    Matcha Filled Croissant $8

So Decadent. Cream Filled Matcha Croissant. Not too sweet and not too dense. The lamination was amazing. It does get messy so make sure to devour at your own risk!

Very rude customer service the guy who was there seem like he hated his job. He should quit honestly bad experience

Egg and cheese croissant with dukkah

I came here on a weekday a little before 1pm and unfortunately they were already sold out of a lot their pastries. While the pastries they still had looked delicious and enticing, I wanted something savory and the only option left had jalapeños in it, which I wasn't feeling. The cashier convinced me to go with one of their breakfast options and I looked through the menu to see a few good options on there. I ended up going with the Egg and Cheese Croissant with Dukkah, mostly because I wanted to see what their croissant was like! I found a seat at a table inside and despite being a small cafe, they have ample seating. The ambiance was cozy and made me feel like I was in a Parisian cafe for a moment while the seats were very comfortable. I felt relaxed and at ease while waiting for my food to come out. It came out fairly quickly and came with a salad and a lemony dressing. The croissant was so soft and flaky and nice and warm in my mouth. It really sopped up the flavors of the just egg omelette and melty vegan cheese. The dukkah added its own magical seasoning and enhanced the flavor of the croissant. I would highly recommend this dish! It is a bit pricy but well worth it. I was a bit confused on where exactly the restaurant was, as I at first walked into the non-vegan counterpart, Chaumont, which is located to the right of this cafe. I realized after that this in fact was the wrong cafe and then when walking out saw the vegan labeled above the door next door. Parking is very easy in the surrounding neighborhood or in one of the many 2 hour free garages the city of Beverly Hills provides. I will definitely be back soon!

I'd heard about how delicious this place was from a couple of my friends who frequent both this location and the non-vegan location next door so I came here with my vegan friend to check it out as a non vegan. FOOD 3.5 The food took a bit to come out but once presented was lovely. The portion size was more than enough to enjoy some for now and some for later if I wanted, and the plate up/presentation was beautiful. It felt like getting a taste of the forest brought right to me. As far as flavor went I got the feta omelette and thought it was okay but could've been a bit more seasoned/flavorful. It was a dish made with being healthy in mind. My friend who got the same thing and is a vegan was obsessed so I wonder if my palate and how I receive seasonings differs significantly because I do eat meat. I did enjoy the "feta" and fluffiness of the "omelette" itself. I got the Chai as by the time I got there they were out of matcha for the day. It was okay. SERVICE The service was fine no special praise or complaints there. I would say that because we came in an hr and a half before closing time I appreciated them allowing us to enjoy our time inside eating and catching up without making us feel rushed or like they were closing when they were in fact preparing to close, and for that I thank them. AMBIANCE I loved the decor of the place. It had lots of beautiful flowers and plants which is one of my favorite aesthetics. The flow of the place was done well and so was the lighting and lounge/inside dining area. It was beautiful and great for picture taking. Overall I regret not trying a pastry as EVERYTHING I saw looked so beautiful and that's what my friends were initially raving about. I do want to go back and get a pastry from them, try their matcha, and go next door and try their food to compare the flavor profile. It was a good experience for me but I do have to go back and try their pastries then maybe do an updated review. If you're a vegan I think this place will have a good variety of things for you to try out.

It's so hard to find a full vegan pastry shop with croissants and here we are! I've only been to one other in Miami and I'm so glad to see you. We have one on the West Coast with its own creative twist. We had a hard time deciding on what to try so we got a bunch to take with us to go. It shouldn't be too surprising to say they were all amazing and I'm not saying that just because their croissants and croissants are delicious, but they actually are great in texture, not too greasy or buttery like the ones you find at Whole Foods. They wear this light, airy, flaky croissant with unique fillings inside that weren't too decadent or sweet to take away from the pastry. Some personal standouts that I would love to come back for is a cinnamon roll, guava, cream pastry, in the Ube croissants. The cinnamon roll was just the best cinnamon roll I've ever had. I love the idea of a croissant cinnamon roll. It didn't even need any icing. It was perfect. The guava cream also just happened to be the perfect texture and balance where it wasn't too sweet or heavy. The Ube croissant is just so unique. I've never seen a vegan one anywhere before! I'm so glad they offer it. I 100% recommend. You really can't go wrong with anything even if you want savory the ham and cheese was good. I guess you just have to go there and see what they have available and what you're feeling. Service was phenomenal. He was super friendly answered all of our questions. They did get busy and he handled it perfectly. Also offer coffees - cafe drinks - You can dine there or to go. They have plenty of indoor seating too!

I finally got to try this spot and it was amazing and did not disappoint. I got pretty much one of everything they had available. The ham and cheese croissant was amazing as was the chocolate orange croissant. I also got a couple plum cakes I think they were and those were also tasty. I appreciated how fresh everything was and that they heated it to make sure it was nice and toasty when sitting down and enjoying them.

