I'm a very picky eater when it comes to Desi food. I have punjabi taste buds so I know good food when I taste it. I was craving some Naan Chanay or Chole that are served in Pakistan mainly. This place was the only place that served them, but I was skeptic about the taste. So I decided to go there, I could not believe how nice looking this place is. It's kind of hard to see from the road because it's being blocked by Westpark bridge, but it's located right by that Chase building. The setting is like a old country style, wooden structure with booths and tables. Plus the outside seating area was really nice especially if you go there with a family. Now onto the Food: I had the opportunity to talk with the owner: Amir about their cooking style. He assured me I'll enjoy it. So I ordered Their Naan Chaney/Cholay and they were so tasty. Alot like the ones served in Pakistan. Next week I came and tried their Chicken Kabab Roll and was blown away from the taste. It's no wonder they are best known for them The prices are very decent too and the size of food is alot. I'll be going there alot from now on. Give it a try and you'll love it. read more

As another person said, wish I can give 0 stars! This is the worst resturant (if you want to call it) I had visited. We got there around 8 pm and ordered Goat biryani, butter chicken, chicken kabob and garlic naan. The guy goes "we don't have garlic naan". Fine we will take butter naan. We ordered a chaat also and he goes not sure we have it but you can panni poori. He goes inside and said they have chaat. We wait for 40 minutes to get the chaat. Then the guy comes and goes, sorry we don't have any goat left. Wife said chicken is fine. Wait for another 30 minutes and we get the food. Nothing outstanding in reference to the taste. Then we overheard the server mention goat biryani to another group that came 15-20 minutes later than us. So we asked her, are they getting goat biryani and she goes "YES". We were like what the heck? So when paying the check, I asked why did the other party who came much later than us was able to get goat biryani and not us? Amazing food! Very authentic. I had Lahori chole, very nice. Kebabs perfect. They also have channa chat, which is hard to find, also really good. The best things were they have the best Pani Puri! That is if you like Karachi street food. Also their Kashmiri chai is awesome. The place is really nice and spacious inside, toilet is very artistic lol. The only thing is that it's always empty whenever I come. The only reason why I removed one star is for the service. It is horribly slow and unprofessional. read more

I've always wanted to try this place. Chicken kabobs are great, but the beef one is ok. The place is hidden and located near the bridge on hwy 6 and alief clodine. It's clean and very spacious. Hopefully more people will try this hidden treasure restaurant! read more

I am from the heart of meat eating cuisines- jama masjid, old delhi and grew up there. I can tell you that very few chefs know the art of mughlai cooking and chatkhara grill is one of them. They still do slow overnight cooking which means they know art and not just serve to make money. They know the taste and cuisine. They make lovely food, specially goat paate and goat karhai. This place is super shady and gross. It's in a terrible location and the owner is super grumpy. They have an 18% service charge, and there were flies flying around us. The food takes an incredibly long time to get out (45+ minutes), but when it gets there you can't beat the value. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Just make sure you go be for you are starving. read more

This place used to be good, but now it's just a filthy restaurant with no organization or the sense how to run a restaurant. The owner is back there cooking no hair net with his long hair, only God knows how much he sheds. I called in an order and they told me it would take 30 minutes, I got there after 25 minutes and that's when they started my order, I waited close to 40 minutes. The restaurant is disgusting, I'm shocked that they are approved by the health department to do business. Ordered chicken kabobs, they used to be a nice size worth every penny, now they charge you close to $3 a kabob (for ground chicken mind you- cheap meat) and their quantity has decreased. The kabob is tiny, I spent close to $50 only to come home and be annoyed at how small these so called kabobs were. Truth be told, after seeing how dirty the kitchen and the restaurant as a whole looks, not to reiterate the guy does NOT wear a hair net!?!? I am never going back. You prob should just go elsewhere and not waste your time at a place which doesn't respect the customers time nor do they care enough to have clean and sanitary practices, it's a recipe for disaster. read more

Ordered fish platter and chicken platter, both delicious, the fish was soft and flavorful, the chicken was sheekh kabab, very tasty. Got biriyani and butter chicken as to go. Service was good. Sat outside for lunch with wifey in the beautiful fall weather. read more

Sticky floors, wobbly tables and broken benches, dirty order counter, you can literally see roach killer powder sprinkled everywhere, cats roaming around..extremely chatty uncle behind the counter BUT the FOOOOOD. Oh my god, the most delicious chicken and beef kababs we have had and it was all reasonably priced! Uncle asked us how much tip we wanted to leave which was strange because we didn't have a server, we had to get our own drinks & napkins. As a person who has previously worked here, I would definitely NOT recommend this place. The food is cooked in bulk and then placed in pots on the floor of the fridge. The same floor that has rats and roaches crawling on it. Then the food is later reheated to order. The only thing that is cooked fresh every day is the kabobs and chicken biryani. I remember first starting my job there and scrubbing down the bathrooms like no other because it was by far the nastiest bathroom ever. Then moving my way back into the kitchen to get rid of the rat problem because he had the health inspector coming the next day. I remember constantly telling him and the two Hispanic guys that worked there that they could not place RAW meat next to cooked food in the freezer and still they continued to do it. I'm sure they still do it to this day. The owner was overall nice, but he had his days where he was really rude. Kept me wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy after my shifts and then didn't want to pay me for those hours that I worked. I ended up having to get my stepdad to come in there (reserved police officer) to help me collect my last check and quit. I'm not surprised that yet today, he's still dealing with roach problems. They have an 18% service charge with any purchase. They cannot force a charge that high on a party of TWO. These people are overpriced. The food is not worth the price. It seems like they reheat their food. The workers there are so unprofessional and will yell at each other across the room from each other with customers in the restaurant. The owner is nothing but money hungry. They don't even run the A/C in their restaurant. Not to mention how filthy this place is. There are cockroaches and flies all over this place.
