Rounding to 4 stars because the food was good and the service was as well. I really enjoyed the limited time special butter chicken. It was Smokey and the sauce was delicious. I'm not usually a fan of butter chicken but this was great. The dal fry was your standard dal fry. Good but nothing to rave about. The chicken malai boti and Bihari kabob were both good, tender, and cooked well. The raita and chutney that accompanied them were really good too. We didn't really enjoy the chicken seekh kabob but it may be because the other ones were so much better. I don't like that you have no option but to pay for water. I'm not even sure if that's legal in Texas. They were out of naan and 2 other things we wanted at 8:15 pm on a random Wednesday. I'd order to go and not eat in again.

We had been used to getting the food from their Food truck at the Moosa colony and which was usually very flavorful and so once this opened at this brick and mortar restaurant was excited to try it out. The location was great and parking nice and the restaurant is built very nicely and has their mascot - a meerut mustache guy statue in the reception and also the mascot playing and dancing on the screens. We ordered our usual bbq food items or a few rolls of chicken and Bihari kabab and bbq. The presentation was good but the rolls were very oily and then the bbz items didn't felt the flavor. Everything was good but didn't get rhe bbz experience as lacking in flavor is the best way I can describe it. So I do not think we would be returning here

I've heard a lot of great things about this place. I never had the food truck so I can only review the actual restaurant. In terms of cleanliness and seating, it was amazing. I felt the service was pretty poor. Our table ordered our food and drinks at the register and 20 mins later still no drinks. I asked a waitress and she asked me to repeat our drink order and we would get it. I'm not sure why I needed to repeat if I ordered already and have a table number, I'm sure she could have checked that out? It was also surprising they didn't have ice, but one of the employees was so nice that he went next door to get ice and brought it to our table. Lastly, the chicken tikka leg is the best menu item. As for the beef Bihari, chicken Bihari roll, and the beef seekh kabob, I was really unimpressed. The paratha is not paratha, it's actually puree. The beef seekh kabob is more like a minced meat. I'd love to see this place succeed and feel if they can correct part of the service and also improve on a couple of the menu options, it will be a much better experience.

Went to the new brick and mortar for Meerut. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating. Great halal Pakistani bbq spot! Food: The food was delicious. The beef bihari was cooked perfectly and smoky. The paratha used for the wrap was crispy and flakey. The red chutney was sooo good too! This spot is a must if you want desi/ Pakistani bbq. Customer service: 5/5 I really applaud them for their customer service. They were having some trouble in the kitchen with the grills so the owner sent out daal and roti for everyone to accommodate for the wait time (the wait time wasn't even that long)! We had waiters come check on us multiple times to make sure everything was okay and if we needed anything. They had plenty of staff working to accommodate the rush.

The food was absolutely amazing. I was quite impressed. The aroma coming from the grill, felt like chilling at a dhaba with food being presented left n right. Chicken boti. 5/5 grilled to perfection. It red bursting with flavor. Served with tamarind chutney onions and white sauce. Beef Bihari paratha 5/5. Absolutely delish. Beef was well seasoned and favored. The paratha was so delicious and it was packed with meat n onions and chutney. Food was ready fairly quickly. There are a lot of food trucks here and plenty of seating. Good friendly service at this Food Truck also.

Price did not match the taste from above two items.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this visit was disappointing enough that I hope management takes notice. The goat chops were extremely tough and difficult to eat, lacking the tenderness that should be expected from this dish. The beef seekh kabab was equally disappointing--very dry, bland, and lacking the seasoning and flavor that typically make seekh kababs enjoyable. Both items appeared overcooked and did not reflect the quality standards I was expecting. I'm providing this feedback not to criticize, but to encourage management to review kitchen quality control, food preparation, and consistency. These are signature menu items, and they should be prepared with much greater attention to texture, moisture, and flavor. I would appreciate a response from management regarding whether this was an isolated issue. Based on this experience alone, I would be hesitant to order either dish again. Spent $140 plus including a tip...

