I had a side swipe incident that resulted in having to replace my left side mirror, I came in and worked with Francisco here at the Chicago Autohouse and truthfully felt like I was being taken care of like family!! He found the parts needed and had them delivered in two days and worked with my hectic schedule to get the repairs done in an hour! Beyond just replacing my mirror, he went the extra mile and had my scratches buffed out and sent me on my way to Starbucks with a gift card! I cannot express enough my appreciation for these guys!! Just got my car back yesterday after an accident. Happy with the repairs. The repairs took a bit longer than I was originally told but was due to difficulty getting replacement parts. Everyone is challenged right now due to supply chain issues, so understandable. Brandy was extremely helpful in keeping me informed and updated about status and was very responsive to my questions. A true repair shop that truly listens. I'm always concerned about accident repairs, because it's always a shot in the dark with approved providers, but Chicago Autohaus really did impress. They were communicative, informative, and provided high quality repairs. They even finished the job faster than the quote, and let me come take a look at the vehicle to make sure everything was to my liking. I'm an absolute freak when it comes to my car being perfect and they listened to everything I had to say and gave me a car back that honestly looks better than it did before the accident. Outstanding service and quality work at Chicago Autohaus! From my 1st call to then picking up my car when it was finished, I was greeted with professionalism each time. I had a dent in my door from being backed into. They worked quickly with the persons Insurance to have my car completed in a timely manor (less than 5 days total from drop off to completion). I also had them repaint my back bumper due to some other damage not related to the Ins claim. That repair was a fair, agreed upon price and I am completely satisfied with the work done. Let me start off by saying I will no longer be taking my car anywhere else BUT to Chicago Auothaus! I received a business card from one of their employees, Sidney, at a music festival earlier this year. He had told me about the work they (Chicago Auothus)do and types of vehicles they work on. At first I was like "yeah, everyone says that." "Anything to make the sale." But I was looking for a good shop to fix my Jeep that I kind of messed up one evening after hanging with the guys. Well after calling around for what felt like an eon getting quotes and figuring out the average of what I'm at, my buddy reminded of the card Sidney gave me a few ago. I called for a quote but couldn't get an exact number but what I was told was about 7% less than my average. You may think 7% isn't alot but would be happy with a 7% raise at work? Okay then. Well, the moment I walked into the shop they made feel like I was a friend, a buddy, part of the crew. I mean I walked in and right away I was grated if a "yo, what's up?" And a hand shake with a shoulder bump. Even before they knew what I was there for. That makes you feel like it's a cool/friendly place. As I was talking to the guy at the desk letting him know about my Jeep problem, here comes Sidney. Now, I'm not going to lie, but it was about three months since I met him and I forgot what he looked like but he didn't. Right away he came up to me and asked if I was "finally getting my Jeep fixed?" Now it's been three months, we were at a Fest and spent maybe 45 min talking, but this guy remembered me. That was extra cool points in my book. After all the chit-chat and me leaving Jeep with the shop, I felt safe with my decision. I was told it would take about 10 days to get the parts and do the work. I really mad about it 10 days was what I was thinking anyways. Well about 5 days latter I get a call, low and behold my Jeep is ready; 5 days early too and ready to cruise up Lake Shore Drive. But that's not all; it was 10% cheaper than the other shops I called not 7. I'm done with all other shops. Chicago Auothus is my spot now and I'm telling my friends. Someone hit my car and so I was given about 3 choices where to bring my car in for repair through their insurance. I happened to pick this place so that in case I couldn't get a ride to drop off the car or pick it up I could walk or bike to this place. I give this place 1 star because my time was not valued. I called the insurance and did everything they requested, no problem. So, the insurance sent Chicago Autohaus a work order to perform the work needed and I was told to call and make an appointment with this place for repair. I call and make an appointment for about two weeks ahead, no big deal. I request that day off from work because the damage to the car is not that great and I should get my car back same day. Finally drop off day comes but Chicago Autohaus didn't order the part so now I have the option of leaving the car and letting it sit there or bringing it back the next day, so they were not ready for my car. I'm told they will order the part and it will arrive the next day. So, I take off work again and drop off the car about noon. Told it will take about three hours to repair and I will have my car that same day. So I go sit in a cafe and wait for my car. Well, 3:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m roll by then it's 4:30 and I have an appointment at 6:30 so I go home and get ready for my appointment and yet no word from Chicago Autohaus. the following day I get a call around noon that my car is ready, this is now day 3 for a job that should not have taken more than 3 hours. Well I'm not about to take any more time off from work for a 3 hour repair. So now they'll have to hold on to the car till the weekend when I have some time to go pick it up. When I arrive I'm barely acknowledged and mostly ignored. I wait about 10 plus minutes while an employee finishes a phone conversation. Unacceptable Time is valuable. The time we spend waiting around or time killed doing nothing will never be given back to us. I lost two days of full time work, and could not drive to my part time job to make extra cash. read more

