I just tried to go thru the drive thru, as I do at least once a week and of course it was a disaster. This location changes the egress and regress every other day so it's a brand new maze to confuse everyone. This time I'm driving down Folly Rd and I noticed they finally opened up the entrance off that road right as I'm passing it. So, I pull in and there is only 2-3 cars in the drive thru and 20 new cones in front of the restaurant. Since the line of cars wasn't long enough to make these cones relevant, I just pulled in at the back of the line. Then a guy comes running down the side walk yelling "go around, go around, you have to go around the restaurant first." Of course by this time there were 10 more cars pulling in and if I did that then I would be behind all of them even though I entered the lot first. I understand the point of the cones when needed but to act like everyone knows your suppose to circle the building first is insane. Pick a format and then stick to it. Also, I called the customer service to complain and they hung up on me, then I tried to contact them on their website but the locations never pop up. Their "great" service is a myth, and this isn't the first time I've complained. The other time I received someone else's order because their people were jumping from car to car taking as many orders as possible and screwing them all up. I was able to leave feedback on their website that time but I NEVER heard anything about it. Any other restaurant would of given my money back at the very least since I paid 30$ for something I couldn't eat. read more

One of the best fast food options around. The to-go line is always quick and easy. The food is always hot. Waffle fries are to die for, and the staff is always very friendly. They'll even give you a dog treat if you swing by with your four-legged friend! read more

Showed up to this location wanting one thing and one thing only: peppermint milkshake. Pull up to the drive thru and the very nice young man says, "much apologizes but we're all out of peppermint syrup for the milkshake..but I tell ya what, we can crush up some peppermint candies and put them into the shake of your choice". This was not a great experience. We went through the drive through and a kid was taking our order but hardly paying attention to us while doing it. It came as no surprise that absolutely nothing in our order was correct. And we couldn't get back in line after realizing our order was wrong because of the long wait. 11:37am I ordered (2) 12 ct classic nugget meals. I received nuggets not cooked. Since this was a drive thru order I noticed once I got home and my 2 yr old was eating them. I called and asked how to get my money back. I was told to come back and bring them. Also, saying the nuggets were not COOKED. After waiting and trying to get someones attention, I had to give my story twice as I am holding these nuggets in a napkin!!!! Give me a REFUND!! Total order was $18.18,,,first refund is for $11.66,,,when I stated NO I want a full refund because you can afford to lose a fry for my child to have food!! The manager looked at the lady and put my receipt down by a register and said GIVE her $6. WOW!!! You still owe me $.52 This location has a different method of counting I must assume. I have called the 1-800 care line. It was so nice to have a conversation with someone over this. The drive thru had a nice guy who took my order, a woman took my payment and went I got up to the window another guy was running food ready to cars behind me....not once but 3 times. I've never used the speaker, Ive never paid at the window and I almost always have a panic attack driving up to the drive thru with a worker running from the window to cars!! Now it is 1:00pm. I just had the strangest, but coolest experience at this Chick-fil-A. I pulled into the parking lot during the lunch rush, so naturally, the line was long. I couldn't get in line from where I pulled into the parking lot, so I drove all the way around the building to line up behind the last car. The car behind me did the same. When I got back to the other side, the line had progressed a little. There was a silver Infiniti pulling into the lot where I had just pulled in, but it was clear that the driver was not about to pull around like the rest of us. Ms. Infiniti pulled in inches from my car to get between me and the car in front of me. I honked and raised my hands like "what are you doing??" Ms. Infiniti rolled down her tinted windows to yell and scream and curse at me, calling me all kinds of names, asking what the f*** was wrong with me?!?, before proceeding to move in front of me and the cars behind me. I sat in my car stewing as I ordered, and pulled around to pay, trying to take down the number for the business she was advertising on a magnet on the side of her car (really?!). As I paid, one of the Chick-fil-A parking attendants came to my car with my order, and said "we'll tell that woman she is not welcome to yell at people in our parking lot." I felt so vindicated. I thanked him and took my food, leaving the the line before 4-5 cars in front of me had even gotten to the window, pulling past Ms. Infiniti on the way, resisting my childish urge to stick out my tongue at her. I appreciate that the parking attendant went above and beyond to make sure that I had a good experience, and that they don't tolerate expletives being shouted in their parking lot. It would have been easy for me to say I just wouldn't go back there during a lunch rush, because the parking lot gets too crazy. Since I see that they are really trying to speed up the process, and value taking care of their customers, I have no reservations about coming here again. read more

