I hope my doctor isn't following me or sees this. I'm not suppose to be having carbs. I am always looking for a good pizza place. I've driven by this place several times. The name never gave me confidence that it was an authentic New York pie. This week I decided to give it a try. It was a little less expensive than what I was expecting. Nowadays, it's a treat to be able to buy a pie for under $20. I was a little skeptical. I got a cheese pie to go, so I can't say too much about the service but Kami was ready when we got there so I guess that's good service. Good crust, good sauce and good cheese. Not great, but very good. I'll admit I'm a little bit picky when it comes to pizza being from the East Coast. I would try this place again and maybe I'll get adventurous and try something other than a cheese pie next time. 3 1/2 is my ratings. read more

I cannot begin to say the positive things about this little but mighty pizza spot! The food is delicious and reminds me of the city! Service is phenomenal the coat you see everyone just throwing down and making pies as a team makes my heart happy and reminds me of the City! You can watch games some shows chitchat just enjoy a good time and be apart of the whole atmosphere. They do support and love EMS/LEO's Hands down the best Sicilian pie I've had outside of the city! Been here a few times. Twice for a single slice of meat lover's and once for a large meat lover's takeout. It's right down the street from my house so I really wanted it to be good. For the single slices, the crust is great because it hasn't sat in the box all the way home. The problem is the toppings. It's loaded with mostly cheese on top and the stuff between it and the main pizza isn't evenly cooked. It's still decent though. The biggest problem is the large takeout pie. The crust is still better than most but definitely loses its crunch. Still a good crust though. My gripe is the toppings. There is very little meat on the meat lover's pizza. It's more of a doesn't-hate-meat-but-not-really-a-fan pizza. It's about 1/2 of what pizza hut gives. It may be just the one takeout pie that I got but even if it is, that means their quality control isn't the greatest. If I get another and they put a sufficient amount of meat on it, I'll update my review. read more

We're always on the lookout for a great local pizza place and we found it this week at Grande Pizza. I've had this location saved for months. Our family decided Sunday to head over because we were all craving wings and pizza. I'm so glad we came. The inside isn't anything fancy...your typical mom and pop spot. That's what we love though. The food speaks for itself here. The service was amazing the second we walked in. They were friendly, patient while we asked questions about the beers on tap and allowed us to try a sample to make sure we liked it before ordering. There were even a few police officers eating inside. That also tells me it was going to be good. They always seem to know the good spots . We settled on the special with 20 wings and a large pizza plus an antipasto salad. Everything came out quickly. The wings had good flavor and crispy but not dry. The pizza crust was crisp and not soggy which was a definite win. The salad was good. My only complaint is my dang kid wouldn't stop stealing my olives and cheese ha ha . Access to the location easy and the parking no problem as it's located in a massive shopping center. When we arrived it was almost dead. However the entire time we were there people were coming in and out picking up orders, the delivery guy coming and going and people dining in. I know we'll definitely be back. read more

It's the closest NY style you can get. Being from back East I really enjoy a good NY style pizza, and Grande Pizza, hits the spot. This was our first time dining at Grande Pizza but it won't be my last. The folks at Grande Pizza are doing things right. If you like NY style pizza, being at Grande's is like getting a slice of home. on this visit we shared pizza, winds, and a calzone, everything was delicious. The Sicilian style pizza was some of the best I've had in a very long time, with it's light fluffy crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and perfect combination of cheese and toppings. It was amazing as was our large pepperoni, thin and crispy New York style , and our wings were ridiculously crispy and meaty. EhRvi really appreciate is none of our dishes were greasy, You can taste the quality of ingredients. Classic "don't judge a book by its cover" kind of place. Yes it is I'm a crappy strip mall but the restaurant is clean, the staff is very polite, and anytime I see tables reserved for regulars I know I'm at the right spot. So Steve O (review below) stick to your corporate pizza places that you live so much and quit attacking family run businesses that have been around for decades. The pizza is fantastic, the dough has to be homemade, the toppings were fresh and plentiful. We drive half an hour to pick up pies from grande and the pizza makes the trip back exceptionally well, still hot, gooey and delicious. We're having a crew lunch today so I'll see you guys soon for 3 pies. read more

My son and I came here to chill and have lunch together. The pizza was amazing and the wings were perfect. We also had some mozzarella sticks with marinara. Nice clean restaurant with two big tvs. The staff was nice and attentive. The only complaint I have is the ranch was prepackaged single servings. Ranch is such an important part of a pizzeria, I would have liked to see house made ranch option. 9/10 would recommend and will definitely be back. The ranch is the only thing that kept it from a full 10 for me. Btw my son LOVED the place. read more

Stopped into Grande Pizza this afternoon after my daughter's soccer match. They greeted us as we walked in and waited our turn in line. Once up to order I asked about ordering gf. The gentleman and young lady at the counter said they have gf and how they prepare it. They also showed me the ingredients they use in their gf crust. Which I very much appreciated. I ordered an anti past salad and made changes to the salad they noted all requests with a smile. They delivered the food and offered to get us anything else. Both staff was very friendly and courteous. When done she boxed our leftovers for us. As we walked out they thanked us for our business and invited us back again. Wow! 5 star service. 5 star food. Very clean establishment as well! Overall 4.5. I recommend this pizza place for families and will be back again! read more

The staff claimed they didn't receive it but door dash adamantly stated it was cancelled by the restaurant and they could see it on their end- I emailed about this and no response. Tonight we called ahead and asked how late they took to go orders And they told us 830. We called at 815 to place an order and they told us their kitchen was closed. Same person we spoke to 1 hour prior. We called ahead to make sure to plan our dinner time. I consider this poor service now that it's happened twice and I felt the first time we were lied to and it was never addressed. Food can be great but if customer service is bad, it makes the overall experience poor. Very disappointing - as we love the restaurant and we live right in this neighborhood and love supporting our local businesses.

The pizza and wings are amazing and their lunch specials are an absolute bargain. I had a slice and a small drink and the pizza was so good. The funny thing is my coworker, that was driving, said I could have whatever I wanted. I chose this Barro's and as we were in line he mentioned that a while back he had a bad experience at another location. After trying the pizza slices he ordered, he said he was going to go back to see if it was a one time thing. This location was clean and it had a salad counter. I still have to order the wings but we were having a quick lunch while making some sales calls so we decided to just grab a slice and go.
