This was my first time here and I found them on Yelp. I was pleasantly surprised with the service. They were friendly and knowledgeable. My repair was for a serpentine belt and Pep Boys wanted 260.00 for the repair. They only charged me 75.00 and I bought my own belt. I started out going to Chase after I got angry that my tires from Costco were waring poorly, even with frequent tire rotations. That voided my warantee. I asked the tech. at Costco where he took his car, and he refered me to Chase. Javier and Chris take their time and explain what the problem is, and show me on the car what is broken or needs repairs. Very fair price, especially considering that they are fixing another mechanics mistake!! I would have saved even more money had I taken it to Chase in the first place!! They are a family owned business, and are down to earth people. They are located behind a car wash, and have low visability, but that helps to keep their costs down. They are always glad to work with their customers to meet their individual needs, and promptly admit when they were wrong on an estament making the appropriate adjustments when the parts come in less than expexted. I discovered Javier and his business Chase Auto Tech Repair years ago. I have been taking our vehicles to him for more than 5-years. I find him to be consistent in his follow-up, diagnosis and prognosis of needed repairs. He has worked on our Honda, Lexus and both of our Chevy Trucks. Before I met Javier, I was a believer in taking your vehicles to a mechanic that specializes in a specific brand of car... but he has changed my mind as he is competent in his diagnostic while still being lean in his pricing compared to those specialized mechanics. Very professional and polite customer service. Took my car here after I got new tires for an alignment because I had a pull to the right. Pretty fast alignment job maybe 30-45 mins, I thought everything was cool but after a few minutes I noticed it seems to pull to the left a little. Not sure what's up but didn't have time to take it back and now a couple weeks have passed and I don't want to be charged again. Not sure how the test driver didn't notice the pull to the left. Hopefully my warranty on the tires isn't voided out from irregular wear. Next time I get my tires rotated and balanced I'll come back to change this review to either 1 or 5 depending on if I have irregular tire wear. I am an owner of a small plumbing business and when I have a vehicle down it costs me money. Javier and his crew have always been polite,efficient and are really good at explaining the problem. No scams or up sells. I don't even get a quote until they are all ready working on the vehicle. That's how much I trust these guys. Recently I had them service one of my rigs, (maybe the 10th service visit if not more) and as usual the job was completed in a timely manner. So far not one issue with any of the trucks they have repaired for me over the years including my personal family van. They are pretty backed up these days it seems but that's for good reason. Jesus and Chris both had great customer service as well as really good quality work. I had them do my back brakes on my truck and their auto techs were efficient and had me in and out by lunch. A couple years ago, after moving from Riverside, CA back to my home state, on my next tune up I found cheap, low grade spark plugs in my car that looked 100 years old. Some had no spark left. I had Chase do my last tune ups on a regular and responsible maintainence schedule. I paid for new expensive premium plugs. Where did they go? I can only assume Chase was responsible for the scam. read more

A little over a year ago I needed work done on my Van. I had been reamed by Goodyear several times paying them thousands I believe were overcharges. America's Tires told me to try Chase so I did. The Owner (or Boss) was friendly open and honest. He didnt try to get me to have extra work done and only did the required repair. the cost was a fraction of what Goodyear seemed to charge me everytime I walked in. He explained to me what was needed and cost. He told me if there were other issues and if they could wait or not. Goodyear always gave heavy push to do other repairs that could wait. I have returned to Chase .several times each time being treated fair and not gouged. They do the work required stand by it and work with you if needed. This is how all businesses should run not just Auto repair. They put customers first and I have recommended them to all my friends and family. Need . went to chase to get a change on my tire and after the repair there was a problem with my break lights. they wanted to charge me 89 bucks again just to look at the problem. i went to mike's auto shop at sunnymead and got it fixed there for $20 bucks! now i know where the better shop to go to is. read more
