I walked in this past weekend to pick up a set of brake pads from the parts counter. I was heading straight for the parts counter, but some annoying salesman decided to follow me asking annoying questions like "are you a firefighter" and thanking me for my service, while I kept walking... It felt just like walking into a sleazy car dealership. I finally said, look I'm here for parts for my bike. I don't need a new bike, now leave me alone! As for the motor clothes department, I would buy more things but the no refund policy stops me. I have been interested in some jewelry but they won't refund the item if it's not the right size. Really??? How do I know if the company that makes the rings doesn't have a sizing sampler? Oh well, just another of the many reasons not to shop here. read more

I purchased a brand new Harley from these people in 2001. They charged me over the list price. The Fatboy had limited production but they took full advantage of this. Then when the report from Harley came to me directly, I let these people have it FULL THROTTLE. They complained when they did not receive their extra customer satisfaction fee from Harley for my sale. Even told me that they were "gonna get me" for not playing their game. Got into an accident and had them repair the bike, instead they fought with the insurance company trying to upcharge the repairs, took too long to fix the bike. Mike Miller is a godsend!!! We were broke down, 350 miles from home, and trapped in a toll road oasis. Mike came and picked us and our bike up, took us back to their shop and they fixed it at the end of the day so we could be on our way!!! I just picked up my bike from winter storage and wasn't pleased. Some of the parts I ordered in January to get free storage were on back order and wasn't told about it until this week when I went in to pick up my bike. They had over two months to notify me or get the parts. If I hadn't given the bike the once over I wouldn't have noticed some of the parts I paid for weren't installed. They also forgot to put my windshield back on the bike which took about 30 minutes to find. I also had some electrical work done however when I got home I needed to remove the seat and repack the wires neatly because some of the wiring that was going to the battery was exposed and sticking out from under the seat. The Service Manager was accomidating and apologetic however promised he'd call me yesterday to give me an update regarding the backordered parts. Needless to say I've not gotten a call. If it wasn't for the extended warranty I purchased when I bought my bike I'd certainly be taking it elsewhere. read more

We bought both our bikes here, but besides taking our money , they screwed up everything from delivery and even title paperwork. We love our bikes, but have since switched to a different dealership to do all our customizing over the years. We like the bike my husband bought however a couple weeks after purchasing, a lug nut came loose and lost while riding. He drove to the Harley dealer and they wanted 68 cents for a new one. He doesn't ride with his wallet so he didn't have the money on him. They wouldn't even let him bring it back later and they refused to give it to him. "Buyer Beware"....Based on my recent experience with "Wildfire" I would discourage buying or servicing a bike with this company and here is why. 1.) after buying and riding my 2014 street glide special about one mile to my house, in less than an hour the dealer sent a truck to pick the bike up because of an oil leak that I discovered. After being assured that the bike was gone through and "ready to ride" I found that the hose clamps to the oil cooler were loose and leaking oil, the oil itself was a quart low and very black and the oil cooler was soaking wet in oil. Now any competent tech would surely be able to see this and address but was told by sales that their top mechanic checked the bike out personally. When I went to pick up the bike after I called the dealer to find out what was going on (they did not call me) while in the service bay the clutch master cylinder started leaking fluid all over the place, again the bike went in the back to be looked at. Now I am starting to think about my decision to do business with this place! After I got the bike home I found the oil cooler lines still leaking so ended up replacing a .89 cent hose clamp and fixed the problem and has not leaked since. After expressing my concerns with the general manager I was comped the "1000" service check but am certain that nothing was done judging by no witness marks on any of the main bolts that may loosen up. I feel like making a sale and bringing the bike from the back of the warehouse and out the front door was the only thing they were interested in. I will not use this company for any future service needs i.e. 5000 mile check up. I will do all fluid changes myself so I know that they are done right. I do plan to go to "HERITAGE HARLEY" in Lisle for any needed service. As the saying goes, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame me. Avoid this dealer!!! We purchased a tire from them had it installed and they improperly did so. Less than a week later the tire went flat so upon a return trip to have it replaced we were informed that we had to pay for another tire. The tire manufacturer states if the tire is ridden flat it becomes compromised and could result in a blow out, yet this dealer refused to pay for their own admitted mistake. We purchased 2 bikes from them and were in the market to buy a 3rd. We will NOT spend another 20 something thousand dollars in this dealer. read more

