Great food. Good service. This place has good seafood and anything else that you can think of. Good comfort food and you won't pay a lot.

Brought the wife and kids here. We were a little leery of the place since it looked kind of run down from the outside but it everything was even better than expected. And we were stunned by how reasonable the price was. I am going to crave their Delmonico steak sand which with cheese and mushrooms for many more visits to come. I waited almost 2hrs for two cheese burger no apologies at all for poor customer service and the person who delivered the food was not friendly either I will not be ordering from here again it's sad because the food is good but if that's how you treat your customers I will not contribute my pay check to that type of service read more

Great food! We've been here several times, and typically have a very good experience. A couple of times the TV has been a little loud, and I think Law & Order SVU may not always have the type of topics that restaurant goers want to think about while eating dinner. This place is ok but a little over priced and over rated. Some things on the menu are very good and others are very mediocre but they are all over priced. They should have a smaller menu and put out a great meal every time. To pay $16 for a chicken dinner and get a dried out small portion of obviously frozen chicken is a joke. On the other hand things like the clams and the mozzarella cheese bytes are a treat. They are often busy though so I doubt they have any incentive to get better. read more

This restaurant has good food and the mozzarella. Balls are FANTASTIC. the cheese that they use in them are from a local cheese shop, calandras. However, I have only been there a few times and had one bad experience. The waitress wasn't friendly, seemed to rush us, and didn't know if they had cheddar cheese. How do you not know if the restaurant you work at has cheddar cheese. She didn't even go look or ask. read more

The food was awesome with a great laid back atmosphere. The decor was a bit sparse at best but a cold pint of Dog Fish Head down and I felt right at home. The oyster po boy was fried to perfection and massive despite the low cost with great, fresh condiments. Perfect compliment to a cold brew. Chicken pot pie out of this world (and also massive). Pleasantly surprised by the jalapeño 'poppers'...not fried but roasted and stuffed with crab meat and bacon. Delicious and fresh. Desserts were a bit stale...not memorable. Great value: inexpensive yet great food! Everything I've had has been good, plus friendly, fast service.

We have made 3 attempts to eat here. The first time, shortly after the current owners took over was OK. The food was good, however, the wait was incredibly long. Our second attemp was a few weeks later. We sat for 40 minutes without being given a menu and listening to the servers argue over who's turn it was to take our table. Our 3rd attempt was a few weeks ago. Our party of 3 arrived on a Friday night. There were plenty of parking spaces available and many open tables in their dining room. We were met by a waitress/hostess who asked if we had a reservation. We were a little surprised at that question, but told her no. Although there were many empty tables, we were told they could only accommodate us at the bar. I thanked her for her time and told her we' try back another time. With plenty of attitude, the waitress/hostess told us to make a reservation for our next visit if we wanted to eat there. There will not be a next time for us. The web site suggests reservations for parties of 5 or more. Their most recent add in the Express-Times doesn't even mention the need of reservations. As a side note, we went right down the road to an Italian restaurant where we were seated immediately (without having a reservation) and had a delicious meal. I would rate Cherry Hill hotel with zero stars. read more

Dinner at Cherry Hill Hotel this past Saturday with my wife. We live close and have visited many times over the last few years. We have been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food has always been good. Service, on the other hand is sometimes slow even at times when the restaurant is not that busy. This past Saturday we arrived early, a few minutes after 5:00 PM and as the sign said seated ourselves. A few minutes later we were told, in a rather rude way, that we would have to be moved, that this booth was reserved. At the time I was thinking this might not be so good tonight. Well, we were moved to a table and ended up with a different waitress that was very good throughout our visit. We both started out with salads that were fresh and very good. We then had the clams casino and bacon wrapped scallop appetizers, again very good. For dinner my wife had one of the specials, roast duck with a cherry sauce, I had the oyster poor boy special, both very good. We both enjoyed the meal and the service was very good. As we were leaving I noticed that there was a line of customers waiting to get tables. They must be doing something right. read more
