I guess I gotta give the guys @ Chewerks 5 stars on account they bailed me out at the track!!! I went off and knocked my s2000 out of alignment. I thought I was going to have to get a tow home and lose track time but Robert was able to knock out an alignment right in the pits. I even manage to set my personal best at Streets of Willow with a little bit of tutelage. I have since gotten a litany of service items taken care of including: - my rear hubs/wheel bearings replaced - Chewerks baffled/trap door racing oil pan - Chewerks lithium lightweight battery - this was the first plug and play lithium ion solution I have seen. Robert is a great guy with excellent work ethics and is very knowledgeable in not just suspension, but cars in general. I like Robert who is the owner of Chewerks. He is friendly and knows what's he doing. But first of all, Robert is a pro about doing an alignment. My two cars both needs an alignment and I'm a person really looking for a correct straight with my steering wheel cuz I'm driving a lot. I was try different 2 alignment shops before but always shorts a little bit. I thought an alignment job is not making a space ship hard but I just didn't have a good luck. Until I found out Chewerks in Yelp. I want to try here because they have a high reviews. Guess what, that was the rightest decision and I'm appreciate what Robert did for my cars. He found out my first car needs a camber kits to help adjust the alignment and that inspection for free. (30 mins inspection on the rack) And for my second car Robert did a fast job in 40 mins. He even asked me what kind of driving style is I really want. Like, if I need my car has a better response at a turn or something normally. Then Robert will do the adjustment for my personal driving style. I feel good, better and great so same thing as my car I guess. At least, Robert did a fast and professional alignment job! I was referred to chewerks by a clean fitted Honda Fit randomly at a stoplight after getting told to pound sand at regular alignment shops that wouldn't align my car since it was (modified). I quickly gave them a call and Robert was able to schedule my Nissan 240sx next day (Sunday) which was awesome since my my m-f work schedule was all over. Robert lacks the attention to details and won't go the extra mile for your car. I went in for a corner balance and alignment job. After the job was completed, I noticed uneven wheel gaps between all four wheels. Although his weight balance machine shows 50% cross weight, my right and left weight balance were not even close to 50%. Robert didn't seem like he wanted to take the time to balance everything and to make sure my ride height was equivalent throughout all four corners. Now after about a month, i noticed my front passenger side wheel got even lowered, by about a finger length. So I removed the wheel and found one of the Ohlin's height adjuster locking bolt missing and the other bolt lose, causing the coilover to slam to the lowest position. This could be avoided if the height adjuster bolts were tighten down to spec. Because of this, my alignment and balance are off again. Basically money spent at chewerks is money down the drain. Will also need to figure out how to get a replacement bolt as it is a specialized bolt and Home Depot or Ace don't carry them. I won't be going back to Chewerk after this horrific experience. And I would suggest you to think twice before getting your car worked on here. read more

Called up and spoke with Robert. Told him that I needed a new corner balance and alignment for new coilovers that I installed on my miata. I've seen Chewerks cars at various track days and they were all Honda's so it was a shot in the dark that they may work on my miata. Sure enough Robert has an NC that he tracks and said he was more than happy to work on my car! When I got there I was greeted by him and he was ready for my car. Put it on the rack and went to town. My whole experience was great and Robert was super nice and knowledgeable. Usually most mechanics don't want to be bothered but he was eager to answer my questions. He asked how I wanted my car set up and he aligned it and balanced accordingly. The car drives great on the street I can't wait to take it out. My brother recommended this place to me after I just installed new tires. It's a single smaller shop that was hard to find at first because it's tucked away in a plaza with multiple shops , next to another plaza with multiple shops. Good service, courteous and easy going owner and this is a location that has the capability to handle regular daily drivers and track cars. A big reason I'm giving 5 stars is how the owner (I forgot his name but he's a pretty cool guy) handled my car when driving it into the shop for alignment and then backing it out. He did it very carefully and that made me feel alot safer to see him take such car in handling my car. There are alot of shops that can do alignments but not all of them handle your car carefully.
