This lounge is amazing! When I arrived to the airport I went straight to the lounge. They check you in before you enter, and unfortunately there was a 30 minute wait. They took down my number and said I would be alerted via text once it was time for me to return and enter. I went to a nearby bar to wait. I finally received a text and returned to the lounge. Upon entry, there is an elevator that takes you down to the lounge. There, you have to check in again. Once I was finally finished checking in, I found a table and set my things down and order a drink using the QR code and mobile ordering. I also picked up some food from the buffet. They had a beautiful selection of food. They also had food that you could order including burgers, salmon, etc. There was a waitress servicing my section. She was so kind and helpful. They have an upstairs and downstairs section for seating so you will be able to find a place to lounge. They also have a spa where you can get a massage, sleep pod where you could take a nap, and arcade and section for kids and so much more! Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to partake in any of the activities, but the drink and food that I had, the clean bathroom, beautifully structured atmosphere, charging ports, and amazing WiFi definitely satisfied the little time I had! I cannot wait to return and try other Chase Sapphire lounges.

There is a huge difference between the lounge during busy and not busy times. The burger was so so, and the lounge was so busy they had to implement a waitlist. However, it seems the waitlist was applied selectively. Some people were let in before the 3 hour window. I think the best thing about the Sapphire lounges are the drinks and the servers. Amazing how no matter how busy the lounge is, the servers all come out with an exuberant joyous energy and serve you with a smile!

First of all, it's huge. There are 2 floors of seating, ranging from couches, tables, booths, or private work desks. The (many) staff are extremely attentive, friendly, and service is very quick (my online drink order arrived in less than 5 minutes). In addition to the buffet of pre-plated dishes, you can also scan a QR code on your table to order a la carte menu items or drinks from the bar... I'll review specific items later for those interested. There was no wait when I visited on a Monday at 11am, and the lounge was not too crowded. The Sapphire Lounge IS literally right next door to the Centurion Lounge (lol), so perhaps that helps diffuse congestion in both lounges. There are also facials available!! You'd have to arrive to the lounge at least 2 hours before the flight to get one, though... when I was there, the wait was 1.5 hours + 30 minute service... and you cannot sign up for your facial reservation (even online) until you are physically at the airport; the site checks your location to enable online reservations. There were a lot of cute little "New York" touches, such as Apotheke toiletries in the bathrooms, which are made by a Brooklyn-based company. The bar also had some New York spirits and themed drinks. I used my 1x annual entry from Amex Priority Pass... unclear if you're allowed a guest pass through PP, but I would doubt it. I used my pass last year in the Boston location, which was just as nice but not as big. Now, food/bev review... I ordered their signature cocktail, where the menu has the option of (1) vodka, (2) gin, or (3) non-alcoholic. I got the non-alcoholic version and it was so good. The made-to-order options are pretty limited... mostly, it's burgers, dietary modifications, and kid's menu. The Boston location did seem to have a larger selection in their MTO menu. From the plated snack buffet, the Pumpkin Muhammara was easily the best one I tried. I also really liked the caprese, but I could not finish the honey pistachio grilled cheese (kinda tough bread) or the arugula beet salad (pretty sure there was no dressing on it, and when I asked for some dressing, the kitchen staff seemed unclear if they even had it). I still cannot believe the lounge has refrigerators with cans that people can take. Hopefully, people don't get greedy and start taking a bunch of cans or I bet that will go away, but I was excited to have 1 of the Poppi prebiotic sodas, which I've seen for a while but never tried. In all, I highly recommend a visit to the LGA Sapphire lounge. If there was a Houston location, I'd even consider getting Sapphire Reserve card in addition to my Amex Platinum. Enjoy!

Stopped in here, 7p for an international flight. I had resolved myself to some straight liquor but just wanted to see if the bartender could make a mezcal Manhattan. To my amazement, this dread, Paul, proceeded to put on a routine worthy of Cocktail, the movie, and a drink that would rival, if not surpass, a $30 drink at a NYC steakhouse. The buffet is fresh and food is varied as you would expect an an international terminal. Im going to try and sneak back in on the way back.

