I've been here a few times and really wanted to like this place but they're making it hard Pros: -the little bakery counter/market in the front is cute -big outdoor area with lots of seating options -the tuna burger and smashburger were both pretty good Cons: -service is mediocre -ordering at the outdoor bar means you need to eat in takeout containers and they don't clear the tables -pizzas are undercooked and overpriced ($30 for a corn pizza!) and you can't order a kids pizza outside which is similar in size but much cheaper -a cosmo or a mudslide (in a plastic cup) will cost you $20 wow They definitely have some work to do read more

I had read glowing reviews of this relatively new restaurant so we took our grown granddaughter to Love Farms yesterday for lunch (we had a reservation at 1:00). We were all very disappointed in our meals. The eggplant on focaccia sandwich was so thinly sliced and crisply fried that it was inedible. My spicy hot chicken sandwich was also terribly overcooked. There was no taste left in the chicken and it was very dry. The Smashburger ordered by our granddaughter was the best option. For the price of these three meals with no drinks was $75. We were seated outside on the upper deck where we could hear each other. Service was slow, and the crowds were overwhelming on this overcast day. Seating inside would have made it difficult to hear other people at our table Families with young children seemed pleased with the playground, but I suspect the long wait to be seated and to get food would have been difficult. read more

It appears the objective of this place is to maximize $$ per plate without regard for food quality or dining experience. 3 kids working the parking lot, but not one front of house manager checking tables or assisting with customers. Felt like an overpriced tourist trap. $24 for a cold undercooked pizza. Salads run around $25 with bland protein and soft drinks orders with refill charges awaits. Love farm is a beautiful spot to stop for lunch! We visited at an off hr on a weekday in July and had no trouble being seated on the deck right away. From the look of the setup I would venture a guess that evenings are delightful & family friendly! I had a most interesting & delicious salad of roasted stone fruit beans & burrata. I loved it so much & will be making a version at home! Farm to table is especially nice during this produce wary summer!! The outside hang out area is wonderful! We went here for 1 drink and watched the kids play. There was live music in the late afternoon and it was wonderful. They have an awesome playspace as well as cornhole and outdoor games. I was told they have farm animals but they were not available at the time we went. We also did not try the food. So so soooooo incredible. WOW. The food here really surprised me a blew me away. The price point is a little higher but it was very much worth it. I had the crispy chicken sandwich with chili as the side. My husband had the pork bahn mi. And my daughter and son ordered the chicken fingers and grilled cheese off the kids menu. Everything came out very quickly and the food was all so fresh and delicious. The space here is like nothing I've been to before. It's so comfortable and tons and tons of space for kids including a Massive fenced in area with a sand pit!! There was a performer on stage doing a great job as well. Ambiance for me is a bit cool. Tables feel wide. Food is exceptional. Definitely a place for a foodie who like to eat unique dishes. Enjoyed all the appetizers we ordered. The cocktails are quite different and tasty. Service is wonderful. The servers are all friendly and seem to know the menu quite well. They are very attentive. Cute little shopping area when you first walk in. Again my only big criticism is the ambiance. Very cold and uninviting although very neat and clean. Obviously it depends on one's taste. The bakery is the hidden gem here and perfect for bringing your kid for breakfast because of the patio and play area. The bakery is top notch - cinnamon roll is a must, pizza bagel is money and affordable for kids lunch, and bagels are massive. The hack is to get it to go and eat on the comfy lawn chairs next to the sandy play area while the kids play. They do offer cold brew and drip coffee but no espresso drinks. Parking becomes challenging if you get there later though so go early! read more

We came here with friends and had an amazing time sitting out on the lawn with their adirondack chairs. This is fantastic if you have kids and want them to play while also enjoying some live music and good food. The pizzas were all phenomenal, and the mocktails and lemonades were delicious.. everything was a bit pricey but we enjoyed the environment and that the kids were having fun for hours. Went fora late lunch on Saturday. It was excellent. The drinks were perfect and refreshing. Our server was helpful and friendly. It has a great atmosphere. Two had traditional breakfast. This was my first visit to Love Farms, friends had raved about it so I had to try it. The restaurant is really good looking, and the artwork is great. The food is expensive for what you get. I ordered an eggs Benedict with the mushrooms and spinach. One of the eggs was cooked through not poached, the second egg was almost cooked through. Eggs Benedict requires poached eggs. And the mushrooms were tough and stringy and had to be cut with a knife before I could eat them. My friend did rave about the sausage gravy and biscuits. Service was spotty. Our waitress was very nice, but we all ordered coffee and she brought two creamers for three people and we all wanted cream, so there wasn't enough to go around. We had to ask for more cream and then she brought one other tiny small creamer. It felt stingy. And we never got a warm-up offer on our coffee so we got one cup. That's it. She was quick to clear our plates when we finished. $80 for three women to have a breakfast plate, coffee, and no alcohol. We were there midday, so it wasn't very crowded, and that was nice. Overall, I would give them another chance because I am an optimist. read more

