There was no apology for antagonizing me into a screaming match due to the excessive talking over. I would be more than happy to update my reviews if he takes accountability for his mistakes and refunds my elderly mother on the money he forced her to pay for a tow that we had not asked for. He lied to 4 about this situation. His behavior was completely unacceptable and unwarranted. I highly recommend to not do business with him unless you want to be verbally abused. Again, if there is a proper apology I will update my review. Until then he will continue to get 1 star reviews from me until he recognizes his wrong doing.

At the time of car drop-off I was told that the price was $190 + tax (which should have been only on parts, labor cost should be exempt). However, when I came to pick up my car the invoice stated the final price at $230, which included some additional fees not mentioned over the phone. Additionally, they charge 2.75% surcharge for the card service even for a debit card transaction. When I mentioned that this isn't legal in the US the guy said that he didn't care. My recommendation is to always ask for an out of the door price preferably in writing.

We were traveling in our 35' motor home from South Bend, Indiana toward the Chicago area on a Friday near the end of July 2017. The day before we noticed the transmission not upshifting properly and decided to have a Ford (it has a Ford V-10 engine) truck shop look at it. The closest shop recommended AC Transmission. We pulled into AC Transmission at approximately 10AM and talked with Tony the owner. He painted a glum picture after his men checked out the transmission and said we could possibly be back on the road the following Tuesday! We had to get my wife's brother and his wife back to Iowa where we'd met them two weeks prior, and we had to do it ASAP for them to be back home by the following Monday. After frantically arranging for a rental car, the wives began packing up all the clothes, etc., but little did they know they were being raised off the ground by the lift in the shop! In the meantime, Tony approached me and said that just maybe they could get us back on the road by the afternoon - amazing. He even loaned us his errand car to go out to get something to eat while they did the work. By 3:00PM the work was finished and we were ready to get back on the road. Oh yeah, the wives had been returned to earth after we contacted them via cell phone! But Tony and company were our saviors for the day and we are forever indebted to him and his crew. A repaired transmission in a 10 ton vehicle is no easy task. When we were leaving several of his workers came out to wish us fair voyage for the rest of our trip. What a touch. Those guys are the best. And the price was reasonable too.

Over the last four and a half years I've brought in four different cars including family members cars and all have been handled with premium care. Jeff and Jim have always been overly communicative, never do any work that they don't talk to you and get your approval first, and their team does great work. The pricing is very fair. They will even give a new car a full inspection and give you honest feedback. We had a family member buy a car from Carvana that had some issues that were covered under warranty. CD Jr dealt with the third party completely and updated us every step of the way. If you want your car worked on by honest mechanics who won't talk down to you (a complaint my wife certainly and justifiably has) and treat you with respect, go to Jeff and the gang.

So the following few days I called back to bring in my car for service. Craig reassured me that the brakes were not issue but other issues would be the issue and make the car unsafe to drive. They were kind enough to lend me a loaner car for the weekend, and to my surprise, I got a call Friday evening that my car was ready for a pick up! The whole team was super friendly, it's a family owned business and it shows.
