    Pineapple Berry: Rum Punch

My boyfriend and I planned a casual date night and unfortunately left extremely disappointed. We were seated right away, which was a great start--but the service quickly went downhill. It took our waiter about 20-25 minutes just to take our drink order. We already knew what we wanted and placed our entire order at once, anticipating either staffing issues or slow service. Even so, things never improved. We waited an additional 30-45 minutes for our food, which never arrived. Eventually, we asked for it to be boxed up so we could leave. While waiting, we noticed the table behind us also get up and leave due to the excessive wait time. We arrived roughly an hour and a half before closing and were never properly served. Overall, this location shows a clear lack of training and concern for customer experience. Side note: I took the food to work the next day, and it was extremely salty--definitely not worth the wait. This was our first and last visit. The only photo I was able to take was of my drink, as it was the only thing that ever made it to the table.

I'd probably not come back to this location. I did a take out order and the food was meh but the worker that brought out the curbside order was stellar. Super friendly and courteous. Order: Grilled salmon (sauce on side), corn, mashed potatoes (2.5/5) - the salmon was grilled nicely, the corn was undercooked and the mashed potatoes would have been better with the gravy that they left out They also gave me burnt crunchy croissants that had to be trashed so that was disappointing Kids chicken Alfredo (3/5) - putting the garlic toast inside the container was a waste, the bread was soggy - there was a good portion of chicken for a kids meal I was super excited bc I have always enjoyed their salmon meal when I frequented their location in Humble/ Spring when I lived out there so was slightly disappointed.

Wisconsin Cheese Bites - not bad. Ranch was ok.

My last review for this place was three stars.... Now, it's barely two.... At 6pm on a Wednesday, without any customers in the restaurant, we were sat very quickly. Thumbs up. Server was very nice. Double thumbs up. So far so good. Food was not good. Please see the pictures for descriptions. Monte Cristo was soft (even though it's supposed to be deep fried) and not hot. How? I don't know. We returned the flavorless kid's penne pasta. And I'm TIRED from the fight with the spinach dip. Why was the dip so tough?!? We literally had to use a knife and fork to get the dip out. Cheese curds were ok. Not hot but at least it had flavor. I don't understand how our food wasn't hot. There is no one else here at the restaurant. Even if our food wasn't premade, at least microwave it. How does Alfredo sauce taste like nothing? Server and host were nice. Restaurant was clean. Apparently one of the toilet seat were broken. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Not the worst meal I've had but it's right down there. The server and host saved this meal. Would I come back? If I remember this meal, no I won't.

Salmon, broccoli , mushrooms, mashed potatoes. I nixed the rice. Like it fresh, and it was excellent.

The hostess was very professional and accommodating to our big birthday event. Great customer service, I hope to go back soon with my friends. It's the February birthday event for us all. Our Server Kai mastered a large party order with split bills.

Visiting this restaurant for the first time, the atmosphere is relaxed, and we had good service. The Cheddar's Painkiller drink was really good. The only thing I didn't like was that my dish was supposed to have chicken and shrimp, but they forgot the shrimp and brought them later after a while. Also, if you arrive with a party of more than 6 people, they don't have tables to seat everyone together, so they split you into separate groups

It was so good. I have never ordered pasta at a restaurant before but the grilled shrimp Alfredo just kept calling me. A drastic change from the chicken tenders I normally get and I'm so glad I went with my first mind. The Key West was really flavorful and that bourbon sauce on the chicken really gives it's that bit of zing! It was really good. Our server was patient because we were undecided but the third time she came to take our order we were ready. Long story short, we didn't get our croissant until we left and we got a couple containers. Because of the wait we were offered drinks. And as you can see from the bottom of my cup, it was real strawberries. I never get juices or drinks but I would order this again. Let it water down a bit and it was perfect. Oh, make sure you have a jacket because it was freezing inside. and it was about as loud as you would expect for a Friday.

