I've been eating Chick Fil A for about 35 years. Our church, which is also where I went to school was a couple of blocks away from the original Dwarf House in Hapeville, so we went there often. At least once a week, I eat or grab a drink, at whatever location I happen to be near, but I do have a few favorites. Honestly, the only thing that makes one different from another, is the ease in which I can get in and out of the lot. That's the best thing about this chain! Their quality and customer service is so superior compared to the rest of the fast food industry. Visit any location and they're are all very similar in every aspect. This location reminds me of the old CFA on A-Concourse by A11 at the ATL airport, where I once had my change thrown at me and on another occasion found a small roach in with my breakfast bagel. On one occasion, one of the employees said she wasn't worried about how her bad attitude represented the CFA brand, because they 'ain't Chick Fil A! We Host Marriott!'. Seriously. The new CFA in A-Con food court is now a proper one with superb customer service and quality. So, today's experience wasn't as bad as the airport's fake Chick Fil A, but it was close. First of all, it's a drive-thru only, squeezed into the tiniest area, with zero parking. I take that back. There is an area where you can walk up to order, but if you're going to attempt this, please be careful. There are vehicles coming and going from every angle. There's no rhyme or reason, so there's a lot of congestion around the entire building. So, apparently, there are 3 drive-thru windows. Two are driver's side and one passenger side. I didn't see any signage directing me to the appropriate lane, but then again I was just trying to get out of the way of the cars exiting the lot, the drive-thru customers that were exiting and the Chipotle patrons. It's insane. I had one car in front of me. My window was down though, so I could hear. There was a long silence and then the customer says 'Hello!' in a really nice tone. Then, a lady yells through the speaker 'one minute ma'am!'. She cheerfully replies 'ok'! Another long wait, then she gives her order. I pull up and wait. She comes over the speaker and says to me 'one minute please'...then, 'go ahead with your order!'...wait, don't you usually hear most CFA drive thru employees say 'Thank you for choosing CFA (insert name of area)! What would you like today?'..maybe I'm wrong? I tell her I would like a #1 combo, large, with extra pickles and to drink I'd like an unsweet tea with a little sweet added. She's clearly in a hurry, because she says 'ok, your total is ___, drive around!' Wait, I wasn't done. I barely took a breath before she cut me off. I tell her I need 4 more CFA sandwiches and she seems annoyed. 'Oh..I'll add it to your order. Drive around!' Hmm..no updated total or a 'does that complete your order?' Ugh, I feel like I'm at a Mickey D's drive thru. So I pull around and realize I'm in the lane where the drive-thru window is on the passenger side. I'm in a truck. It's not super wide, but it's not very convenient to the passenger side window. I was going to pay with cash, but I'm picturing my change blowing away, so I grab my check card. Dude at the window is extremely nice. He hands me my combo meal and tea. He says 'unsweet tea' which is what they say at Mickey D's when they don't want to be bothered by putting a splash of sweet in my unsweet tea. One of the many reasons I prefer CFA. They always get it right! I ask him whether there's any sweet added. He 'doesn't know' but if Mrs. (Drive-Thru lady's name) took my order then she probably made it, and it will be right. Ohhhh-K...He gets me my other 4 sandwiches, and I'm off! Well, kind of. I pull forward a few feet, just to get involved in a bit more traffic than there was when I came in. There's a lady that stops in front of me. She's trying to decide whether she wants to exit the lot, or go to Chipotle that's a stone's throw away. This keeps me from going anywhere and in turn, keeps the drive-thru peeps behind me, from moving. Cluster. I get on 285, and there's a ton of traffic, so I start with my tea. Yep, all unsweet. I break out my sandwich. I take the 1st bite. Really?!! The bun is black on the edges. I can easily say I've never had a CFA original sandwich that had a burned bun. Next, I've seen extra pickles done 3 different ways. They will put them on your sandwich, give you a pickle pack in a CFA sandwich bag or give you a little plastic ramekin with several pickles in it. I got a ramekin with ONE extra pickle! I actually laughed out loud when I pulled it out of the bag. This place has the CFA logo, so it's going to make mad money, no matter what, but I won't be visiting this location again. I think corporate would be very concerned with this place. I'm so sad and disappointed with this location. When I go to this restaurant I typically get one of two things, fries only or a spicy southwest salad with no peppers. I sat in line durning lunch hour ordered my salad just how I normally do. When I get to the window AFTER I ordered with no issues saying no peppers, there's an issue and I can't get my salad the way I want it. I had to ask for my money back and I left very disappointed and completely dissatisfied which had NEVER happened at Chick-fil-A EVER. I love Chick-fil-a in general, but this location is the worst (by far) that I've ever been too. Even with the very simple menu and orders, mistakes have been made almost every time I stop by. I usually go by after the gym, to get nuggets and a cool wrap, this order is too difficult for the workers to get right. Management of this store should re-evaluate their hiring process. This is easily one of the worst Chick-fil-A's that I have been to. At the drive-through window I had to call on the person to service me as I stood there waiting. This was a double drive-through so there was nobody at the second drive-through window next to me while I was there however they took so long to get to my order that the person who eventually came up to the window beside me order was taken before mine was. Eventually when the person did take my order they were not courteous at all and gave me no type of greeting, And this was the same as I pulled up to the window, my order my order was still incorrect and nobody even greeted me as Chick-fil-A normally does. I definitely would not come here again and will drive to a further Chick-fil-A to have better service before coming back to this one. read more

