Pizza is so fresh, airy and crispy. Baked clams are delicious little necks with an amazing dipping sauce. Highly recommend and will be back! Note: they don't take reservations and at peak times due to limited tables can experience a wait time

So I was slightly disappointed with this place to be honest. We got multiple apps, a pasta, and pizza, with everything being rather mediocre. The pizza dough was cooked very well and tasted good, but the top was soupy and a little dough like. Im assuming the brick oven temperature was off, since the top doesnt fully cook when that happens. Felt like this should not occur at a brick oven pizza spot. The baked clams were very good and the best part of the meal. Their meatballs were average. We got the money bag pasta to split which I thought was overrated. The sauce was good, the tortellini was slightly under cooked and the shrimp added a very odd mixture to the taste. I'd Def say the shrimp is unnecessary and doesnt go. Service was decent, not bad, not amazing. The resturant itself is a decent size and has all table and chair seating. Bar area looks nice and they do have a nice cocktail menu. Overall, rather average spot.

Charred is always a fantastic dining experience every time we visit. On our latest trip, we ordered the stuffed rigatoni, burrata ravioli, veal Milanese, and chicken parmesan. Each dish was fresh and delicious. I just wish they would take reservations but their amazing food is worth the wait!

This place is amazing! Service is great and friendly. Restaurant is beautiful, clean and orderly, but the pizza is outrageous. I ordered the mortadella pie and I have to tell you as a native Italian that I've never eaten a pizza so unique and delicious is my freaking life. Not cheap and deservedly so- every penny is very well spent here. New customer for life.

Not a huge fan of this place. I wanted to love it, I really did, but I wasn't impressed. It took a while for a waitress to come and greet us and the drinks were poorly made. We had the meatballs to start and they were actually good. I had the chicken parm and the chicken was really thick. Too thick for comfort- I was afraid of getting a weird bite and I definitely did. The sauce on the chicken parm was good but the pasta was overdone. My friend had the broccoli raab pizza and she liked it. I won't be back

I stopped into corner restaurant- Charred Brick Oven, because American Waffle house was closed as of 3pm. **o I watched as cups were baked in circular - electric/flame oven for gnocchi and cheese. I ordered one. I also ordered a Chicken dish. Server was nice and took time to answer my questions about the oven. I found the two items very expensive. Food tasted good and there was ample amounts, too much for me. .So, a nice Italian Restaurant in Massapequa off of Merrick Road. This said, I am partial; as I guess my mouth was in the mood for Waffles- I do not expect to be going soon.

I've wanted to check out Charred ever since they opened in Seaford. So far, in the last month, I've dined here twice. Both times, I was very happy with the food. The first time, I had the Chicken Parmigiana which came with Rigatoni. It was cooked perfectly and the sauce was really good. And the portion was really big. The second time, I had the Shrimp Oreganata. I've never had this dish before, but it sounded good so I decided to try it. It definitely was the right choice! The shrimp, white wine sauce, breadcrumbs was such a good mix. I definitely recommend it. I had a slice of the Veggie Italiana pizza that my friends ordered and I thought it was one of the better pizzas in the area. I'm always in the mood for Italian food, so I will definitely be back!

This pizza should have been a contender! What we experienced was a great waitress and a perfectly cooked Fritto Misto during our visit. Charred Brick Oven is one of Newsdays top pizzas for 2022. I had this place bookmarked for a while, I want to try some of the outrageous sounding pizza and fate had us in the area. I thought I'd grab a pizza to go but I see the oven front and center, let me drink a cold one on tap and whatever we don't eat then we'll take home. We're seated in a fancy pizza spot with checkered tablecloths. There is a bar to the right side to have a beer, I'm not sure if they do slices here. The Fritto Misto comes out first. Cooked perfectly and not too greasy, this was a great starter. The sauce that came on the side was also very flavorful. So far so good. We ordered the Grandma pizza because we wanted to try the best of what Charred Brick Oven has to offer. The pizza comes to the table. The crust isn't burnt but well done. The ingredients are all high quality, from the sauce to the cheese, this pizza is ready to slay dragons. So why three stars?? The dough was overworked and made the gluten tighten up. The crust was really hard to bite through. I tried to use a knife to cut the pizza into bite size pieces and it was hard to do. I'm not going to write off this spot, my first time here and they had technical difficulties on Sunday.

Here in lies the glaring problem... I was cheated of $500 by the owner Michael. The money agreed on for the party was counted twice by each mother. I gave my share to Michael and he counted it. Our business was finished. Or so I thought... A few minutes later Micheal comes out to the parking lot as we were about to leave and he tells me I shorted him $500!!! How could that be? The money was counted out many times by both of us!!! There was no written contract that showed my deposit; only a copy of the party plans. My plan was circled for the price per person. My deposit was not deducted from the total amount owed. If you read comments from the past about this owner; it's not the first time he has used this tactic. I'm praying for Michael!

We were in a section that included a live singer and made for great ambiance. By 7:30, every table was filled. For restaurant week, I chose the 4 blue point oysters, the 6oz filet mignon and the cheesecake. The oysters were great and subtly briny and the filet was cooked perfectly (though the potato and vegetable side were pretty underwhelming). The cheesecake was considered Italian and was very lumpy, grainy and I did not like that style. We also ordered the brussel sprouts, grilled octopus and creamed spinach. The brussel sprouts were the highlight of the meal - highly recommend!! The grilled octopus was cooked perfectly The creamed spinach was a tad salty but yummy They also half bottles of wine which was a happy medium for my party My sister got the mussels, lamb shank and tiramisu as her restaurant week choices. The lamb shank was an incredible portion and so flavorful. The tiramisu was the right choice Our waiter was fantastic The wait time for our food was a little long, but I think they were extremely busy and we didn't mind IG/bernmarksthespot

Our waitress made us feel completely comfortable we were laughing, having side conversations, and genuinely enjoying ourselves all night. By the end of the evening, she even said, "Goodnight, love you!" and quickly laughed saying she didn't mean to say it. That pretty much summed up the vibe of the night friendly, relaxed, and memorable. The food was excellent from start to finish. I had the Caesar salad appetizer, which was very good, and my sister had the calamari, which she said was excellent. For our entrées, we both ordered the chicken parmesan with alavaca sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. To finish the night, we shared the crème brûlée for dessert, and it was the perfect treat. The portion is definitely big enough for two people, so I wouldn't recommend ordering one per person. The location is beautiful and right by the water true to the restaurant's name. The only small thing to note is the parking. There are two parking lots, and the first one is definitely the better option. The second lot leads closer to the waterfront entrance and can feel a little tight and snug when parking. Overall, we had an amazing time and would absolutely go back.
