We were given a paper to fill out, basic contact information and preference of the intensity of the massage, type of massages, and concerned areas. Wonderful experience at the E 43rd St location. I made a last minute appointment because I found myself with some free time and they were easily able to accommodate me. The location is in an unassuming office building, but the staff was very friendly and room itself was outfitted perfectly... but the massage by Teddy was the highlight. It was maybe one of the best deep tissue massages I've had. Strong, but not painful. Very therapeutic for my lower back and behind my shoulder blades, which was exactly where I asked him to focus. I got the deep tissue massage after getting several Charley horse cramps in my calves and thighs, and no amount of stretching helped it out. It hurt to even stretch or self-massage that area. I found this place on Yelp so I went in, filled out the paperwork and asked the therapist to focus on calves and shoulders and after, it was much better - no pain when walking or stretching, and I felt much looser. read more

Not terrible. Not great. I've had deep tissues massages before but unfortunately, I did not walk out feeling stretched, relaxed, or womanhandled. By the time I got to the lobby, my body felt no different than when I walked in. My masseuse spent the better half of the massage talking about her kids, her family, and some other masseuse she worked with who went on vacation. At one point she paused the massage to show me pictures on her phone. Someone knocked on the door and interrupted the session to communicate with her. After voicing her shock, I *believe* she texted them to let them know she was inside. The phone vibrated a few times, which I felt, so I suspect it was on the massage table. I also had to pay for the massage before the session. When she got to the tip page, she was barely a foot away so I felt pressured to tip well, which I succumbed to, hoping it would work in my favor. They immediately knew who I was when I walked in, offered me water, a bathroom visit before we began. I had the pleasure of being massaged by Sue. We went through a Thai combination massage which was heavenly. Within 5 minutes a massive crack could be heard from my upper back. Thai massages stretch you every which way and require body pressure from the masseuse, but it is well worth it despite its obscurity. Once I was done, I felt so light, I swayed. I wanted to sleep. I made an appointment for a 60 minutes sports massage with an option to increase to 90 minutes dependent on whether the masseuse thought I needed it. After you enter the location, you walk into the common room where you are asked to change out of your shoes and into a pair of slippers. They give you a cup of tea to enjoy before your massage. I was shown to a private room. There are 2 other rooms with 2 beds for couple massages. It was nice to find the bed was slightly heated. Tran (if I remember correctly) helped me with my knots though it felt more like a deep tissue massage more than a sports massage. Before you ask how I know, I had sports massages previously so I know the difference. She helped me with my knots and aches so I was fine though next time if I go again I will go with the deep tissue instead of sport massages, which are more expensive. There was relaxing music playing in the background so its easy to fall halfway asleep. I felt relaxed though I still have knots remaining and might have to come back. Afterwards, they have me a cup of warm water to flush out the toxins. They accepted credit cards. Cute place though the non-descriptive door might be confusing if you ring the door and no one answer. Received a gift card as a gift and finally got to use it! My boyfriend and I went for a couples massage and it was amazing from as soon as we walked into until after the massage. We received small bottle of Prosecco to share and nice chocolates plus a cute Instagram photo moment. Then the massage room was decorated so nicely. I booked my wife's appointment last night past your work hours. While it was a late booking, it was confirmed and nowhere on the booking email does it say that the massage couldn't be paid for by the card provided at booking. I've attached your confirmation receipt for reference. You replied to my wife claiming you spoke to me. We did not. You replied to my wife that I refused to provide an additional card. You did not. Your confirmation email is nothing other than a receipt, and while it shows a balance was outstanding, it does not stipulate the physical card would need to be present at the time of transaction. As a new client and possible repeat user of your spa, I'm astonished that you didn't attempt to apologize or even seek out further clarity on the matter. To point the finger at myself immediately, as I was only trying to gift my wife a relaxing experience on Mother's Day is really disappointing. We were looking forward to utilizing your spa continuously, but integrity matters and we cannot do business with liars or unfair business people. I hope you reflect on this and make changes in your policy to reward and encourage paying customers, as well as provide clarity and accountability to all your clients. This place was really cute but hard to find when you first come in. It's inside a building on the 3rd or 4th floor, I forget, but it was hidden on 29th ave. When you first walk in, you're greeted by two very lovely ladies who were so friendly and helpful. The entire place, although small, was very quaint and clean and had soothing, relaxing vibes all throughout. My boyfriend and I got the couple's massage. It was a bit pricey, but it came with chocolates, a champagne toast, and complimentary polaroid photo at the end. We both felt light as feathers after and we were never rushed to leave the room when enjoying our champagne. The staff was very welcoming and friendly upon arrival. The massage was great. The room felt slightly cold when she used the hot towel to remove oil residue. The checkout system is horrible. My husband booked the massage with his card as a gift for me for Mother's Day. The credit card was only to HOLD the reservation and the same card cannot pay for the service. I've never heard of a system that does that. They explained they've experience fraud. So they said next time buy a gift card to pay for services. I asked if she could process the gift card for me with my husbands card, she couldn't do that. His card wouldn't not allow me to add it to my Apple Pay. I ended up paying for the massage with my card because no cards could be entered manually. I needed the actual physical card. This checkout system ruined the whole experience for me. It's suppose to be a gift and at the end they were asking me for payment. I was confused. The same card to make the reservation should be able to pay for services. They need a better UPDATED system.