I was going to mail a letter to the owner mentioning my experience but after reading the reviews here I don't think it would make any difference. I live in Batavia and have visited the Fox Valley store several times without any compassion from the sales and service departments there. (They are owned by the same operation) I have been servicing and doing business with the dealer in Lisle and have been happy. I am purchasing some saddlebag speakers through Harley (The parts alone are $800) and since I work about 5 min away and its such a hassle to have someone chase you when you drop your bike off I thought it might me convenient for me to get the work done here. I popped in and headed straight back into service to try to set it up. I talked to some bored looking woman sitting behind the service desk and told her what I was looking to accomplish. She goes off and talks to someone (A tech perhaps?) and he pops out and tells me 6 hours ($600) I said "6 hours of labor to connect the rear speakers to the audio source?" Yep he told me what a huge job this was. I again told him exactly what I was looking to accomplish just because the price seemed out of line. "Yep big job 6 hours" Got in my car called Heritage, gave them the same parameters and talked to Zac. Without any haggling was told $300 for the same work. The total cost of these speakers are over $1000. That's a huge extravagance but I've wanted them since I bought the bike. I finally saved enough to get them but I want to spend my money where I feel like Im appreciated as a guest. I did not get that vibe from this store or their Fox Valley partner as well. This store is in a working class area and would be well served to look at their processes. read more

I've been ridding motorcycles for almost 40 years. This is my first experience with this particular dealer (City Limits H.D. Villa Park). During my purchase, I added on pipes and a rack. The dealer said they'd call when everything came in. Three weeks latter the phone rang. I took my bike in on a Tuesday and waited. On Thursday, I called the service department to see if they had finished, since no one was going to call me. They said it'd be ready by the afternoon. I couldn't get there until Friday, but I had full expectations of my bike being ready to go. They brought my bike out and I noticed they had forgotten to put on the rack. No problem, I said. Just go get it and put it on. Well that was a problem, in that they couldn't seem to find it. I waited around for an hour while they searched, but no luck. While I was standing around there, I spoke with a fellow biker about how his day was going. It seems he brought his bike in at 9:00 that morning with a flat. He was on the road and was stuck there until they could get it fixed. They told him their tire guy was on vacation and I guess no one there knows that much about getting a tire off a rim. Anyhow, I left there after 3:00pm and my new buddy was still there. The people, at the counter, joked that he may have to get a room at the motel across the street. I left the dealership and by the time I got home there was a message about them finding my parts. All I needed to do was bring in my bike. I'll stop by and pick up my parts, but I doubt I'll ever leave my bike there again. As I said, I've been ridding for almost 40 years. In that time of dealing with parts and service people, I've found the good ones will always treat you right and the bad ones just don't care. Some dealers only worry about what goes out the front door. While the front of this store couldn't have been any nicer, the back part seems to be an after thought. I've spent $5000.00 on a new jap bike and had the service guys treat me like a king. I spent $24000.00 on this bike and wonder if this is a sign of things to come. read more

I've only been here a couple times but every time I've come in, I'm greeted and asked if I need help finding anything. My husband has been going to this dealership for years and has never had a problem. And he has always been treated fairly and with respect something you can't find very many dealerships auto or motorcycle. The clothes are the typical Harley Davidson quality but they are always very friendly and help you find what you're looking for. You read the bad reviews on here, but they have changed management and staff and the service has gotten a lot better in the past couple years. read more

