My review only goes for pick up and not eating at the restaurant. My husband and I ordered the shrimp chow fun, Singapore rice noodles, and an order of egg rolls. Everything was very tasty and the portions were huge! They were not skimpy on the proteins either and the prices were reasonable as well! I could eat like 20 of those tasty little egg rolls lol. I will order more next time. I highly recommend giving this Chinese restaurant a try. We will be eating here from now on instead of at Big Buddha. I will update this when I try something different or have more experiences here. read more

Fried rice was terrible. Had the Orange chicken which was ok. Very plain inside. Vent fans and ceiling fans were disgusting.

I placed an order through a website that I thought was linked to the restaurant directly. I never ended up getting my food! However, I called shortly after the restaurant closed and the owner answered! I explained the situation and he was very apologetic, saying he hadn't received the order! He contacted the company on my behalf and requested that they issue a refund for the inconvenience. I got a refund the next day. Patrick is wonderful and I will continue going here! Just Somewhat Average This was my first visit to Chef Panda. The restraunt is clean and the staff are accommodating On this visit I ordered egg drop soup, chicken egg foo young, and bbq pork (appetizer). The soup was one of the best that we've had. The portion size for the bbq pork was good, although it didn't come with rice and the pork was somewhat overcooked, I really didnt care for the taste. The Chicken Egg Foo Young was just kind of average, not bad and not anything special. Will possibly return for soup and ms a different entree. read more

So yum! I was first recommended Chef Panda by my brother who is obsessed with their Crab Puffs. I am anti-seafood, but nonetheless he was right! My family has been ordering takeout here ever since the Covid shutdowns began. I've lost track of how many meals I've had from there. And I have never had a bad meal. Tonight was beyond great! The worst Chinese food I've had since moving here to Arizona. No sauce on my chicken thank god I asked for extra sauce on the side. The fried rice was just burnt and the hot and sour soup went straight into the trash. Nasty tasting and I found what I believe was a big shrimp in it. read more

If I could them 10 stars I would. So we have been ordering from them for a while now to the point they know us and what items we get. That being said we ordered tonight and grub delivered. As soon as they showed I told the driver that this was only half of the order. I then looked over the order and it was all messed up. I called them back and they apologized right away. In fact the owner himself remade the entire order and delivered it himself with a few extra items to boot. OMG we have so much food and it is delicious. Decided to go here for a consolation substitute dinner. The place is empty and looks like any other fast food American-Chinese food. Ordered Chef Panda Beef and Seafood Chow Fun. Very surprisingly, they were very good with generous portions. The Chow Fun was one of the best I have had and my husband loved his beef dish. It seems like majority of people order food to go or delivery. Service was fairly quick. Very happy that there is a great Chinese place here in Surprise. Will be back here for more. read more

This used to be a regular spot for us, then we moved so we don't go as frequently. It's been a few months since our last pick up. I have to say I was really disappointed in my meal. We ordered the kids orange chicken with all steamed rice. The "adult" orange chicken has always come with the sauce on the side previously. This meal came with the chicken soaking in the sauce in the food container. It was super soggy which was not appetizing. They have also changed their containers, the rice was in a styrofoam box, also soggy and cold. I hope it was just a bad night but not sure when it will sound good again with this disappointing meal. read more

Not only is the food delicious and always fresh and piping hot, the customer service is above and beyond, I've been going for 4 years and I've never had an issue, well I did have a delivery order wrong one time, and they immediately made it right for me, and the next time I went in the order was on them... The staff was very friendly, the prices were great. The food on the other hand....I ordered the Chicken fried rice with extra Chicken. The chicken was very rubbery and chewy. We had the General Tsao Chicken, Orange Chicken, House Chicken, and Lo Mein. The chicken dishes all had a distinctive sauce, delicious chunks of battered white meat chicken, and different levels of spice. The lo mein was slightly bland but that may be because my daughter ordered it without veggies. I will give it another try with veggies. To top it off, the delivery person from the restaurant was quick and so pleasant! And we received a little trinket with our order. This was our first experience with Chef Panda and I must say, my husband and I were extremely happy with everything about the restaurant, from signing up for an account, having the food delivered and then enjoying a wonderful dinner. Their site was easy to navigate, an employee I talked to and also the person who delivered our food couldn't have been any nicer. The food was delivered on time and hot. My husband appreciated that but we also have to say that the food was delicious! Just like we had hoped, it was the best Chinese food we have tasted in a long time. We recently moved to El Mirage which has very limited delivery options. We tried Chen & Wok which we were more than unimpressed with. We tried to order online (Chef Panda) but it said my address was out of the delivery area. So I called and double checked. They told me they would deliver to us. The food came in the time frame promised. The man who delivered our food was one of the nicest delivery people I've encountered. He gave us a free pair of Minnie Mouse ears which was pretty awesome and original. The food was packaged as if it were very precious cargo. He even said "thank you for letting me serve you" before leaving. The sauces were in separate containers, as was the chicken and sides. The chicken was impeccably cooked, the low mein was delicious. Nothing was weighed down by a bunch of oil. This was by far the best Chinese food I've had in Arizona. read more

After trying several Chinese restaurants in the area we finally hit a winner! I wanted to try a chicken dish and also a beef and both were outstanding! My husband got the beef lo mein, I got the chicken and vegetables and beef and pea pods and also beef fried rice. I would recommend all of these! best crab puffs in the area... also, I have yet to order an entree that I didn't like, so far. They're all awesome, flavorful and quite tasty. The younger people who work up front are also super nice & helpful - I had a semi-fiasco moment with postmates one night but the girl who works at Chef Panda called me before I even knew what was going on. Update: Just tried the Chef Panda chicken and it was so good!! It's sweet & tangy almost like a sweet & sour sauce with a hint of wing sauce mixed in. It's not spicy at all though. I would definitely order it again. I also tried the beef skewers and thought they were so so. They were good but didn't have the flavor I was expecting. read more

First time here...ordered chef special, chicken house rice, and Mongolian beef. The food was fresh and delicious. The owner was very kind and even gifted me a Mardi gras mask for Halloween. No military discount and rice could use more moisture. However, portions are family size so it's best to share. This is a great new find, fresh and yummy. We will be back for sure. read more

Chef Panda is the best chinese resteraunt our family has ever found. Not only because of the food, but because of the owner and service as well. Patrick, the owner, usually always delivers. During christmas time we get our santa hat from him that my kids LOVE. One time he even went back to his car and brought my son back a toy since what they were passing out at the time he couldn't play with. Their food is always fresh, always delicious, their costumer service for delivery or inside the resteraunt is always amazing! Food is not good and was not hot. Don't plan to eat in. The decor is bare and uninviting. THe dumplings are terrible and the sweet and sour chicken does not contain fruit or vegetables. All together a horrible experience. read more
