    Large Tom Kha Soup

The Thai food here tasted average. It was good but didn't wow me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside of the restaurant was spacious and nicely themed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I only wished our server followed up on us. I only really saw them when they took our order, give us our drinks and food, then finally the bill. They didn't offer me any refills on my drink even though I ordered an Iced Tea.

Why go to the other restaurant in the business park when you can eat here? Staff was friendly. Food was phenomenal! Cup of the Tom Kha soup, Soft Shell Crab in a curry sauce and the Basil Crispy Pork Belly. The pork belly melts in your mouth and the curry is wonderful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small place that smells like home cooking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Please try this place, you won't regret it.

3 stars strictly because the kitchen is doing its job. Everything else needs serious work. We came in on March 16, 2026 around 6 PM and ordered the crispy chicken fried rice and yellow beef curry. Both dishes were genuinely great. Flavorful, fresh, and exactly what you'd hope for. That's the only reason this isn't a lower rating. Service, on the other hand, has been consistently disappointing across multiple visits. No greeting when we walked in. No acknowledgment when we left. Not a single check in during the meal. And this isn't just a one off experience. It's happened before. What makes it worse is the contrast. While we were being completely overlooked, I watched the server be noticeably more attentive and friendly with other tables. It wasn't subtle. It's uncomfortable to sit there and feel like you're being treated as an afterthought while others are getting actual service. To top it off, my partner's iced tea was forgotten again. Something that also happened during a previous visit. At that point, it stops feeling like a simple mistake and starts feeling like a pattern of carelessness. And let's be real. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The overall attitude comes off unnecessarily bougie for a casual Thai restaurant. Yes, this is near Napa Valley wine country, but that doesn't justify selective hospitality or a cold, dismissive vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Take that energy somewhere else if it means certain customers are going to be treated differently. I'm not here to speculate on intent, but I am calling out the experience. As returning customers, we've repeatedly felt unwelcome and overlooked. That's not acceptable in any restaurant, especially one that clearly has the potential to be great based on the food alone. Right now, the front of house is dragging this place down. Good food can't make up for service that makes people feel invisible.

Excellent customer service!!! We were on our way back home so grabbed few items to enjoy later... [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant is beautifully decorated & the service was excellent we got to speak with the staff member ( don't know if he is the owner) who took our order about our different cultures ....[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered- Shrimp Wonton soup - small Drunken Noodle - Fresh wide rice noodle sautéed with egg, chili, garlic, yellow onions, carrots, tomatoes, cabbage, green bean, red bell peppers and basil leaves. Spicy Eggplant Seafood - Eggplant stir-fried with yellow onions, red bell peppers and sweet basil leaves in our homemade sauce with Thai Jasmine Rice. We enjoyed the food very much & the portion was very generous- had leftovers for the next day too.. Seafood was very fresh . Whenever we are back in Napa we will definitely try it again.

We got a quick to go as we left Napa - we order the Shrimp wonton Soup, Drunken noodles and the Spicy eggplant with seafood . All were tasty and cooked well ! The person manning the ordering counter was very polite courteous and we had a great time conversing with him. He also helped choose the dishes and the portion ( lunch or dinner) very patiently. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience was very traditional and place looked very Thai![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will come back for a dine in the next time!

This is a casual dining with Traditional Thai dishes. They also serve beer and wine. We had crispy chicken over fried rice, drunken noodles beef, drunken fried rice spicy, and thai iced tea. Big portions, reasonably priced, good customer service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of parking in the plaza, small place with indoor and outdoor seating (inside).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Dined in on a Saturday afternoon - no wait and was seated quickly ! Our server brought out waters and menus right away and we ordered the usuals when we go to a Thai restaurant - yellow curry and pad thai. To start we also got a fresh roll and cheese wontons. All the food came out quickly and was good. One complaint though was that the fresh spring roll was not rolled very well and fell apart when I grabbed it. The yellow curry and pad thai were really tasty and full of flavor. Overall - service was great and food came out quickly so I will definitely be back to dine in again!

    Drunken Noodles Beef was delicious

First time trying this place and it lives up to the high reviews. Ordered several dishes and thoroughly enjoyed the beef and papaya salad, the drunken noodle was delicious, portions are generous for their salads. Tom yum soup was filled with lots of veggies and shrimp even for a cup and was the perfect amount. Lunch portion was good but the egg rolls we got were cold. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was friendly and modern in design.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would come back here next time!

Freaking delicious amazing food!!!! Claps for the mango curry, the Thai tea, and the iced green tea Service was attentive, quick, funny conversation. The lady sat my bf and I in a booth next to eachother, very thoughtful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Pleasant music and not too loud, decor is eye catching.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Also food presentation is peak!! Highly recommend this spot for your next Thai craving.

We were three ppl and 2 of them not so hungry. So ended up ordering just 1 starter, 1 soup and 1 main course. Don't go by quantities in pictures as I took them later after 1st serving. Roti curry was good but fried, in most places it's usually not fried I think in other Thai places. Tom kha vegetarian soup came with loads of tofu. May be I should have mentioned to have less tofu and more vegetables. Same for vegetation pad see eww noodles. Overall decent experience. But one person used to take order and some other guy used to serve so he didn't know which table ordered what and there was some confusion And our main course dish came half an hr after other dishes came. So there was a lot of wait.