Great over all service you have to order yourself first and then you have it dropped off to your table. Food was very good quality ambience was very smoky so don't wear nice clothes.

Man this was some excellent bbq! Seriously, seriously excellent food. We ordered a variety of items between two families which included bihari boti, chicken boti, wings, tikka and garlic mayo roll along with parathas. The food came with a generous amound of sliced onions, chutney and garlic sauce as sides. The portions were also good, especially if you conisder food trucks often serve less, so you get great value for your food imo. We finished nearly everything. The only reason we had left overs was because we had eaten from other trucks in the area. Service wise they are fine. The person at the order window was quick but polite. He gave us a 30 minute estimate for the order and it was in fact ready in 30. They were also taking phone orders. I will definitely be coming back here when in Houston next time.

Such an amazing spot to bring family and friends. So many choices on the menu. The staff treats you like family.

No matter where we go and try the brisket, Rudy's still has the best brisket moist in our opinion. This was our favorite go to for the chili stew and brisket moist. However, lately we felt this place has been off. The brisket moist does not taste the way it used to anymore. The rub doesn't even look the same. We thought it was an ordering mistake when we ordered it through door dash the last two times. The brisket those two times had no bark like it was supposed to be smoked for a long time. It was not moist, soft, or tender like it used to be. It was horrible. The fat on it was chewy and not tender or melt in your mouth soft at all. There was no flavor on it and they had cut off all the bark where the flavor was. They left none of it on! It tasted horrible. It made us not want to order online anymore. Today our family was craving Rudy's. To avoid online ordering error, I had my sons pick it up in person to make sure there was no confusion about us wanting brisket moist with some thin bark seasoning from the dry rub with the even amount of fat and meat to make the brisket be soft and tender. Sadly we did not get that. It does not and did not taste moist or had the bark seasoning we loved about it. It tastes like brisket lean! It does not taste right! Even the rub on the brisket looks off. I think this will be our last time coming here. The last two times we ordered online, I didn't know how to report to DoorDash that the brisket moist the last two times was off. Since we went in person we know it was not an error. The brisket definitely had changed its recipe and how they cook it. Sadly this will be our last time to go here. Even the pork ribs don't taste as soft and tender as it used to. It's chewy also. We spent allot of money every time. We will be looking for a new place for our brisket moist. Sad to see a place that has such a great run go down on quality.

The brisket was a bit lean. But the baked potato and sausage was goood. But the gold medal winner was the pork ribs. Not only did it taste great, but it literally melted. It sits right off Harlem Road--not exactly hidden, but definitely gives off that "shack" vibe. Seeing how long it's been around, I figured it had to be serving up some good ole homestyle BBQ. I finally went with a few friends and decided to sample a little bit of everything: 1/2 lb of pork ribs, 1/2 lb of brisket, a sausage link, and a side of potato salad. I was pleasantly surprised by the price--BBQ can get pricey fast, but my whole plate was between $20-$30, which felt super reasonable for the amount of food. The pork ribs were juicy with just the right amount of fat--exactly how I like them. The brisket was flavorful, but I did find it a bit on the dry side. The sausage link, though, was the real winner for me: peppery, juicy, and full of that smoky flavor I love. Everything had solid flavor on its own--even without the BBQ sauce, which I appreciated since I usually prefer a dry rub, and they nailed that. Now, the potato salad was...interesting. It wasn't bad, just not what I expected. It was basically mashed potatoes that tasted like potato salad. I was hoping for a more traditional, chunky, homestyle version, but it was still decent in its own way. The vibe was laid-back, and the service matched that energy. There were only two employees working, but both were friendly and moved at a good pace. It was never packed, but there was a steady flow of families dining in quickly and folks picking up to-go orders. My friends and I hung out on the patio for a few hours, and we got to see a consistent stream of traffic the whole time. All in all, I'd definitely go back-- solid spot if you're craving BBQ without the fuss.

While waiting for our order, we were offered drinks and their dangerously yeasty dinner rolls. Here's our verdict on the food. Brisket - the slices from the point were nice and tender but the slices from the flat were a little dry. Could use a little more seasoning.