My experience here used to be positive. I used to enjoy coming to this location with my fiance for all our harley needs. But i have two major complaints that will make me not return to this location again. First off the new GM Anthony does not seem to know what his job is supposed to be. He turns to everyone else to find out what his next move is which to me says he is not a good fit for his position. Last event we were there for he had his young teenage daughter entering in all the customers that were trying to get finanaced, personal information like ss #, and whatever else is required. I spoke with his daughter when I asked if she was a new employee since she looked so young, when she told me that. Also they have these 2 teenagers working there one in motorclothes (Michelle) and one in parts (Mark) that are dating and bragging about how they are able to be getting high and working for harley. Which in my opinion is very unprofessional. It has been brought to upper managements attention with no results. People do what they will on their own time but when it is at a sponsored event at their place of employment it should not be said " how they are a badass working for harley and getting high". These are not the kind of people I would want representing my company if it was my business. read more

Bought two bikes from here and went out of their way to make it happen! Only negative thing I have to say is that I referred a friend over the past summer who purchased a bike and I was promised at referral gift card. Worst service department I have ever dealt with. Save yourself the hassle and frustration and take your business elsewhere. Had an unfortunate accident on my Harley which required some repairs so I decided to give Wildfire one last chance, as I have had minor service issues with them before. Biggest mistake I've made this year. After dropping my bike off it took them over 2 weeks to prepare an estimate, requiring several follow ups from my insurance adjuster. After taking well too long to provide a simple estimate they then wanted to charge for that estimate! They had also provided a quote with an inflated amount of labor costs for the amount damage there was. Finally after some back and forth my adjuster was able to agree upon a price for the repair work. At this point they refused to start any work until we paid up front for all parts! I have never had such an outrageous request in all my years of dealing with car or motorcycle dealerships and repair shops. Fast forward to two weeks after paying up front for parts and I haven't heard a single word from them. I call to follow up only to find out no work has been done and they claim the last part happen to come in that morning of my call. Mind you I called them 10 minutes after they opened so it's amazing that without checking the person on the phone knew the last part had arrived that morning. So I ask when my bike will be ready and am told the appointment to put my bike back together is another two weeks out and that no other tech but the one who did my estimate can put my bike back together. Needless to say I will never spend another dime with this dealership, and will encourage all my motorcycle friends to avoid them at all costs. read more

I ask him for a price and he just continued to avoid the question. Then he starts pushing us to buy the bike now. i was very insulted by the way he treated me. This placed has changed so much over the past year. i have bought there in the past and was treated with nothing but respect and my business was very much appreciated. Stopped in to pick up H-D oil & filter only to get some "Racing" quality brand pushed on me that is easily accessible while the H-D brand is all behind the counter. I didn't appreciate the sales pitch very much. I decided to take a look around and kick the tires of some pre-owned inventory to be told that I would have to be escorted around by a sales person because the bikes are scattered all over due to new construction, no thanks. Returned to the counter to pick up the oil/filter and leave, only to be left at an empty counter. The guy working it finished up his phone call and walks away, doesn't even acknowledge me. I walked out empty handed. I'll go back to Heritage where the H-D oil isn't hidden behind the counter and your encouraged to browse inventory without sales accompaniment. read more

After a year of having the exact same problem with my husbands BRAND NEW bike, the wonderful service department at Wild Fire finally took care of it. We have only owned the bike since April 2015 and have endured too many stretches with the bike in the shop for the same issue, literally from day two of having the bike home. We had been bringing the bike to another Harley service department in the area and had tons of problems dealing with them. We were ready to wash our hand of Harley Davidson for good and it wasn't until we brought the bike to Wild Fire that we received the type of service we expected of Harley. If you care about your bike DO NOT TAKE IT THERE..They are big liars...They will promise you that they will fix your bike ASAP, which they wont...They will charge you about 40% or even more than other dealers and their "technicians" have no idea what they are doing..They kept my bike for a month for a 2 hour job. I gave then 1 star because I can't give 0. Think twice and call other dealerships before you take your bike there AND DO NOT believe what they are telling you..I spoke to General manager and Service manager and they didn't help at all.. Here you have a few pictures so you can see what they did with my bike.. They didn't tight the nut..didn't connect links to the vent doors on both sides.. didn't line up all plastic covers..Really bad service and very expensive.. read more