I'm trying to figure out why this location only has one person working the register in the morning when there are 4 registers available, and approx 8 employees behind the counter. Also, if you are trying to get a drink refill get ready to wait, they leave the poor guy on the register to do that as well. I blame the lack of using the employees effectively on poor management. I am so disappointed with this chick fil a was in Charleston for work stopped to grab something to eat. The spicy grill chicken sandwich i sat in drive thru at the window for about 5 to 8 minutes and my sandwich was cold. Called spoke with Ethan he told me to bring it back. How hard is it to forget parts of someones order as you give it to them at drive through? Yeah, it happens. But the stars aren't for that or even the quality of food. It's for me having to drive back, wait as 7 people working there just either looked at me or walked on past me without even asking, "may I help you with something?" Do you know a person came up as I was waiting, holding a cup, and was assisted? W the flying F? Am I invisible? You'd expect a manager to be up in your grill or at least tell an employee to assist. I live on James Island and consistently this Chick Fil A has been incapable of getting the order I placed correct. Items are always missing or not prepared correctly. The staff is young and seems to not have a clear leader in the drive through line. It will take a while so don't go if you are in a rush. If you have the time or options go to a different location. Chick Fil A is generally the best fast food option and the service is usually incredible. That is not the case at this location. read more

I don't know what it is about this chickfilla but I always have poor service. The staff, seem complacent. Multiple times I've gone up to get a drink refilled only to watch as a member of their staff quickly avoids me or makes very quick eye contact and continues on doing whatever they were doing or run into the kitchen. I understand that it's mostly teenagers working here, but they need to be a little more selective about thr people they hire. This location is always very slow. read more

The establishment is extremely unreliable when it comes to ordering and serving breakfast. We tried to order online through an app and the store never even received the order. Then they tell us we can't order what we ordered because it past 10:30, when we ordered it way earlier then the cut off time. OMG, the owner has done so much for our sailing team that I am very loyal to this location. My entire team feels the same way. All kids seem to love Chick Fil A and our team definitely feels the same and goes to this location all the time. Some go daily. I go often. This evening we went as a team and was very impressed by the service. We have a group of 15+ kids and a few adults and everyone had a great time. Their party platters work great for groups. Unlike any other "fast food" chain I find that Chick Fil A has the best employees. They are nothing but helpful and have great attitudes. Will be back and my team goes all the time. Customer service is never an issue at Chick Fil A, and it is evident in the experience I just had. During a typical busy lunch rush, a very nice girl made an accidental mistake and, instead of spending the time to fix it and hold up the line, gave my meal to me for free. While I never expect this nor do I believe anyone should, it shows how well trained their employees are at providing an efficient pull system coupled with excellent customer service. As is the trend, the drive-through is always busy, even at 9:30am when the rush hour traffic has gone through. Instead, I walked in and was only the 2nd person in the building. Everytime I order something it's always the chicken wrap with fresh Romaine lettuce, cheese and a side of avocado lime ranch dressing that gives it just the right flavor it needs with the wrap. I don't normally eat this type of food but when I do I always order the same thing and usually have the raspberry tea and even tried there new delicious peach milkshake, but this time I tried the watermelon tea for the first time and that was good. I wont be returning for a while. Two bad visits in one month. First bad experience was around a 9 PM time frame. Ordered a number 1, waited forever in the drive through even though there were only 4 cars in front of me. Finally, I get my food. When I unwrapped my food at the dinner table I noticed an insane amount breading and it was dark. Biting into it, there was absolutely no flavor and loaded with grease. I'm guessing this filet was fried twice. Trash can. Today, at 10:38:45 a.m. I ordered another #1 combo. I waited for nearly 12 minutes to receive my food. The person in front of me waited almost 14 minutes for his food. I was watching the timer on the screen (By the way, nice touch by changing the timer from red to blue when it reaches 4 minutes so that it doesn't draw attention to the customers).The lady already had a sandwich under the heat lamp, she asked about fries around the 7 minute mark, the fry guy told her they just seconds from being done. He loads up the fries under the heat lamp immediately as they come out and I still waited. I have not opened the bag yet to tell you about the contents but i'm already feeling doubtful. So every other Chick Fil A in Charleston has zero problem giving me a Grilled Cool Wrap with fried spicy chicken instead of the regular grilled chicken. The one in Summerville will even put all the ingredients from the Spicy Southwest Salad into a wrap if you ask them. This one for whatever reason has refused on 2 separate occasions to put fried spicy chicken on a wrap when requested, offering no explanation as to why other than "we don't do that at this one" and "we're not allowed to at this one." Guess I'll go to the one on Savannah Highway next time and see if they'll facilitate my desire for spicy chicken deliciousness. read more