As we visited for the first time, Houston, Texas, to visit a dear friend in Katy, we stopped for dinner at this location right next to our hotel. The server named Key was such a sweet young lady, very informative after we told her it was our first time at Cheddar's. For the appetizer, she mentioned the spinach dip, and she brought out complimentary bread glazed with butter and cheese that was so yummy as was the spinach dip. My wife and I ordered a full slab of ribs with coleslaw and rice and beans. It was really good and even though we shared the ribs it was too much and I took some to our friend. I had the Maui Margarita, and my wife had a beer. I also talked to another young lady who worked there, and she told me her manager was from chicago

I grew up going to cheddars almost every other weekend because it's my dad's favorite restaurant . Took him to eat here for Father's Day and it was not busy at all. Food is always consistent , so no complaints about that. Love how their drinks are pretty cheap.

Using Waze this is a hard place to find as it is behind office buildings not on the feeder as the address suggests. Further finding outdoor parking is not possible at a peak hour but note that there is an easily accessible parking garage. This Treebeards appearance was very pretty (not what I was expecting giving my experience with the downtown location and I am not sure that it is still around). Also, some other nice restaurants in this block. The restaurant was packed with professionally dressed people. The waiter took our order, and he was accommodating to substitutions and our selection of side orders. I got fried catfish. This is not a normal selection for me as I will normally avoid fried foods other than fries and chips (yes, and I wonder why I do not lose the 5 lbs. that I need to lose). Service was quick and our order was perfect. The friend catfish was outstanding as it was right out of the fryer. It was a very pleasant experience and I would happily go back.

Luckily for you, I visited this place so you wouldn't have to!…read more I cringe at this place. Sticky tables and floors, dirty menus, dusty dishes and ceilings. Tiny bathrooms- can't get in and out without touching something. Our waitress was a few weeks in and tried her best. The fountain drinks were absolutely disgusting and needed to be recalibrated. I settled with the only bottled soft drink available to be safe, a root beer with 79 grams of sugar! The Bakers Special pizza was a greasy and sloppy mess and instantly fell apart just by looking at it. It had mondo chunks of meat that didn't pair well with the sauce. My husband recommended this place from his visit a few years ago but it clearly went downhill. It's an old dilapidated mess. Cushion chairs were 20+ years old with sticky stains and butt intentions on them. It was giving biker bar and made me very uncomfortable. I was afraid I'd get sick just being in the environment. The patrons were old, obnoxious perverts. Someone even brought their dog in there (not a service dog). I couldn't overlook it's condition and the food wasn't any better. There are definitely way better options on Westheimer. EEEEYUCK!

They had some off nights too, like the time I went in at around 11 pm and a very salty, old waitress (she was a hag) said, "f--- this! I'm not serving anyone!" She started putting chairs on top of tables. That was long ago. Today, the place is dirty and dusty. Little gnats fly around trying to get into your drink. Pizza is either undercooked or too charred. On this occasion, undercooked and just gross. Expensive too. The last few times I've been, it was burnt. Maybe there's something wrong with their oven. Rough crowd too. Their clientele has gotten way worse. Don't think I'll ever go back.

Just a heads up, this place is counter service, so you order at the front and then grab a table. The crawfish garlic butter sauce actually has really good flavor, but the crawfish themselves weren't very juicy. It tasted like most of the flavor stayed on the outside rather than soaking into the crawfish. If they let the crawfish sit in the sauce longer, I think it would make a big difference. The fried catfish was solid, and the whole wings were good. Regular wings were just okay. Prices are pretty reasonable though around $10/lb normally, and they are running a special of 5 lbs for $45. Overall, a decent spot with potential. If the crawfish were juicier, I'd definitely come back because the sauce itself is actually pretty good!

Because we had a fairly large party, we called ahead to either reserve a table or at least give the restaurant a heads-up that we would be coming. The person who answered the phone (I believe her name was Jessica) repeatedly hung up on us and told us that a reservation wasn't necessary. When we arrived, we were informed that the restaurant was fully booked and that the wait would be about 45 minutes. There was quite a bit of back-and-forth with the host staff, and while I'm not sure if they were new, their demeanor and handling of the situation did not leave a good first impression. Having worked in restaurants myself, I understand how hectic things can get during busy hours. However, the front-of-house staff seemed disorganized and largely indifferent to the situation. We asked if we could be seated outside, where the majority of the tables appeared to be available, and were told the wait would be about 15 minutes, which was completely reasonable if they needed some time to prepare. Thankfully, our servers went above and beyond and somehow managed to work some magic to get us seated inside. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and willingness to help turned what started as a frustrating experience into a much better one. They were the highlight of our visit (along with the food and drinks)
