Delicious Pakistani bbq! Def recommend a visit! I had the rumali roti with chicken boti. Was so flavorful and they definitely aren't shy with the spice. It was the real deal. The roti was soft and perfect. The chicken was tender and so flavorful. There were no parts missing to the chicken (what I mean is, the other similar restaurant in SL def gives less chicken...random parts of chicken breast missing...or the metal rod that the meat is cooked with happens to be so big that there's a visible gap and the meat is actually not a lot...and you're paying for the air...) We also tried the Bihari paratha roll. The chicken was SO tender and complimented the crisp paratha. We were checked on numerous times by the staff. The restaurant is spotless (including the bathrooms). The food came out fresh and didn't take long at all. The plates were even warmed which helped keep the food warm. I would come back everyday. We came here with some friends for dinner and waited for about 30 minutes for a table. I had the chicken malal boti (washed) with some roti. I also had some goat chops (not pictured). The chicken was very soft and the goat chops is amazing. They both had a slight kick. But... they were so busy... they had to redo my dish due to a mistake. In doing so, by the time my dish came, everyone was already done eating. The time management was off. One of the owners came by to check on us and had some small chat. There's an outdoor patio and the ac was out that day. There's free parking out front. It seems like we came in a bad day but the food did taste great even tho it came to our table at different times. I heard this is their brick and mortar and they started from a food truck so maybe once they fully transition, the restaurant would run smoother. Almost forgot, there's no free water. Rounding to 4 stars because the food was good and the service was as well. I really enjoyed the limited time special butter chicken. It was Smokey and the sauce was delicious. I'm not usually a fan of butter chicken but this was great. The dal fry was your standard dal fry. Good but nothing to rave about. The chicken malai boti and Bihari kabob were both good, tender, and cooked well. The raita and chutney that accompanied them were really good too. We didn't really enjoy the chicken seekh kabob but it may be because the other ones were so much better. I don't like that you have no option but to pay for water. We had been used to getting the food from their Food truck at the Moosa colony and which was usually very flavorful and so once this opened at this brick and mortar restaurant was excited to try it out. The location was great and parking nice and the restaurant is built very nicely and has their mascot - a meerut mustache guy statue in the reception and also the mascot playing and dancing on the screens. We ordered our usual bbq food items or a few rolls of chicken and Bihari kabab and bbq. The presentation was good but the rolls were very oily and then the bbz items didn't felt the flavor. I've heard a lot of great things about this place. I never had the food truck so I can only review the actual restaurant. In terms of cleanliness and seating, it was amazing. I felt the service was pretty poor. Our table ordered our food and drinks at the register and 20 mins later still no drinks. I asked a waitress and she asked me to repeat our drink order and we would get it. I'm not sure why I needed to repeat if I ordered already and have a table number, I'm sure she could have checked that out? It was also surprising they didn't have ice, but one of the employees was so nice that he went next door to get ice and brought it to our table. Lastly, the chicken tikka leg is the best menu item. As for the beef Bihari, chicken Bihari roll, and the beef seekh kabob, I was really unimpressed. The paratha is not paratha, it's actually puree. The beef seekh kabob is more like a minced meat. I'd love to see this place succeed and feel if they can correct part of the service and also improve on a couple of the menu options, it will be a much better experience. read more

Went to the new brick and mortar for Meerut. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating. Great halal Pakistani bbq spot! Food: The food was delicious. The beef bihari was cooked perfectly and smoky. The paratha used for the wrap was crispy and flakey. The red chutney was sooo good too! This spot is a must if you want desi/ Pakistani bbq. Customer service: 5/5 I really applaud them for their customer service. They were having some trouble in the kitchen with the grills so the owner sent out daal and roti for everyone to accommodate for the wait time (the wait time wasn't even that long)! The goat chops were extremely tough and difficult to eat, lacking the tenderness that should be expected from this dish. The beef seekh kabab was equally disappointing--very dry, bland, and lacking the seasoning and flavor that typically make seekh kababs enjoyable. Both items appeared overcooked and did not reflect the quality standards I was expecting. I'm providing this feedback not to criticize, but to encourage management to review kitchen quality control, food preparation, and consistency. These are signature menu items, and they should be prepared with much greater attention to texture, moisture, and flavor. Man this was some excellent bbq! Seriously, seriously excellent food. We ordered a variety of items between two families which included bihari boti, chicken boti, wings, tikka and garlic mayo roll along with parathas. The food came with a generous amound of sliced onions, chutney and garlic sauce as sides. The portions were also good, especially if you conisder food trucks often serve less, so you get great value for your food imo. We finished nearly everything. The only reason we had left overs was because we had eaten from other trucks in the area. Service wise they are fine. The person at the order window was quick but polite. He gave us a 30 minute estimate for the order and it was in fact ready in 30. They were also taking phone orders. I will definitely be coming back here when in Houston next time. read more

first time we came the naan was soft and really good but this recent time the naan were so hard we had to send it back and get softer ones. Recently we went and the tikka has a smoky American barbecue flavor rather than a Pakistani tikka flavor. The people working are pretty nice. I think it will take some time for them to get their footing because each time we have gone the tikka has tasted different. they should stick with the pakistani flavors! read more

Miserable! Utterly unprofessional staff who most likely was the owner of the this food truck as well I would not even give out 1 star if given the option. After almost 2 weeks of calling and them failing to pick up the phone I had to drive 50 mins for the owner who was a tall pal was extremely rude and took an offense to something which was his and thier business's fault. After simply asking why they are not responding to thier phone showing on Google and elsewhere the pal responded "oh we don't answer our phone". Kuddos I had asked very maturely sine from past many days I had tried to get try some food they had to offer but for 2-3 times when I got there they were closed. Eventhough Google was showing they were open. Nonetheless, the tall pal and the individual behind him with the glasses looked at me like asked them to calculate a chemical equation or something. Oh! But wait this enough they started raising their voice and asked me get out the line. I mean I don't know what background or culture they're coming from. But, isn't like this city or premises is thier backyard Lastly, this was the 5th time I wasted time and whatnot to try their food but obviously they don't like anyone who confronts them or questions them of their wrong doings They were extremely unprofessional and off by all means. But after a long drive from San Antonio back to Houston, this was the only place open, so I decided to give Meerut BBQ House a shot. I got the Chicken Bihari Roll, and I'm shocked--it was incredible. The flavors were so authentic, the meat perfectly seasoned, and it somehow managed to taste like homemade food wrapped in an easy-to-eat sandwich. I still can't believe how good it was. The food here is exceptional we have gone twice so far. We always get their Beef seekh kababs and Bihari boti. Everything here tastes exactly like the ones from Pakistan. Wait times can be long, so we prefer to call them, place an order and go there to pick it up within an hour. There is always a line which moves slowly.
