We just arrived from New York yesterday, and like always, my family was excited to stop at Chick-fil-A. We drove 30 minutes, only to be told they were out of Diet Coke. Disappointing, but we let it go. Today, after running errands, I made another 30-minute trip for lunch and -- again -- no Diet Coke. It's honestly hard to understand how that happens two days in a row at a Chick-fil-A. On top of that, the location had a strong unpleasant odor due to construction, they were out of salt, and the staff seemed frustrated that I was disappointed. Being told it's "spring break" doesn't feel like a valid excuse -- busy seasons should be planned for. This is now the second year in a row I've had a disappointing experience at this Hilton Head location. I expect better from a brand known for its service and consistency. I truly hope this location takes a closer look at both customer service and overall quality. read more

Ordered some chicken mini platters, fruit and hash browns for breakfast when we visited yesterday. I was unable to get the app to let me place the order, but was successful doing it by phone. Food was ready when I picked it up and hot and delicious. The fruit was fresh and plentiful. Of course, I never met a potato in any form I didn't like, so those were a hit as well. No pics because my father in law thinks I'm a nut for doing so. I'm just trying to get along! lol I don't know why this Chic Fil A gets these negative reviews. STAY AWAY! Several times in the past 6 months all our food has been severely undercooked or overly coated in grease. It does not matter what day or time you go, you get the same problems and plenty of attitude on the side when you ask them to make it right. The drive through is a hot mess and cars cant follow directions. Main door locks super early so be careful if you place a pickup order... again stay away. Ambiance is downhill. I go to chick fila 4-5 times per week. This is the slowest one I have ever been to. I made a mobile order and it was not even busy on a Tuesday morning and it took 31 minutes to get through the drive thru. I usually go to chick fila for the efficiency. This one is horrible. read more

Had a good experience at this location. It was insanely busy as it was a Saturday and everybody was out and about getting their 'retail on' and what not. I'm not sure why anybody would wait 10 to 15 minutes in a line that completely encircled the restaurant. We took up one of the few remaining parking spots and darted in to order at the counter and eat in. Only one person in front of us. Really great and tasty food (fries were a good degree of crispiness vs. Orlando where the fries are soft) as well as a clean restaurant. read more

Placed three 1 item mobile orders as there were multiple people in the car, each placing their separate mobile order for drive through pickup. After waiting in drive through line for pickup, the associate would only give me 2 of the orders saying it was their store's "policy" to only give 2 orders per car in drive through which meant I had to find parking and go inside the restaurant for the 3rd order. Employees were not helpful and clearly saw us as an inconvenience. Would definitely not recommend this location. read more

I normally have great experiences at Chick-fil-A, but this South Carolina location was a letdown. The cashiers were kind and greeted us with a smile, but the rest of the staff seemed more focused on chatting in a group than getting orders out. Small weight time, not stressed staff, clean, and enjoyable. This location is far from any of the mentioned characteristics/ experiences. 45 mins to wait on two meals. This place seems to be run entirely be teenagers, and nobody seems to care. Every time I have ordered a chicken sandwich it is soggy and inedible. I really wanted the waffle fries and chocolate shake, so was willing to wait. But maybe you don't have that much time, in which case you should get your Chick-fix somewhere that has figured out how to operate a store properly and can get you in and out in under 15 minutes during the lunch rush. read more

This was the best Chick-Fil-a food experience I've ever had. Dining room was closed which always annoys me, but whatever. I came here for lunch right at 10:30 because I've discovered that is when most restaurants are at their best. This place did not disappoint. One of the biggest complaints I have about Chick-Fil-a is the temperature and saltiness of their fries. The fries at this location, at this time of day, were perfect. I usually eat them with BBQ sauce, but not today because they were so freaking good. The spicy chicken sandwich was on point. Perfect temperature. No soggy breading that slides off the bun. Oh man. I like Chick-Fil-A a lot but don't get a chance to go often since I don't live near one. I usually get the nugget meal which includes nuggets, french fries and a drink. I enjoy all of their milkshakes and recently found out about the lemonade milkshake. Very nice. Always great customer service and a clean environment. Improve everything! First your staff absolutely hates being at work there's not one smile in the place.. Staff was huddled in the drive thru area while there was a line at the counter! My large drink with no ice was half filled because she didn't care luckily I was inside to be able to refill it.. One of the workers said that the inside of the store was closed due to being understaffed when I saw staff members standing around doing nothing as well as customers eating inside already. After driving through the drive through we saw two people be let in. We then asked the drive through lady about it and she told us to move ahead in the line. This is the most slow and awful Chick-fil-A I have ever been too. There is quite life no one working here and I had to wait 40 minutes in line just to get my food. There is only one drive thru line, no one outside to take your order, and it's overall just really slow. Absolute BEST fast food restaurant around. I bring my daughter here every few weeks for a treat and the staff is amazing. They are the most caring crew. This place is always so clean. The crew always makes you feel like they care about your experience here. The play place doesn't make me cringe as if there might be a new disease forming amongst the slides and stairs. I wish more places served their customers the way this place does!! Of course the food is good but everyone already knows the quality and care they put into their food so I won't go on and on. Chick-Fil-A is the best fast food joint I have EVER been to minus In and Out Burger in Cali, but we are comparing 2 different meat sources. I had not gone for breakfast, until recently, it was good (biscuits were excellent) but I still don't associate Chick-Fil-A with breakfast. The fries are the best, wafer/waffle cut, I now use mayo to top them, don't knock it till you try it. The basic chicken sandwich is super tasty. I did try the wraps and thought they were average.
