Overall, i would give this place 4 stars. First, they have great sandwiches especially the Philly Cheese steak. More importantly, their fries are awesome...almost as good as Mary's over at Ranch 99! ;) The only real issue I have with this location is the seating they have to share with the other businesses. You get what you pay for here. it's a quick place to grab lunch. from time to time they have new things added on to their menu either seasonally, temporarily or even permanent. switching up their menu is nice because it keeps the menu selection interesting. their lemonade is so refreshing and addicting. i always come here for specifically their fries, they're my favorite! service is quick and the quality of their food is always a five star. highly recommend this place for sub sandwiches and fries! read more

Charley's Grilled Subs is located in the Pearlridge Phase I (Uptown) Food Court. If you're a fan of hot subs or Philly Cheesesteaks, you may want to hit this place up. The sandwiches aren't the cheapest BUT they're made-to-order, and not to mention, pretty tasty. Plus, there are always samples to help the curious and indecisive. We had the Turkey Cheddar Melt to share, which we both really liked. The veggies were fresh and crisp; the turkey was hot; and the bread held everything nicely. We found their strawberry lemonade to be on the sweeter side, so we asked for extra ice and some water until it was perfect. :) Service was okay. Nothing spectacular or horrible. If in the area, I would definitely fork out some dough for another pretty good sub from Charley's. read more

I grew up in New Jersey across from Philadelphia so I've had a lot of Philly cheese steak sandwiches back in the day. Since leaving that part of the world I tried a lot of "Philly Cheese Steak" but none has ever come close to what I remember. Until Charlie's. These guys have nailed it. There are really only 3 ingredients needed to make a great cheesesteak; the steak, the roll, and the cheese. The meat has to be thin, lean, and chopped on the grill during cooking. The roll has to be soft but toothy. And the cheese has to be the crappy, but oh so tasty, Velveta like "cheese substance", And Charley's has hit the right note on all three. If you try one, do yourself a favor and 86 the lettuce, tomato, and mayo. It doesn't belong on a Philly Cheese Steak. Maybe the green pepper and onion if you are so inclined. Otherwise go authentic, steak, roll, and cheese. It doesn't get any better. read more

My husband loves this place. I think its okay but they have some pretty bomb strawberry lemonade. They currently have a kiwi lemonade that is pretty good, but its REALLY sweet. I tried their breakfast sandwiches and it's good, but nothing special that I couldn't make at home. But its a lot better than getting those greasy breakfast biscuits from other places. Their phillys are usually pretty good, but I have been noticing a trend with the meat being on the skimpy side. Hope this is not going to become a norm. All in all, I am sure to come back as this is my husbands favorite place. read more

I LOVE Charley's! I've been coming here ever since they opened... yummy philly subs!! I always get the bacon 3 cheesesteak as does my BF... steak, provolone, swiss, and cheddar cheese with 2 strips of bacon, lettuce, tomato, and I omit the mayo on a toasted sub. We always share gourmet fries (cheddar, bacom, and ranch) The staff is nice here and the food is always made to order. You watch them cook your food which I like! They used to accept cash only... but they take plastic nice... so 5 stars for that! read more

This location is a food court kiosk, that being said my normal review methods do not apply since Charley's is not responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining areas. My experience here was great, the staff is very friendly and well practiced, I didn't wait too long for my food and when I got it it was great. A good visit. Short, sweet and done. I grew up eating buffalo chicken sandwiches from Charleys on the military base in Alaska, so I'm always satisfied when I can have one. It's not like they're anything particularly special, but they're not bad. I like the way the hot sauce soaks into the bread. I like the way the chicken and veggies (only onions at this location...sometimes it'll have green peppers and mushrooms too) are hot and saucy. I like that they have malt vinegar to put on your fries. If you're in a fatty mood the bacon cheddar fries are great too! All in all, if I'm craving a sandwich from my youth, I wasn't turned off to going here again. Wally and I decided to try out Charley's Grilled Subs in Pearl Ridge food court. The sandwiches are fabulous, Wally had the Philly Cheesesteak, which he said was sensational and I had the pizza sub....it was ok. What I absolutely suggest to a first timer is the Cheesy bacon fries. There isn't anything healthy about this place so if you're counting calories forget it. I would definitely go again, but when I'm ready to spend $22 for two. I've been twice and haven't had a complaint. Both times I got their ultimate fries and today I tried their bacon , 3 cheese ,steak stub. It was pretty tasty. Since this was my first cheese steak I have ever eaten at Charley's, I think it tastes good in it's own way. The menu has enough choices on it that the customer will not take long ordering or thinking what are they going to order; Charley's offer a good combos, that includes the cheese steak, fries, and a medium drink. The customer service is pretty okay in my opinion. In this establishment, located at Pearlridge Uptown at the Food Court, there are about 3-4 employees I have seen working at the same shift, which gives a good cooperation between the workers and an okay service. The food does not take long to cook and for the customer to get it, about 5-15 minutes; while waiting, the customer can sit anywhere at the food court. Since it is a food court, there are other food establishments there that has limited seating. I have experienced the first time I have ordered here and I had to take my food home, I went at about lunchtime. I still had to go buy other things so I had to carry it with me so I was kind of annoyed. If you want a quality service and food but does not mind the limited seating or the 'food court buzz', Charley's would be a great place to eat. If you are a parent, it is a good idea not to bring your kids around lunchtime because the food court gets full and people usually walks in and out of the court. read more
