We ordered cocktails ( both were very good), I got the Seafood Strudel (which was very good, had puff pastry & 2 large Shrimp & inside was sea scallops & crab meat and a nice Newburg sauce, accompanied with whipped potatoes & mixed veggies (EXCELLENT), Gf got the Prime NY Sirloin which was cooked perfectly to her liking also accompanied with whipped potatoes & mixed veggies ( I tried a piece of the sirloin, it was DELICIOUS) girlfriend said it was one of the best steaks she ever had! We weren't offered any gratis dessert (which I thought would have been nice especially since I mentioned it when I made our reservation). It was pretty, but not exceptional. My wife had the onon soup. For main courses we had the beet and arugula salads, (the arugula with shrimp), the flounder and the crispy salads. The main reason I cam giving the restaurant 5* was the scallops. These were far from the typical fried scallops. They had a like panko coating, served with succotash, and were quite good, even by Cape Cod standards for scallops. The salads are both also very good. Service was attentive and not intrusive. It is a nice old house and has nice ambiance.

Fin has the charm of a historic home, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The bar is cozy and welcoming, though on the smaller side, so arriving early is a good idea. We were seated upstairs at a corner table, which provided plenty of privacy and made for a wonderfully romantic dining experience in a quaint and intimate setting. Our waitress seemed a little reserved at first but quickly warmed up and became attentive and engaging throughout the evening. Dinner for two, including tip, came in just under $200, putting it on the higher end of the price range, but the quality of the food, cocktails, and atmosphere made it well worth it. Not a heavy batter and it didn't overpower the flavor of the shrimp. The shrimp tacos are not gluten free and they have a minimal amount of gluten-free options available. Most of their sandwiches have a gluten-free roll available for an extra two dollars. If you have a severe gluten allergy/ celiac disease, I probably would not risk most of the menu items. Thankfully, we were also able to order a rice bowl with plain swordfish and had no allergy related side effects afterwards. The kids menu is also great for options for littles while dining here. The view is nice, crowded if you're seated outdoors but the staff is awesome which makes it feel more like you're going to a friends house to eat. I'd come here again for drinks on the patio as their drink menu looked so good. A great stop for an outdoor lunch or quick stop with friends.

A manager(?) came out to reiterate the delay after a hushed discussion among he and 2 servers. They tried again to offer chowder and clam cakes which we again asked to have served all at once. As we stood there we tried to say this was quite odd that we had no priority based on their process. No comments. We did order dinner as had no other options at that point. We did wait for about 20-25 mins. Only 3 of the 4 orders were served together. The 4th dinner came 5 mins later after we asked for it. I think a show of good faith may have been an offer of onion rings for our table or at least an offer of a lemonade or tea for all. Management needs to help their staff manage the live audience a bit better. Hoping next year is better for all customers.