Some of the staff at this particular location needs to be retrained in proper customer service. I was on the drive thru on Tuesday afternoon and the young lady (with a black and reddish weave) outside taking orders was so rude to customers. The worst service I have ever seen at a Chick-fil-a is from 3/4 of the female cashiers at this location. The males have been okay, except for one guy that is always amazingly pleasant. Considering that Chick-fil-a is known for their extremely pleasant service and wonderful demeanor, it is a shame that some of these cashiers are tarnishing the name by sighing when customers ask for sauce or no pickles, talking to coworkers while their headset is still on, or asking "what can I get you" instead of the typical "hello, my name is ____, what may I get for you today?" read more

This is by far my least favorite CFA. No lobby, awkward walk up ordering, 3 drive thru lanes. One of the drive thru lanes is only open half a day, the other one serves the passenger side of your vehicle(?). The service at this location seems to be sub par compared to other locations, and the food tastes less fresh, like it was shipped over or something. I definitely prefer the locations at Windy Hill and Cumberland-Paces Ferry better. read more

It's in a busy area and hard to get to because of how it's situated. They offer a Gluten Free bun option which was horrible!!!! Do not get it. It comes individually wrapped and you have to fix your sandwich but they don't warm the bun or anything. It's hard, dry and nasty. read more

I thought it was just me but based on the reviews it's not just me. EVERY single time I visit this Chick-fil-A the experience is NEVER the typical great service expected from Chick-fil-A. I mean every single time I visit the food experience is never up to standards. Today I ordered a bowl of soup. I work less than five minutes away and when I get back to my desk the soup was cold and to top it off the three packs of crackers in my bag were all crushed up! I went last week and ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. I could tell there was some confusion going on but I looked in the bag before driving off and everything looked accurate. I get to work and the sandwich had no pickles!!! So I know I got the person's order behind me. The fries were just plain out inedible. Disgustingly cold and burnt. There's nothing like waiting in line for over 30 mins to discover four extra crispy, pinky sized chicken tenders. Seriously!!??I never get a pleasurable experience here and they always seem to let me down even when I say let me give them a fifteenth chance. I thought maybe it's the lane that I'm choosing! I usually do the third lane because it's easier and my salads would just look like crap. No matter what lane the salads are the same looking. The lettuce is usually old and they are so skimpy in comparison to other Chick-fil-A's. No more will I continue with these horrible experiences from here. Get it together!! I really want to rave on and on about this chick-fil-a but I honestly can not! The last two times I've visited this CFA I have an awful experience. A few weeks ago I visited here and left a corporate complaint and one of the managers reached out, which was fine. However, I went back again last night (2 weeks later) and the same rude staff was present. First, either your speakers do not work or your workers cannot hear. Every time I place an order I have to repeat myself, meanwhile workers are talking to other workers while assisting me. Secondly, this time I ordered a Cobb Salad and specifically said grilled, but was given fried, ordered a CFA strip meal, and a side of tortilla soup. You're never greeted at the window when you arrive, and to top it off I was given a fried salad, no salad dressing, cold soup and had to ask for tortilla chips. I don't know if it's because I come after 8PM and it seems to always be a younger staff or what, but I've never experienced a horrible CFA location like I have this one. Maybe I am going to have to start going on the other side of town to the Northside Parkway location because they surely do not know how to provide the great CFA service at this one that I'm accustomed to. read more