Not only was the food delicious (I had the yogurt parfait and lobster benny with a stunning Bloody Mary), but the service was the absolute best we had on the Cape in 4 days. The young lady in the shop was so kind and went out of her way to show me (literally, like took me on a tour just because I asked a question) of the adorable chill area they had out back and explain to me the nighttime entertainment and experience they have. Great space, good help, very nice outdoor space and entertainment, but the food is overpriced and is horrible. The menu does not look anything like the menu that is posted on the internet. My advice is stick to the overpriced pizza or stay home. Seven of us went for dinner including two children. Chicken fingers were hard as rocks and overcooked (the children would not eat them and stuck to french fries). Fish and chips is Pollock, but is priced as if it was fresh haddock. I believe the Pollock was previously frozen. On another note, no animals and the farmyard is closed. This is not the Pelham House (Sister restaurant), although the food is priced as if it is. We will not be back for Dining but possibly might return for a drink if the entertainment interests us. read more

I expect the cold weather and the prospect of cold shuttles to and from the old Christmas Tree Shop for satellite parking made some rethink heading out this morning. Eggplant app was mushy and bitter. The only way we could get through our fried fish and sea bass dishes was to put ketchup on everything. Nothing was seasoned. The fries were the most edible item, and they weren't great. Corn fritters were mushy, distasteful and left me with an aftertaste. Truly outstanding locally sourced food. You can buy local eggs and produce as well as their freshly baked pastries on your way out. I recommend going for brunch, where they have a wide selection of great dishes. My younger kid had the creme brulee french toast and said it was one the top five dishes she'd ever eaten. My older kit had the hot chicken sandwich and loved it, but she loved the margarita pizza we'd ordered for the table. I have multiple, complicated food allergies, so I was delighted that the menu clearly identified foods that were dairy-free, gluten-free, and nut-free (I'm allergic to all three). I ordered the eggplant appetizer without the yogurt sauce, and they kindly provided me with a sliced-up cauliflower pizza crust to eat the eggplant on. Note, however, that the pizza crust cooked without sauce is VERY hard in the center and difficult to eat. This was fine with the eggplant but quite disappointing when used as bread for the veggie breakfast sandwich when we went back with my husband. I had to scrape the contents of the sandwich off because it was just too hard to bite through. The veggies were also underseasoned. Everyone else's breakfasts were fabulous. Went in around 5pm with a large group--8 adults and 5 children. Before arriving, we called to give a heads-up, as we all understand that large groups can be challenging to seat. However, despite that, there was zero effort to accommodate us. We were told there would be a 35-minute wait. About an hour and a half later, we were met with rudeness and no real attempt to seat us. We were told there was only one available seating spot, and that a table was "lingering," preventing us from sitting--apparently because a reservation was coming in for that area. As a result, we kept waiting while our position on the list was continuously moved back with no effort to resolve the situation. If they had made any attempt to help--such as seating us in another area, or offering to split our group into two--we would have been willing to adjust. We even offered the idea of separating into two groups, but nothing was done. The main hostess was somewhat polite, but the woman standing next to her was extremely rude and cold. Given the lack of accommodation and how we were treated, we would not recommend this place. read more

The staff are great and the space is very nice. Unfortunately, the food lags far behind. While they seem to use quality ingredients, the dishes are completely flavorless and poorly executed. The green salad was barely dressed and the chicken add on was a sad looking chunk of boiled chicken breast with no seasoning at all. It looked like something you'd expect in a high school cafeteria or maybe prison. The "ceviche" was more a cucumber salad than a ceviche. The small amount of sea bream appeared to have been ripped into small pieces rather than cut with a knife. I could go on, but suffice to say the cooking really doesn't justify the prices. We had a party in the Harvest Room last night. It was absolutely fabulous! There were about 45 people there and we had not only the room but an outside private patio area with high top tables and a very comfortable sofa, our own bar,and corn hole game for the kids! The food was great! Service was outstanding , so friendly and top notch! We did not want the night to end as everyone was so enjoying themselves. (Update: Y'all I was so peeved with my experience eating here that I wrote a very rushed review. Only fair to provide more detailed feedback which I've included below). I have no love for Love Farms. I do have lots of questions. First and foremost, am I eating at the same restaurant as some of these other reviewers who are leaving more than 1-star? This is absolutely the most confusing establishment I have dined in ... ever? For these prices, I expect quality and care, but from the menu to the decor to the service - there is no clear identity and no soul. Is it a sports bar, farm stand, restaurant, summer camp? It feels like the owners are trying to appease everyone and in doing so, lost their focus on every level, especially the food. The Chicken Milanese was rock hard with an overly dry sauce. The "Crispy" Pork Belly Chop was NOT crispy at all and undercooked. It was presented on top of white rice, shredded pork, and a root vegetable covered in brown sauce so looked like slop from a mess hall. Want to take a guess if the "Crispy" caper that came with the swordfish was crispy (hint: no and it was flavorless)? The sides we ordered had appealing descriptions, but upon arrival were mostly ingredients thrown together with zero cohesion. Ingredients that don't speak to each other is pretty emblematic of the whole experience. Nothing spoke to each other and this place did not speak to me.
