Came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The place wasn't busy and we were seated after waiting for about 5 minutes. We ordered the medium pizza - half pesto chicken and half stockyard & a side of the pear salad. First off, the grilled pear salad was absolutely delicious. The pizza though was a bit disappointing. Way too much cheese.., it was practically all cheese on top of bread. It took awhile for the pizza even though we ordered the thin crust. I can't imaging the wait time required for the thick crust pizza. Not a fan of the pizza here. I would come back and just order the grilled pear salad. read more

Food and service was great! Went there for my husband's birthday with a few friends, the drinks stayed tended to and filled the entire time. This is my fave place for deep dish Chicago Style pizza in the area. I've been to the Roseville location and this place in Folsom is just as good. Now, I come to find out, this is really not true Chicago deep dish pizza, cause the pizza in Chicago has a more cornmeal of a crust than the pizza served here. Almost like cornbread. But, I'll tell you what, (truckers seem to always start a sentence with that), I like this crust here at Chicago Fire in California a lot better! It's say, a CA Chicago style, similar to Zachery's or Patxi's in the Bay Area, with a more chewy and sweeter crust, rather than a corn mealy crust that falls apart and doesn't have a sweetness to it. So, California style deep dish is best for me. The deep dish is all I'd come here for. You can get thin crust in a lot of other places, even ones with Indian flavorings! The deep dish will take 40-45 minutes to make and cook, so you wanna order before you get there by calling in, or just be ready to wait and have drinks or salad first, or even engage in enlightening conversation with whomever you're with, or just poke away at your phone and say nothing! The wait is worth it. The prices aren't real cheap, so don't think $25+ is too much for high end pizza, this isn't pizza for the children at Pizza Hut! Full Bar is available to help with the wait. Give Chicago Fire a try for the deep dish or stuffed pizza. Stuffed just adds a thin crust layer and more sauce on top, I love it. I don't think there's any other deep dish that is a good, unless you drive to the Bay Area. read more

i guess it's my fault for giving this old a$$ restaurant the benefit of the doubt. awful service...our server reece/reese was awful. she rushed us out after literally having just gotten our food. manager was no help when we brought this to his attention. food was subpar, sucks we didn't get the service we were hoping for because that resulted in no tip. asking if we need boxes 10 minuets after getting our food??? no checking to see how our food was or if we potentially needed anything else. wouldn't recommend and definitely won't be returning!! i never leave reviews either so that's how u know it was bad. read more

They have some of the best tasting chicken wings in Folsom; however, they false advertise that their wings weigh 1 lbs. (16 oz.) when what you actually get is under 12 oz. I discovered this after ordering their wings for takeout on two consecutive occasions - once via DoorDash delivery and the other by takeout. I weighed them because the the order looked short. The DoorDash order weighed 11.75 oz. and the take out order weighed 11.32 oz. I called to complain and was told the manager would contact me when they were back on duty. It's been nearly two weeks and still nothing. While I love their tasty wings, these guys are ripping people off!!! read more

First things first, I have NEVER walked out of a restaurant before. I was seated with my girlfriend by the host who was an unpleasant person, and it was happy hour time. The restaurant was not busy at all, and I noticed I hadn't gotten a happy hour menu, so I planned on asking for a menu. For 10 minutes, we waited and not a single server had come to the table or even acknowledged us. I made eye contact with many servers, who ended up ignoring us anyways. It got to the point where we got up, left, and walked over to Iron Horse, which I highly recommend! They have better food, prices, and service! As much as I love the food at Chicago Fire, it was not worth the frustration. Please do better Chicago Fire. read more

We were there for Happy Hour. Our server was Andrew and he did an awesome job making sure we were happy. Our beers came quickly served in frosty mugs and our meal was served promptly even though they were deep dish pizzas which can take awhile. He had a great sense of humor and laughed at our old people's jokes. The atmosphere was easy and light with different activities on different tv's. My husband was craving some Chicago style pizza and it is his birthday - we googled where we could find some and this restaurant came up. It was an amazing experience! The service was one of the best we've had - especially with our kiddos and larger group. Our waitress Hailey was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food ; the manager Chris went out of his way to welcome us and even made the experience special with an extra treat once he learned it was my husands birthday! We had Stephanie as our waitress tonight (have had her before and she's great!) and she constantly checked in on our table and has the best customer service! First off we got the chicken parm for 2-3 people, they forgot one of the chicken and just gave us fried bread, waiter was nice and discounted it, then brang us a box for the pizza, and that's where I had to get up and walk out because I open it to put my pizza in there and a cockroach runs out across my table. Ulyana M at the bar was friendly and took care of my drinks and dinner easily in which Lazy Dog next door bartender had trouble doing that in the 25 minutes I spent there. Vodka sodas were just right (well and Tito's) and the antipasto salad w/added chicken was awesome (a nice step up from Panera's lunch salad). Chicken was grilled just right to give it that nice flavor.
