My son took us ( his parents) to this place and thought out reactions to the names of the sandwiches was funny. We are not narrow minded people by any means but this place expanded my vocabulary. In a funny way. I am now up to date on my lingo. Wow have things changed. Putting that part aside the turkey sandwich I received was so fresh that I almost wanted another. Fun place as far as environment and surroundings ! The sandwich I got was good. The menu has a decent amount of choices. The staff does need work on their customer service skills. If you are a new visitor to their establishment they should consider being more patient and friendly to explain the different sandwiches . Service was good till the bartender (MJ) had to walk out to his car and smoke because you he didn't he want to be there for work on a holiday. Got stressed out because there was probably going to be a fight between two customers. One of the those customers was a regular and over served and you can till by the way he walked, talked, and smelled. After deciding what to eat for the evening, it came down to 2 choices. We were deciding on Subway, or here. Needless to say we decided to come here. After much debate, I decided on my all time favorite, AK-47. My wife ordered a Kali Mist. At the last minute, I remembered my dad asked for some sweets. I asked if there was any brownies available. I was told not yet, but they would be ready in 20 minutes. We were not dining in so I asked once more after we received my food. Colorado was already on it and was already preparing a piece for me. He was great help through my order and remembering I was in need of a brownie fix. The atmosphere here is what I like and the food never disappoints. I'll be back for trivia night Monday! I used to work at Cheba Hut so I understand to a certain point but this particular location has not once given me a sandwich that I enjoyed. I love cheba hut subs, but this location always forgets something or gives me the ugliest, soggiest sub I've ever had. I had a long weekend and all I wanted was a classic cheba sub (I don't even get it customized cause that's too hard for them) and when it arrived it was leaking through the paper bag. My son had the Kind which was just suppose to be "Roasted turkey breast layered with bacon, 'shrooms & Swiss" The sandwich was loaded with vinaigrette which no where does it say that plus had onions and a pickle and as he said this sandwich was small with almost no bacon and what seemed to be one slice of turkey. It was fine, rather a small portion and all it was was tuna straight from a can, not even doctored up. However I did request no onions and I guess someone did not listen or write it down. Ate here last week, and tried their AK-47 (French Dip) sandwich combo (chips and drink). The sandwich was pretty good. I didn't leave feeling hungry, that's for sure. The chips were just normal bagged chips, and my choice for drink was just unsweetened ice tea. The place is different, with a bar in the front section, and dining in the back area. The mural on the wall is a bit strange and odd, but nothing that would affect the food, IMO. Would I return? Probably. The sandwich was good and the price wasn't too bad. read more

It would be nice to know that this establishment sanitizes their things but unfortunately I just don't think they do, due to the grime and oils built up on the surface of the bar. We weren't sure what to expect at the "weed" themed sub shop but we were not disappointed. The Kali Mist was so delicious and my husband raved about his Jamaican Red.