The ABSOLUTE worst repair job I have ever had. My 2014 Mercedes Benz E350 was hit on the passenger and had severe damage. The quality of work at this Shop is just awful and sub-par. I have many pictures to substantiate and anyone can view them if requested. The structural integrity of the car is certainly in doubt as I do NOT trust this Shop as the frame does line up with the door. My car was supposed to have been cleaned and it is filthy DO YOURSELF a favor and make sure you check your BEFORE you PAY and LEAVE their shop. Additionally my car was promised on 3 separate occasions and after speaking with the owner today I received the bogus response of "well I was pressured to deliver your car as soon as possible" - they had my car for OVER 4 weeks. I realize this shop has some wonderful reviews and I don't know what happened as Saif (the owner) is just NOT a man of his word. I wish could post or attach photos so that people could see that I am not a person that just posts terrible reviews. read more

Went in to fix some city bumps and bruises I've accumulated over the years, dings, scraped bumper, discoloration on my headlights etc. Prices were great which surprised me for such a beautiful shop. Honestly the office area is gorgeous. Staff was great, good communication, friendly. Can't really ask for more. All around great experience. Ran into dude named Saif. Pretty sure he's the owner here. While away in NYC (my girl crashed my car), and Saif arranged to have my 2010 Land Rover Range Rover Sport towed to his shop location, then he followed-up by seting an Enterprise 'premium' rental (got a 2014 Land Rover LR2 to drive around while my car is getting fixed). The following day, when I was back in town, they picked-me up from home to rent at the Enterprise location on Milwaukee Avenue, and the process was easy breezy. They're wrapping up with repairs to my vehicle now, and even offered to take care of my deductible via Allstate, which would have been ($250.00). Not bad. Once this black beauty gets some cosmetic work done, this hot ride will be priced to sell to some lucky guy/gal, with great taste...obviously. Lol. read more

The owner continues to drag and avoids us. Please don't go to this body shop as they can't even come up with a solution to make things right. The best answer we got from Sid regarding why my boyfriends paint job is chipping is because he drives too much on the highway. What body shop has ever said that? If indeed that was the case they should have disclose from the beginning "your paint will chip if you drive a lot on the highway". I came to use this body shop through State Farm's select service. I am not satisfied with the overall service of this shop. Be aware of this shop's review on yelp and google. First, the repair was not completed according to the schedule. I understand a supply chain issue was caused by COVID, but the work did not meet the promised schedule. Second, and above all, the repairs were not done properly. In the first estimation, it was scheduled for door replacement, partial frame repair, and wheel and tire replacement. However, the door was changed to be repaired because no replacement parts were available, and even this was not repaired properly, resulting in a step between the door and the fender. In addition, the wheels and tires that were to be replaced were not properly included in the first quotation, so I requested an additional quote. I don't know that the new rim had been damaged during the repair or even that it was not a new rim, so I had to request replacement again. After filing a complaint through the insurance company, we decided to replace the door completely, and install a new rim. However, the newly arrived rim was also damaged. The rim was manufactured in 2017 and was covered with spider webs. The shop said it has just arrived from the dealer, but there was so much dirt and damage that I couldn't believe that it was a new wheel, so I requested a new wheel again and am waiting for it. Third, there was damage to other parts of the vehicle during the repair. Separate from the accident, there was a scratch on the interior of the vehicle while the repair was in progress. Currently, we are still talking with the body shop about this part. Fourth, it is very difficult to talk to the person in charge. I tried to talk to the person in charge several times about the above issues, and left messages for a callback, however, I did not receive one, so I was able to solve the problem only by requesting a call through the state farm agent. Fifth, overspray damage occurred to the window and body due to improper masking. The above issues have not been fully repaired yet, so I'm still talking to the state farm. The only satisfactory part of this body shop is that the color of the paint is matched to the original color. read more
