Served what had to be day old chocolate croissants. Been to establishment at least 8 times in the last two months and ordered a chocolate croissant and it was always room temperature and flaky. This morning the croissant at 815 am was cold inside and gummy. Called bakery to inform them that the croissant tasted old,cold , and gummy. Of course they insisted it was made at 5 am and if I just heat it up, it will taste fine. I realize they were never going to admit they serve day old pasteries but their solution to the issue was giving me an email to the baker to let them know. I used to live nearby downtown in Greensboro and this location is perfect, on elm st there is limited parking but right across from cheesecakes by alex is two parking lots. make sure you don't park in the wrong spot though!!!!!! Gotcha Towing will immediately tow you, no mercy. You can't go wrong with getting cheesecakes but I've also had some of the pastries, ice cream, and coffee drinks. They are all great!! The pastries by the register are always priced low, .50 cent per cookie, I mean, can it get any better !!?? They have gluten free options as well. The cream cheese brownies are great, and the muffins !! The line can be out the door sometimes but it is always quick service. I enjoy sitting at the desk area they have, it's easy to zone out and focus on my studies. They have an additional room with more seating as well! This place sucks! The most rude employees I've ever dealt with. The owner needs to put more time into training these employees and how they should treat customers paying for mediocre cheese cake.
