Fried dumplings, boneless spareribs and chicken with broccoli
Cecilia T.

Officially my new favorite Chinese takeout spot. My usual place, East Shore Wok is closed on Sundays and I was craving Chinese food so thanks to Yelp, I decided to give this place a try. I've tried quite a few things from here and everything was delicious. Prices are slightly higher than my usual place but the food is definitely comparable, maybe even better except for the fried chicken wings. Both their boneless and bone-in BBQ spareribs were really good as well as their teriyaki beef skewers and chicken with broccoli. Their fried dumplings were really thick and doughy with very little meat inside. Reminds me of Shanghai pork buns. Nonetheless, the food is good and the service is quick & friendly. Can't wait to go back to try their noodles, honey shrimp and chicken dishes.

Chicken Lo Mein, Pork Fried Rice, and Steamed Pork Dumplings

This place has become my go-to for Chinese food. Definitely exceeds the other Chinese takeout restaurants in the area. Today, I ordered myself a Chicken Lo Mein, Pork Fried Rice, and Steamed Pork Dumplings. My food delivery experience was great- everything came nice and quick ! The food was also still hot when it arrived. Overall very delicious, and it wasn't too salty, which I loved. Most places tend to throw on loads of it. Prices are fair and they give great portions. Would definitely recommend.

Chicken Broccoli with Pork fried rice

Right away, I am impressed. I lived in Flushing for 15 years and moved onto Long Island at the start of 2021. I have tried various Chinese American takeout spots in my area and nothing has satisfied my cravings until today. I had my fair share of delicious Chinese/Szechuanese/American takeout and I must say, this is my new spot on Long Island. Excellent customer service, quick delivery, food was very hot upon arrival, and affordable prices. Highly highly recommend.

General Tso's chicken

We heard about this place from our son's friend who lives nearby. In these tough times, I figured it's nice to spread the love across the local family run places. We ordered our standard dishes: General Tso's chicken, mushu pork, steamed vegetables with chicken, eggroll, and because they offered free pork fried rice or soda, we picked the fried rice. General's chicken was a bit of a letdown. Normally, I expect the sauce to be kind of thick and the chicken, when freshly made, is still piping hot and crispy despite the sauce. But the sauce here was a little thin and the chicken was kind of mushy. The mushu pork was the unremarkably good kind accompanied by the thin wrapper and a small thing of hoisin sauce. Hard to get wrong and thankfully, they didn't. Similarly, the steamed veg and chicken was as expected. My son reported the eggroll as satisfyingly crunchy and tasty. The surprising winner was the free pork fried rice. It had that wok-hay flavor that you just can't replicate at home. It was full of small but meaty pork chunks (and not all gristly). I'm definitely going to try the house special fried rice next time. I hear the Sinagpore maifun is pretty good there. Looks like we'll be going back!

Another wonderful meal tonight at one of our favorite Long Island spots--we've been coming here…read moreregularly since last year, and it never disappoints. From the moment you walk in, the entire team is welcoming and warm, but Tiffany truly stands out. She is gracious, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful--someone who remembers you and makes you feel like more than just a table. Tonight, when things slowed down a bit, we had the chance to catch up and share a few laughs, which made the evening feel even more special. As for the food, it was just as impressive. I had the twin lobster with ginger and scallion over E-Fu noodles--rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. My husband ordered his usual--eggs with mixed vegetables--which isn't on the menu, but they always accommodate when possible. He thoroughly enjoyed it, as he always does. Fresh, delicious food paired with standout, heartfelt service is exactly why we keep coming back. This place has truly become one of our regular favorites.

Dimsum place out in Long island. It looks like a diner from the outside, and inside. There is the…read morediner countertop. The good thing about this place id that there are parking spaces. Dimsum is adequate. Not as good as the dimsum place in Flushing, but not horrible. The taro crescent is good. Raddish cake is also good along with the young chow fried rice. The soy sauce in the rice roll is a bit too sweet. Shrimp in the shrimp dumpling lacks flavor. Overall, I will come here if I live around here.

RESTAURANT QUALITY FOOD , THE PLACING OF THE DISHES ARE PURE RESTAURANTS STULE WITH UNIQUE PLATING. NUMEROUS AUTHENTIC ASIAN DISHES. They have WHOLE LOBSTER, WHOLE MUSSELS, BRISKET, SHORT RIBS AND MORE. They serve wine and beer. You can actually grab a drink while waiting for your food to go. A MUST HAVE PLACE AND DEFINITELY DINE IN FOR SURE TO GET MORE OF THE EXPERIENCE. Everything was so delicious. I had leftovers which I ate for breakfast today. Ate some of the Pu Pu Platter as snack and some of the lunch special about 30mins ago. And I'm having the rest as my late dinner. The words that come to mind on their dishes are DELICIOUS, FRESH, TENDER, CRISPY, MOIST and JUICY. At Happy Garden the prices are very reasonable and great portion size. Lunch specials are amazing. Lunch just for me I ordered a 3 lunch specials, 1 appetizer and 1 main dish. Add veggies for a couple xtra dollars to the fried rice. It's worth it. Fresh and hand cut veggies. The pork in the pork fried rice you get in every bite. All dishes are delivered hot that's why I always keep tipped 20%. * Lunch Special: BBQ Ribs with pork fried rice and hot&sour soup. Ribs are moist, sweet and juicy. Hot&Sour Soup has the perfect amount of variety of veggies, broth and just delicious. * Lunch Special: Fried Chicken Wings with pork fried rice and Wonton soup. 4 pieces of whole perfectly fried chicken wings. Crispy crunch, moist, juicy and flavorful. Wonton Soup was just perfect. Wonton thickness, fillings and broth was delicious. * Lunch Special: Beef mixed veggies with pork fried rice and egg drop soup. Great portion of thick sliced seasoned Beef which was so tender and flavorful. Hand cut veggies (cut baby corn, whole red peppers, broccoli, sliced mushrooms, celery, onions and carrots). * Pu Pu Platter. I was so shocked they had Pu Pu Platter. (2 Ribs, 2 Beef sticks, 2 Spring Rolls, 2 Large Shrimp Tempura, 2 Crab Rangoon and Shrimp Toast served on a bed a salad) 100 PERFECTION ON ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. All the textures and flavors you can imagine. TENDERNESS, CRISPY, MOIST, CRUNCHY and JUICY. * Singapore Noodles. You got a mixed of meat here. Chicken, pork and shrimp then the noodles and veggies. I'm telling you. So delicious and absolute perfection. The noodles were cooked just rice. Curry not over powering and everything was just so delicious.

We were greeted by a friendly waitress and the atmosphere was relaxing and quite pleasant. My mother had her BBQ spare-ribs with roast pork fried rice and I had chicken with broccoli also with roast pork fried rice, wonton soup and we each had ice cream. The service and food were very good and there was plenty of parking and once we found the restaurant we were very easily able to find our way back to Lakeville Road to Macy's to do our Christmas shopping. We will definitely return and probably order something else next time. It is definitely worth a second visit!
