was placed. The delivery person called when he was almost here--asked where we were located (I did give directions on original call). I told him how to get to our doorway. He says he's 30 seconds away. My husband goes outside immediately. A lot of time passed again. Turns out the driver didn't follow my directions and was waiting someplace else. He also sped by my husband. Anyway it was just a mess. Pizza was cold. Too salty. Small pizza for a large in my opinion. $3.00 delivery charge not worth the service we received tonight. We did call the manager. She offered to send out another pizza or give us a credit. We did not accept either offer since we didn't like the pizza. Would have rather gotten our money back and/or a sincere apology. read more

This is the way pizza is suppose to be!!! As a traveling sales rep I live out of my suitcase and rely on others to feed me 40-50 times a month. I try to eat healthy, but occasionally will spoil myself. These times are getting fewer, because often when spoiling yourself you regret it because of the quality of the food. I splurged on the chef special instead of the healthier choice of the vegetable. No regrets here!!!