On a Sunday there is plenty of parking and people are nice that work there. The pastries are tasty and have a slight twist to the flavor which I don't mind. There was an olive danish but spicy. The vegan pepperoni cheese croissant had a spicy pepper jack so there was some sweet agave on it. Similar to hot honey I think? The spice was stronger than expected but still good. Croissants also good for vegan but I thought the filling was a bit much compared to the amount of croissant. For example the strawberry croissant has jam in it which was too overpowering. Also messy!

This is a must-visit location for us when we are in SoCal. Everything is delicious! The vegan bakery has an amazing selection of croissants (so flaky and yum!!) and baked goods plus hearty vegan savory offerings. The omnivores in our group pop over to the non-vegan Chaumont bakery next door and we meet up on a table outside to eat together. Everyone is happy :)

    Delicious VEGAN!!!!

Nice atmosphere. Great vegan options. Beautiful presentation. Chill vibe. I want to order everything!

Vegan egg and cheese croissant sandwich

Ahhhh I love this place. After we left, we were wishing we had got more. I guess I just need to go back asap. The vegan side is right next door to the regular side. They even share a kitchen, which did make me wonder about cross contamination. The bathrooms on the vegan side were out of order, so I used the bathroom on the non vegan side. It wasn't the cleanest, but that makes sense since it was being used by so many people. The non vegan side was PACKED. And the vegan side only had 4 groups of customers. It boggles my mind that people are still choosing to harm animals when they can have something just as tasty with exploitation. You order up at the counter and then they bring you your food. I really wanted the ham and cheese croissant but they sold out before I arrived. So instead, I ordered a breakfast croissant, an early gray croissant, and a latte. Everything was so insanely good! I've had a lot of vegan croissants, but these were the flakiest. Pieces would flake off if you just looked at them. Haha. The filling inside the earl grey croissant was insanely good! There's a parking garage across the street and a block down, which I think is free for the first hour.

This is the place to bring your non vegan friends! Simply the BEST croissants I've ever had! The breakfast dukkah croissant egg sandwich is top notch and the feta omelette is my favorite. I've dined in and had delivery as well. Food is always warm and fresh. The location is charming and quiet...a great place to catch up with a friend over a chai latte. Located in the heart of Beverly Hills, it makes for the perfect start to a "shop til you drop" day with your friends. The service is impeccable...Attentive, friendly and geared towards excellence.

There's no tables for sitting; all orders are take-out only to keep the lines moving. Staff are always welcoming, friendly and in a good mood. The interior is clean, warm, wood-accented, and minimalistic. They sell a few merch, including whole beans from their high-altitude source and Fellow products. They seriously know how to extract the perfect espresso here at Maru. Each cup, no matter which option you go with is balanced, silky and rich in flavor. 1. Espresso Con Panna (5/5) One of their signature drinks containing double espresso with cacao powder and their signature smooth, cream top. Lightly sweet, not bitter or acidic. It has a hint of tangy spice to it which I just loved. 2. Iced Breve Macchiato (5/5) A tiny, but mighty cup of double espresso poured over their signature velvety cream and milk. Aesthetically pleasing to look at, even more amazing to the tastebuds as the warm espresso plus the occasional coldness from the 1 large ice cube they place at the bottom of the cup. They also sell a few pastry items here such as croissants and matcha donut. I opted to try the Matcha donut, which was moist and has a spongy texture. It was not sweet and had a subtle matcha flavor. It paired well with the drinks. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area!!!

The line can be insane, but we somehow lucked out and there was no wait on a Saturday ~6 PM. This was my first time at this location, and while it was fun being in the middle of Beverly Hills, the drinks and service weren't what I expected. The staff was fairly impatient (despite us being the only customers in the store) and seemed annoyed to provide recommendations to my family who had never tried HeyTea before. We got 5 drinks: triple matcha, brown sugar bobo, king jasmine guava, coconut mango boom, cloud jasmine. All but the king jasmine guava were either bland or extremely salty. The king jasmine guava was easily the best drink we got, but it had mostly a guava taste and very little jasmine. I've never had this experience before at the other locations, so I want to assume they were just having a really off day... All that said, it's Beverly Hills. Even the most popular places can be hit or miss depending on the day. While I was disappointed in this visit, I wouldn't mind giving it another try if I had a craving and was in the area. There's a few stools to sit on, but this is mostly a grab and go spot. Note on parking: there's some street parking in front of the store, but it can be tough to find an empty spot. There's a couple paid garages/lots on the block, and we were able to get free parking since we were there after 6 PM.

My mom & I both had the afternoon tea, she treated herself with the unlimited champagne and a $24 caviar bite which was so small, I would consider it half a bite.
