Service and the food are great here. If you haven't been here, you need to try it out. From burgers to chicken sandwiches to fish tacos along with fries and a cold drink, it is worth it.

Almost gone Juarez Burger

I have eaten a few burgers in my time. This burger joint is top 5. So good! Fresh great ingredients. Flamed broiled. I had the "Juarez" and the green chile special. Great fries! Clean! Fresh! El Paso do not walk run. Service was great! Smiling faces..go go go go! Fresh cold beers on tap!! It's definitely a spot!

Very small and cozy place with a welcoming atmosphere. We started off with the buffalo cauliflower wings and they did not disappoint. They were very crunchy and cooked perfectly. I thought they were chicken at first. Our order arrived very fast after and look great. The chicken pesto sandwich was loaded and the chicken was juicy and charred perfectly. I wanna come here again just so I can try the rest of their menu items. 100% recommend to come here.

Today (7/24/25) my wife and son and I went for a second time, from the Far East side! We promised to bring my son when he came from San Antonio. The ambiance is so friendly, comfortable, and clean! The food was OUTSTANDING, once again! And the crew of Randy (chef and owner), Ski (she made great recommendations), and Ricky (assistant chef) were all AMAZING, COURTEOUS, FRIENDLY, and WELCOMING. It felt like we were eating at their house! Unlike anywhere else in El Paso! As for the food, my wife had her favorite, the "Ahi Tuna Burger", which again was cooked to rare perfection. Nobody even comes close to Randy's Ahi Tuna Burger! So tender flavorful and filling! My son had what I had last time, the "OG Borracho Burger", which was also cooked to perfection and had all of its various flavors tasting like and orchestra in perfect symphony...easily the BEST BURGER IN EL PASO, hands down! And I got the "Fish Tacos", per Randy's recommendation, and I am so glad that he did! The fish was cooked to perfection and married excellently with the slaw and red onions on top, and their sauce! Needless to say, we were all so SATISFIED and CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK! Please, go see for yourself and help their business grow and prosper, like it deserves, so we can continue to benefit from some of the BEST FOOD in the southwest! This place is a true "Diamond in the rough" and the food is AMAZING ANS OUTSTANDING every time! GO AND ENJOY! Great job Randy (and crew)! Keep it up!

Excellent restaurant for lunch. I had the special Hawaiian burger and the lil woman had the fish tacos. Both were delicious !! Definitely recommend this one!!

Chase The Taste is back on the Westside, everyone! I missed the grand opening, but I wanted to come out to support them. They had Korean tacos as a special, so of course, I had to get some for Taco Tuesday! The Korean tacos were placed on a wrap of fresh jicama, and it was so refreshing, like eating a salad but tastier. Lol! And of course, I had to get the OG Borracho burger! It's definitely an El Paso creation with an Angus burger patty char-broiled to perfection, cheddar cheese, and a mix of hatch chilies, bacon, chorizo, and grilled onions. They topped it off with an over easy egg. El Paso loves sauces on their burgers, and the juicier it is, the more the bun has to stay intact to enjoy everything without burning your hands or falling apart. This time around, it didn't fall apart and was delicious. They did change the buns, and it's a game changer! The buns now actually holds everything together without disintegrating. Because of that one change, I think Chase The Taste is the burger spot to beat now. Come check them out! They're now at the Substation, and they're ready for everyone. The place looks great, clean, modern, and of course, with the same flavor and taste. Come out and support local! -TODOELPASO

Been hitting up Chase the Taste since they were a food truck. They have been dishing out quality food ever since. I have never had a bad meal. Service is always great and fast. They always show love to their customers. Today I got the borracho burger. Beef patty, chorizo, grilled onions, grilled green chili, cheese and Chipotle aioli. Best burger I have had in a long time. 100% a spot to check out.

I have been here a handful of times and absolutely love the burgers here. They have a variety of burgers, chicken sandwiches and other options BUT the burgers do not disappoint. I have tried the OG burger, Green Chile burger and the Classic. The burgers have a flame broiled taste and the meat does not taste frozen. The burgers are a generous size and paired with shoestring French fries. You can get them plain, seasoned, or upgraded to carne asada for an additional price. The service has been great each time. The inside is smaller but plenty of seating. The prices are reasonable as well and they have a delicious pineapple cider on tap. Give them a try!

Absolutely love this place. I would give them five stars but they don't serve turkey burgers. They should add to menu.

Always great food. The burgers are cooked well, and messy. The best burger you can get in the Northeast, and top 5 in the city.

Had the OG burger, it was huge and great tasting. The bun did not hold up well to suck a large burger. The sweet potato fries were limp.

The brisket was perfect with a great salt and pepper bark, juice meat with some great marbling. The Habanero sausage was pretty mild but had just a little kick while allowing the fruity notes of the habanero come through. The sides were also excellent as was the complementary corn bread. This is the barbecue that does not need the sauce it's that good! Service was really good. Considering what they are doing here with regards to helping homeless people get back on their feet it was excellent service. The staff are all polite and friendly and all seem to be happy to be there. The decor is pleasant with lots of pictures and decorations like the wooden Stars and Stripes flag, longhorn horns and a mounted pheasant. If you are in El Paso and looking for great BBQ. Thick slices with a beautiful smoke ring, deep flavor, and that perfect balance of tenderness and structure. It was juicy without being greasy, and the bark had just the right bite. The brisket sandwich was equally satisfying. Simple, honest, and generous, with crisp onions and a soft bun that let the meat shine. The ribs had great flavor, but were a bit on the dry side during this visit. Still enjoyable, but the brisket definitely stole the show. Sides were a mix. The green beans were outstanding. Easily some of the best I've had at a barbecue spot. Full of flavor and clearly cooked with care. The beans and cornbread were solid and comforting. The coleslaw, though, didn't quite stand out and was the only item I'd probably skip next time. The space itself adds to the experience. Open, casual, and unpretentious. It feels like a place focused on doing barbecue right rather than trying to be trendy. FYI: You order first & they bring out the food to you. Overall, Hallelujah BBQ is absolutely worth visiting, especially for the brisket and those green beans. I'll definitely be back.

He was a super good doggie though. The service was great, fast, and food was fabulous. I had the $19 Poke Bowl. I ordered before I noticed the price. Yikes! As a regular meat eater, it's not necessarily the type of restaurant I would be attracted to but the service & meal was very pleasant. Jake was on point with his service & recommended the daily specials - which included the "meat"ball sub sandwich with salad. I also opted in for the Mac & Cheese appetizer because it sounded great. Ordered a manzanita drink (drink selection is a little different than many other restaurants). The Mac & Cheese appetizer was delicious! Actually, my favorite part of the meal! The sub sandwich came with a simple green salad that was a nice combo. The sandwich bread was soft & warm and included meatballs covered in sauce & melted cheese. Not bad at all but due to my own personal preference the meatballs weren't my personal favorite. In the future, I think I'll lean toward options that don't feature "meat" because of my preference but for those who look for or prefer vegan options, go visit Jake & check out this new downtown El Paso eatery!