Located in the same plaza as the movie theatre. Plenty of parking which is a huge plus to have especially when it can get busy on weekends. Overall the flavor of the food was there and the proteins were not overcooked. I opted for the garlic lunch combo with chicken. It was a lot of food, but a little pricier than average. Again though it's Napa so I'm not surprised. I would love to come back and try other dishes since food was prompt and service was continuous. This was a casual dining experience and was not overcrowded.

Seafood Green Seafood Curry; the seafood goes with that explosive flavor of the green curry. I would say this dish is umamilishous.

Just beyond the courtyard you can see from just about every area of the restaurant right into the kitchen, which is always fun. Without any surprise, there's an extensive wine list available as well as a fantastic list of mixed drinks and mocktails. Every dish was amazingly flavorful with attention to every detail. As visually beautiful as all the dishes tasted. Everything was made with quality ingredients and flawlessly executed. Crispy chicken fried rice - 10/10, chicken was juicy and super crispy, paired with two different sauces (1) some sort of creamy mayo aioli (2) sweet chili sauce; i personally preferred the sweet chili sauce. We were greeted by a gentleman with a fun sense of humor - can't really explain it, but he made us smile. The place is small, but very welcoming. We were shown to a window booth, where we chatted a bit before we looked at the menu. The server came to take our order and we had barely even looked. She told us to take all the time we needed. Eventually, we made our decisions. My friend got one of the lunch combos - a chicken curry (she chose red curry, you can also choose green or yellow), and I don't remember what the other combo item was. But everything looked delightful on her plate! On our way into the restaurant, I spotted a sign with a lunch special on it - crispy chicken kao soi, a noodle dish, and it looked good, so that's what I requested. It was quite yummy! The best part was the deeply flavored sauce that the noodles were nestled into - I could put it in a cup and drink it, it was soooo good, lots of savory fish sauce and just enough spice to keep it interesting. Besides the noodles actually in the sauce, there were crispy fried noodles on top as well, adding a nice texture variety. The picture doesn't really do it justice. I was hungry and dove in before I remembered to take the photo, oops. The chicken was breaded and laid on top of the noodles in thin slices, very nice and crunchy. We had Thai hot tea with our lunch - not the sweet kind, but the nice clean-flavored hot tea. It went perfectly with our dishes. I don't know exactly when either of us will get back to Benicia again, but if and when we do, I hope we can stop by Pearl Thai again!

*** Vegetarian Review ***…read more None of their dishes have fish sauce so you don't get knocked over the head with the smell when you walk in. They remind me every time I order, but as a vegetarian, we've all had that fish smell delivered to us at a Thai restaurant at least once (probably twice, more likely three times) in our eating lifetimes. It is such a relief to not have to worry about that here. Would I Come Back? Yes, when I'm in town, I make it a point to come here. Did I mention they don't use fish sauce!? Parking is is incredibly easy so that's never an issue. It's a shared parking lot with many stores and other restaurants. I typically go on a Sunday for lunch, and even with a party of 5, I haven't had to wait for a table. Seating capacity is probably 45-50 guests so if you're planning a large party, definitely best to call ahead and make a reservation. The Food: Roti & Yellow Curry ($14, Grade A+): Fried roti with a yellow curry dipping sauce. It's a super savory dish, and honestly, I should have had you at "fried." If you're wondering what roti is, think of it as a buttery, flaky, pan-fried flatbread. It's large enough appetizer to share with 3 people, but you're pushing your luck with 4. Pad Thai with Fried Tofu ($16, Grade A): I've had this dish 5 times now. To be completely transparent, it's the exact reason why I can't give Pearl Thai a full 5-star rating, purely because of consistency. The first time I got it, it was perfect. The second and third times, it had no sauce and was dry. The fourth time, I asked them to make it saucy, and they obliged to an almost soupy level. For this fifth time, I just ordered it straight up and zipped my lip on any alterations. As they say, the fifth time was a charm! When it's made with the perfect amount of sauce, this dish is excellent. The noodles have that exact texture you look for in a pad thai, and the egg gets that great scorch from the wok for an added layer of flavor. Also, the tofu has been incredibly fresh every single time. It never tastes slightly spoiled, which happens a lot in smaller towns that don't heavily support plant-based diets where tofu just sits in a fridge eagerly awaiting someone to order it. Mixed Vegetables ($14, Grade A): Sautéed wood ear mushrooms and mixed vegetables in a garlic soy sauce. If you've ever had Pad Pak, you already know this flavor profile. I really enjoyed it, but next time I'll ask for no carrots and maybe half the garlic. Overall, it's a perfect dish that absolutely requires steamed rice to soak up all that great flavor. Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango ($8, Grade A): The classic dessert we see at all Thai restaurants, but they serve it with purple sticky rice, making it a visually yummy dish. It's plenty of food to share between two people. Bottom Line: The service here is great and very friendly. It's a small, local shop with "Best in Town" awards highlighted on the walls. The environment is clean, and the food is served hot and arrives at the table quick. One Last Word: Don't leave here without ordering the roti with yellow curry for an appetizer. Pure savory goodness!
