My car was down to the last drop of gas literally. This Chevron in Arcadia was in plain sight right across the street from In-N-Out. It's a smaller station with about 8 gas pumps. I drove on over, pulled up to a gas pump, put in my credit card, take out my credit card, opened the gas tank, pumped a full tank of gas, closed the gas tank, and drove on out. Quick and easy. Didn't have any interaction with the staff. Didn't walk inside the ExtraMile Mart for anything. I love to pay at the pump. It's my preferred choice every time! I go inside to pay only if I have to. This was a quick stop for snacks and refreshments. I was not expecting much from the convenience store here, as it was a small gas station. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find some options that I haven't found at any other gas station convenience store. What am I talking about? Pulparinos! Not just one variety, but three! They also had the brand of iced tea that I like, which is good but isn't packed with high fructose corn syrup or other artificial sweeteners. I had so bad experience with this gas station. An employee at night was very rude and unkind for customer. I bought gas and super lotto. When I buy a super lotto with my winning tickets and cash, I thought she might understand my order since I wanted to buy it combined cash. My guess was right she could misunderstand my order. But she told me you made me confused and seemed like mad. I explained her you didn't listen to me when I explained my order twice. However, she still blamed me that I made her confused. Recently I come here I would get myself some lotto tickets and they would tell me the machine is not working. Had to check the pressure of all four tires while trying to prepare for a week of nonstop rain. It takes a moment for myself to run around the car to get all four tires and couldn't do it during the 3 minute time slot the machine grants. Went back in and patiently waited again until it was my turn at the counter. They knew what I wanted before I spoke but told me if I wanted the air turned on again to put my quarters in and pay for it. $1.50 for three minutes of air is steep. Four stars for what they're good for: gas! Never had a problem pumping gas at this gas station; they never ran out as far as I know. Usually about $0.10 cheaper than other surrounding Chevron gas stations. Paying cash vs credit card saves you even more. Easy access from/to the 210 fwy; a block away from the on/off ramp. Store has gas station items: junk food, coffee, bottled and canned drinks, more junk food, cigs, etc. Expect them to be gas station quality. I pushed my bike around back and waited for autozone to open, then went inside to ask if it was ok to leave my bike in back, pulled the battery and lyfted to Autozone to swap it. I was told no and that I needed to push it on the street. Bad customer service! Faulty air machine. I went in this gas station to put air in my tire. The air/water machine ate my quarters. I could then see quarters jammed in the air and water money slots. I go tell the attendant, he was unconcerned and rude, but he turned the machine on. The air hose was defective so it put air in very very slowly with a lot of effort. I had to ask the attendant 2 more times to turn on the machine, which he never did and was rude and condescending when I asked. I left with no air in my tire. Beware! This Chevron has tampered pumps. During a recent fill-up I noticed that pump #2 was pumping very slowly. The rate of flow is what initially gave me a bad feeling. I then noticed that the security tape securing the Weights and Measures panel at the face of the pump read "VOID VOID VOID". It didn't dawn on me until the following morning that it meant VOID! At the time, I didn't notice that the tape had been cut, therefore, I continued to pump fuel. Since I already had an odd feeling about this pump I began to watch the gallon-counter, which is a small meter just above the fuel grade buttons that tracks the amount and fuel/grade that each pump dispenses. The only counter that was moving was the counter for the 89 octane; I selected 91 octane! When my tank was full the pump handle did not shut off on its own and nearly a half-gallon of full gushed down the side of my car and onto the ground. I notified the clerk on duty and he gave me a blank stare and replied, "What can I do about it?" I didn't expect him to fix the pump on the spot, but I did expect him to at least apply some absorbent to soak up the spent fuel and cone off the area as a safety precaution. There are many things in this world that I cannot control, but I can at least control where I spend my money. I will never return to this station! I will also be reporting this station to the proper authorities and Chevron Corporate. read more

I went to this gas station a while ago and waited for a while to write this review because this is one of the most shady places I have ever known. I came here to get gas and paid inside because the credit card machine doesn't work. The person inside didn't hear me correctly and activated the wrong pump. Whoever at the pump quickly got a full tank of gas for over $60 and left. I was left with a bill and an empty tank. The gas station clerk was very rude as I came in to explain the situation and insisted that I told her the wrong number and told me I would not get a refund because it was my mistake. I know I clearly told her what the number was and asked her to get the manager. Their unhelpful manager who decided that we can split the bill. No I would not like to split the bill because I did not make a mistake. But I didn't want to waste my time for a small sum of money and I hate to spent another second of my time with these crooks so I took half of my money and left.