I never knew a chicken sandwich could be this good! Growing up in the north, I had never even been to a Chik-fil-A before moving to Atlanta 8 years ago. Oh my I was missing out! This is one of my favorite foods. A #1 or a #8 lunch with sweet tea...(unsweetened when I'm behaving). And don't even get me started on their banana pudding milkshake. So the first time I went to this Chick-fil-A I ordered a vanilla milkshake, a number one with cheese and asked for 6 packs of Polynesian sauce. When I pulled up to the window they said my order and it was correct. Then, they gave me a Oreo milkshake after they just said my order correctly, so I ask them for a vanilla milkshake with no cherry and no whip cream and they give me a vanilla milkshake with no toppings. After that, they gave me the rest of the order. When I drove to my apartment and I went inside I checked my food and they only gave me 2 packs of Polynesian sauce not 6 but 2 then I checked my Chick-fil-A sandwich and there was no cheese on the sandwich like I wanted to have. This is one the smaller, no seating type Chik-Fil-As, there's a few tables outside but it's primarily used for walk up and drive up customers. They also do the catering from this location more than the bigger stores, which is handy since they're right close to 285 and 75 so just a call ahead is all you need to pick up a platter for a party or event. The only drawback is it sits in front of the Akers Mill shopping center, squeezed between several other restaurants, so it's busy and hard to find parking most any time you go. read more

This Chick-fil-A has to be one of the worst locations I've been to. I usually don't make complaints on fast food restaurants b/c I usually take it for what it is. For one the service is NOT fast at all. I've come here several times and either my sandwich or fries were luke warm at best! This last incident did it for me. I ordered a chicken sandwich and fries, simple right? Get home and low and behold there's no chicken sandwich. I call back to the location the guy on the phone says he'll put my name on the "manger's desk"and I can come up there later on to get a free sandwich(yes the likelihood of him passing along the message was slim to none). I go up there literally the next day and the manager's response was "I don't know about that, I didn't work last night." I get you didn't work last night, but is that my problem? This location on Cobb Pkwy.(30339) with drive through only and walk up windows is the worst Chick Fil A in Atlanta and I have lived in Atlanta for 20 years and travel for business throughout the city on a regular basis and have visited many Chick Fil A's throughout the metro Atlanta area. The employees are all rude and are not properly trained to Chick Fil A standards and they are very slow. Also my order is frequently wrong and if you ask for extra pickles they literally argue with you and will charge you for extra pickles. No other location does that. They will not give out any napkins or condiments unless you ask. This location is tight on space and are unable to move the cars quickly and effectively through their drive through. They should take a lesson from the Windy Hill Rd. location which I often visit on my lunch hour, as they have it down to a science and move cars quickly and effectively through their drive through even during this crazy COVID crisis time. read more

We ordered a "number 6 with an orange juice and also a small fruit cup" so when we got our order and noticed that they substituted the hash browns for a large fruit cup we were very confused and then disappointed. Not only did we say "and" versus "with or instead of" for the fruit cup but then they didn't even offer to make it right they just kept saying would we like to add something else which is ridiculous saying as in they are the ones who messed it up. Also, the meal was almost $10 which is INSANE. The number 6 was $6.19 plus $1.96 for the large fruit cup (that we didn't ask for, we wanted a small) and then $0.76 for the orange juice. That is outrageous the way the order was rang up and came out to such a large total. On top of getting our order wrong, the girl who took payment was not very friendly at all and was talking fast like she was trying to rush us out of line. I absolutely love chick fil a but one of my favorite reasons for going is because of how friendly people are. Well this Chick-fil-A made a mistake and then wanted to treat me like an inconvenience for holding up their line. I asked at the speaker of I could do a substitution and explained exactly what I wanted twice. She could have said no you cant do that and I would have pushed on and got it or not. But I get to the window and explain I asked and she said that was fine.Then they told me I couldn't do that. So I said fine give me the FF. The girl at the window was passive aggressive rude!!! The manager was rude! All acting as though it was my fault when I asked when I ordered and explained that. Chick fil a, I love that you are quick but being nice and getting orders right comes first! Treating people like they are an inconvenience is not okay. Oh and they forgot my sauce and ketchup but I am too embarrassed and afraid of how I will be treated if I go back and correct their mistake. Manager said, I don't have time for this. This location is horrible. The lemonade is always spoiled. The fruit on the Market salad is not fresh. I had to leave work and return a salad due to the strawberries being spoiled. Yuck!! This is the closest chic fil a to my job and convenient, unfortunately I've had quite a few bad experiences. Ppl are nice but i get cold fries, when I order grilled chicken salad and replace with fried chicken strips, this is the only location that put the SMALLEST strips on the salad and sometimes even old /cold. best chik-fil-a drive through and service. this is predominately a drive through location serving the Cumberland/Galleria area. Three drive through lanes are open during busy morning times. customer service is quick, efficient and friendly. small outdoor seating area with a roof is available. walk up service is alao an option. hard to get into and out of this location at times due to traffic and parking lot congestion from the nearby shops. read more
