Great early dinner this evening. We got the papaya salad (mild but was still a bit spicy) and it was delicious! That dressing is so tangy sweet. I definitely made sure no drop was wasted. Very refreshing. The duck curry was unique with grapes, eggplant and pineapple. We added a bowl of rice and roti. I love that it is crispy roti! Love coconut curries and this one was great. Also got the pad Thai with tiger prawns. Solid and good. Nothing super special about it so I would try a different main next time but still was delicious. Got the $5 happy hour milk tea and my husband got a happy hour beer. Cool to try Thai beers. Didn't have room for dessert but would love to grab one next time - I'll just need to leave room. Beautiful restaurant and great space. Would make a great date night.

A more upscale version of the original Zab Bite and almost as good. Like the original, they have a vegetarian/vegan menu, but it's not as large or varied as the original. Regardless, we ordered three dishes: -Tofu red curry -- we asked for this "very spicy", but I'd say it was medium at most. Despite that, the curry was rich and flavourful, coming with plenty of tofu, cherry tomatoes, and some pineapple. -Tofu with mixed veggies. This was a milder dish but was flavoured well with garlic and a soy-like brown sauce. Nice assortment of veggies, plenty of tofu. Good dish. -Holy basil tofu. This came with eggplant, plenty of basil, plenty of tofu, lots of garlic and chilis, and generally was balanced extremely well. This was the spiciest of the dishes despite only requesting this was one "spicy". Overall, tasty good, reasonable value (compared to Thai restaurants in Vancouver, especially more upscale ones). Not the most scintillating Thai food in town (go to Kin Kao for that), but pretty solid execution. Recommended.

Food is good overall and worthy to try, but waitress' attitude is rude. Chicken wings and Hor Mok Seafood are good. Tom Yam and Roasted Duck Red Curry are not as good as expected.

Nicely decorated venue. The dinner menu was well curated and balanced. The food was traditionally Thai and well crafted. We will be back

The chicken satay was definitely very good, flavorful and tender. The peanut sauce goes very well with the meat. Downside was the calamari, the pieces are quite big which make it not as crispy as it would be. Our favorite was the salmon penang curry. the coconut flavor of the curry together with the sweetness make it a very well balanced item. it went very well with the jasmine rice. We also tried the mango sticky rice. the warm sticky rice went perfectly well with the sweetness of the mango. very well made I would love to visit again to try other items on the list which caught my eyes

Every time I come, I can feel the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff. From seating to ordering, and then to the care during the meal, everything is done with great finesse, making me feel comfortable and at ease. The unique politeness and meticulousness of Japanese service are naturally reflected here. The food is also a reason I want to come back. Whether it's the freshness of the ingredients, the presentation, or the taste, you can feel the attention to detail. Japanese cuisine emphasizes the quality of the ingredients themselves, and Miku presents this refinement beautifully. Every dish is pleasing to the eye and has a layered flavor. I also love the ambiance. The overall design is simple, elegant, and has a very comfortable Japanese aesthetic. The lighting, seating, and spatial layout all create a relaxing atmosphere without feeling overly decorated; instead, they have a high-quality feel. As for the atmosphere, I think it's what makes this place so special. Elegant and quiet, yet not too formal, it's suitable for dates or enjoying a good meal with friends. Sitting there slowly eating and chatting makes the whole dining experience particularly comfortable. After several visits, I still feel that Miku is a restaurant worth returning to again and again. It's not just because of any one dish, but because the service, cuisine, environment, and atmosphere combine to create a very pleasant experience every time I come.

The food was a bit pricey, but the dishes were very authentic and each tasted delicious in its own way. Many dishes come with a sauce (depending on what you order) and has big portions, so I'd recommend doing family style so that you can try more dishes. Would definitely come back again if I'm ever craving Vietnamese/Cambodian food in Vancouver! Service: Service was a bit slow - we didn't receive our drinks until we were halfway done eating, even though we ordered in the beginning before we ordered the food. It was a bit chaotic calling a server if you have any questions or want to change your order, since there's no one server assigned to each table. Each dish was brought out by different waiters/servers, so it wasn't the most organized since it takes a while to get any worker's attention. Ambiance: Arrived around 11am and it was pretty crowded/full. There was a short line but the wait wasn't long. Got seated within 10-15 minutes.

For a small party we only could really order the trifecta: chicken wings, butter beef and bo luc lac. Loved the chicken wings and butter beef. They're as good as everyone says they are and I can understand why they're popular dishes to order. The Bo luc lac was just ok for me. I've had better. Worth trying at least once. Don't think I'd wait 1-2 hours to eat here though.

The restaurant is located on a busy street and is unassuming/easy to miss so I'm glad my boyfriend pointed it out for us to try with some friends. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share. They all arrived relatively quickly and my favourites were the pad thai and the khao soi. The pad thai was fragrant and on the sweeter side which I like. I also liked the fresh raw bean sprouts on the side. The khao soi was curry noodles with tender beef and crispy egg noodles. The curry was very flavourful with a hint of heat and sweetness. This was also my first time trying curry noodles at a Thai restaurant. The green curry was filled with bamboo shoots, peppers, and a good amount of chicken. The flavour from the bamboo shoots really comes through as well. For the crab fried rice, it came with a spicy sauce and pickled vegetables. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough to go around so I didn't get a chance to get a good taste of it with the rice. However, I scooped some curry sauce from the khao soi onto the crab friend rice and it was delicious! Finally, we tried the mango sticky rice and my goodness, it was so pretty! The rice was warm and sweet which paired beautifully with the slightly tart mango. I'll definitely have to come back to have more of the khao soi noodles!