A tad busy for my liking but it usually has more space then the Centurion Lounge and they always have interesting drinks.

We jumped over to the bar right beside and drank some girly drinks before getting the notification our table was ready. As with nearly every establishment in NYC, it is very close quarters in paradise lost. We stood at a table while waiting for seats at the bar to become available. Which, we didn't mind. I could see how this might be a little harder to get a seat for a bigger group if you aren't there before 6. It seemed that once a group got a big table, they camped out. The drinks were strong and creative. Friendly bartenders, good music, and yummy options for bar snacks. Also, the bathroom is a nice touch. Given the hell theming for the bar, the bathroom is a 180 and while using the Lou, you can listen to the bible being recited. Theres also a spooky surprise if you press the button in the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, it is at the bottom of some decently narrow stairs. So, try and stay sober enough for stairs or you may fall. Go to this bar. You will have fun.

We wanted to have after-dinner cocktails in a chill space, so we searched on our phones & saw Paradise Lost address via Google. We proceeded to walk down & was unable to find the establishment due to their being no front sign. After walking back & forth a few times, we saw another group walking towards the door & they confirmed the place. We walked inside the front door pressed a "doorbell" & lo & behold we gained entry after the previous group went inside. Definitely an incognito entrance. Once inside that door there is someone to greet you, & take your information. There is a forest/ grass/ jungle-looking foyer/ hallway we walked down to get to the next door. Before we knew it, we were near the "Paradise Lost No Vacancy" neon sign w/ an arrow pointing towards the snake-shaped knob door. It gets opened & a supercool speakeasy awaits.... Paradise Lost has mixed style table / seating arrangements throughout the place. A bar seating section, booth-style seating area, lounge- style seating area, etc. We got there a little after 7pm, so the afterwork crowd was in full swing. Paradise Lost has interesting atmosphere. At times a Gothic / Medieval Vibe, meets place w/ shipwreck decor, meets eleganct /club vibe w/ beautiful ceiling lighting, etc. Music played in the background. Staff are friendly, energetic, & attentive. We were pleasantly overwhelmed w/ the vast selection of tiki cocktails that were on the menu. Paradise Lost also have an intimate selection of snacks/ food menu items. This included Popcorn, Tater Tots, Devilled Eggs Rangoon Dip, etc. We ordered some cocktails served in unique tiki mugs & a bucket of popcorn to munch on w/ our drinks. The popcorn is flavored w/ Sea Buckthorn & Browm Butter, which gave it an special flavor profile. Our cocktails were well-prepared & nice & strong. Paradise Lost has individual unisex bathroom stalls & a communal vanity & sink area. The bathroom stalls have spooky voices coming from a speaker as you use the bathroom. I was so humorously taken aback, it had me laughing when I came out...Definitely a different thing to experience in the bathroom - lol. Before we left we watched one of the bartenders do a cocktail "fire" presentation for some patrons in a booth seated area. Wow.... Paradise Lost accepts walk-ins only, no reservations. Paradise Lost accepts groups of 8 or less, unless you are requesting to book the space for a private event. Ages 21+ paradiselost.nyc @paradiselostnyc Paradise Lost is open everyday - 5pm-2am.

It was on a weekday, the day of NBA Finals Game 3 when everyone else were at bars & lounges getting ready for the game to start. This afforded us a beautiful and tranquil experience at Osamil Upstairs. Hidden behind a locked door inside Osamil, it's a spot you have to seek out to get in. After we shared we were going to Osamil Upstairs, the hostess from Osamil promptly unlocked the unmarked door for us to head upstairs to Osamil Upstairs. Had other customers not come out as we were walking up the stairs, we might have passed the entrance to Osamil Upstairs and continued upward! Much like what you might expect of a speakeasy, it's well-hidden, and the interior just blows the mind. It's elegant, beautiful, and comfortable. The drinks were good. My cheese in the trap was smokey (as promised!) and alcohol forward. My hubby had the Jung cocktail and it had the most magical, delicious combination of flavors! We also ordered a foie gras with toast appetizer as a pre-dinner snack; it was OK. All in all, a really pleasant experience and we'd return if we were in the area again!
