It was the former Food came out pretty quickly after ordering. The place had people coming and going but wasn't really busy. The musubi and chicken rice bowl was packed with rice. The bowl came with a salad too. I think you get your money's worth with the bowl with the amount of chicken and sides in packed in. The kamekazi fries were ok. Not very crispy and the topping didn't add much flavor. The beef and pork belly tacos were really good. Loaded with meats and sauce, so it was hard to contain everything after one bite. Messy but delicious. The restaurant had plenty of open tables and the stone layout kept the place pretty cool.

Looked exactly like the pic on the menu, with layers of the good stuff. The rice bun slightly crispy on the outside, the kalbi meat tender and flavorful, all of the other ingredients in perfect proportions to elevate taste while holding together well. It was fast and easy to order on the self-order kiosks, no interaction with staff needed. And I got a text when it was ready, which took less than ten minutes. The place was clean, modern, and inviting. I was able to listen to live music in the plaza while dining in the restaurant's outdoor patio. Based on quality of food and overall experience, this may be the best Koja Kitchen I've been to in the bay area.

I was going to go to one place I want to come back but this sandwich restaurant has popped up. So I…read moredecided to come here since I was interested with it specially with how they design this place. It's quite small when I got here. I like the way they design this place since artworks are good here. There was one employee who seems to be taking over the restaurant, and he is patient and nice. I took my time to scroll over the menu since I'm new here and also they have plenty of options. They come in different sizes ranging from 4-8 inches. They sound smaller since skinnier sandwiches less than that size are small. I got an 8-inch Reuben sandwich and wow...I was expecting it to be smaller, but this is probably because of the bread they choose and how kinda packed the meat is. Now, I see why 8-inch is considered the largest. About the Reuben sandwich, it's really good and meaty. The crunchiness of the bread is on point since it's toasted very well. Also, the way he cut the sandwich was uneven since the first half of the sandwich is slightly larger than the second half. Don't know why but I guess it's part of the process. They have other options including soups, salads, and Mac & cheese. I'm looking forward to trying those including other sandwiches. Hopefully, I don't take too much time scrolling on the menu when I come back.

I had a very disappointing experience at West Coast Sourdough in Fremont…read more I ordered two meals totaling $52.60 (after using a coupon; the regular price would have been around $60). I also paid for extra cheese on my sandwich. After leaving the restaurant and driving to a meeting, I started eating and realized the extra cheese I paid for was missing. I called the restaurant to let them know about the mistake, expecting a simple apology or an offer to make it right. Instead, the person who identified himself as the owner argued with me, insisting that the extra cheese had been added. I politely explained that it was not on my sandwich, but he continued to debate me rather than listen to his customer. Eventually, I ended the call because the conversation was going nowhere. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What I don't understand is the lack of customer service and the unwillingness to simply acknowledge the issue and resolve it. My advice to anyone ordering here is to check your order carefully before leaving the restaurant. If something is missing, don't expect a customer-focused response if you call about it afterward.
