One of the best Chick-fil-A's I've been in! You can tell this owner/ manager team really values their employees and customers. Always polite, always punctual, always fresh and hot food! It is obvious the play place is cleaned routinely as well as the restrooms! In a comparison to other Chick-fil-A's I've been to, this Chick-fil-A is far above the rest, I'd write their corporate offices a letter if I knew how to contact them! Three plus years down the road and we decide to make another late stop here while on the way to OBX. It's post 8pm and the dining room still has a fairly good crowd for a Thursday night. Three impressions when entering the property and the store: 1. When even semi-busy the parking lot is undersized and bizarre to get in/out of with all of the diagonal spaces. While you can park next door in the beginning of the Target lot, should you really have to? 2. The first two booths as soon as you walk in are taken up by staff either eating, talking, congregating or doing some kind of folding project with two big boxes on the table & floor. 3. The men's room is dirty. Water all over the sink area and the garbage container is over filled. I've been to many, many CFA locations and I've never seen that before. The ordering process is typical CFA efficient except it was a little too efficient here as when the food was dropped off we were only given 1 of the 4 orders of fries and one of the sandwiches was incorrect. I had to go back up to the counter with my receipt and explain things. This was corrected in a few minutes as there was a wait for fries (likely why we only got 1 out of the 4). Of the 20+ CFA locations I've been to this one is easily the worst. While the quality of the food is still very good and it is still far better than an experience at say McD's, it very much falls below what other CFA locations regularly handle with ease in terms of bathroom cleanliness and order accuracy. 3 stars, barely. read more

I want to start off by saying I fight for our country and coming to store 600 in Chesapeake Virginia has been the worst experience ever the young server completely messed up my order and when told it was wrong turned back and walked away I had to go to the front counter to tell the manager John how I was treated and that my drink was was missing he did not ask what happened he just allowed his worker to give me the rest of my order they messed up with no apology or acknowledgement that they messed up so I asked for a refund which he did not try t see what the issue was he just basically didn't want my money I do not know if it was a race thing or simply he was just tired and did not care anything about this customer but by far the nastiest service I have every received and I have always been a fan of customer service from Chic Filet but this is not the south so maybe my expectations were to high read more

This store has seen almost exclusive dine-in by me and overall has been a very good performer. I will average over a half dozen visits due to the last experience being weaker. Located off Highway 168 in Chesapeake off Hillcrest Parkway. Road visibility is not there, but a road sign will alert you heading SB, not sure about NB. The Hillcrest exit is the last before the Chesapeake Expressway Toll Road. Parking when busy is a challenge in their lot, but do not fear as you will find plenty of overflow in the Target lot. Most times I've found the surrounding area and walk ups clear of debris. They offer a single drive-thru which gets easily clogged by rush and tourist head to and from OBX. Also once you commit to drive-thru your committed! There is no way to exit. The store features a military theme with all branches represented by flags, a chalk board and table remembering our vets. In an area that's rich with military this is great. A trip to the men's room prior to ordering. The ly are located behind the ordering counter. The facility had a few issues, most importantly the urinal was broken and as a result smelly. The automatic paper towel holder also had challenges. With a Fonzi fist pump the paper finally began to dispense. The room was clean. Service has been typical Chick Fil A friendly with "my pleasure" tag line said instead of you're welcome. Yesterday's visit was solid by the young lady. Checkout was efficient with the app which I recommend for ease and free treats. The family order was brought out to the table at a reasonable 5 minutes give, or take. The order was correct and food hot. We grabbed napkins, straws and ketchup from the self serve condiment area. I noticed both cans were full! However, the area including dining room clean. They do offer an indoor play area. I typically order the #1 meal that's a consistently winner. I decided to mix it up and got the grilled chicken bacon club with fries and strawberry shake. Loved the sandwich and would definitely get it again. Their shakes are always yum and mine was delicious. With frequent trips to OBX I know this location will be visited again. 3.5, rounding up. read more

Man Chick-Fil-A really is the gold standard of fast food. They are always expedient, to date have never messed up my order and the employees sound like they enjoy their job as they are almost always super friendly. This one was no different, their was quite a large line but in a fashion true to their nature I was still in and out quicker than I would have been behind one customer at a competitor. Kelly was super nice and the whole process was quick. Highly recommend this place over any competitor in the area. We've been coming to this location for about 5 years. For the first 4 years, I never worried about checking my order, it was always correct, complete, and had all the condiments, utensils etc needed for whatever we ordered. It was a refreshing change from all the other drive throughs. But, for the last year, at least the last 10 visits, something is missing. Straws, a fork for salad or fruit, a spoon for the soup, ketchup we requested, napkins, dressing or toppings for the salad. One or more of these of these have been missing over the last visits, and on one occasion even a food item (nuggets) was missing. This usually occurs in the drive through when I don't have time to park, go in and get it fixed, or wait in line again, or I have kids or animals with me that make it hard to unload and go in so we've just made do without. But it has also occurred the last few visits inside which we do wait and get the missing items. I tried to give input on the customer support button on the website rather than here, but it kept having errors on the page so I'm posting here. This is an easy fix to have someone thoroughly check everything. In the meantime, until I regain confidence that I can drive off without something missing, expect me to be holding up the line while I search the bags for every single spoon and fork, straw, salad topping etc. read more

Definitely the most snooty and judgmental chick-fil-a employees I've ever seen. In the matter of our visit we saw a little kid get sick in the play area, employees scoffed and stared as they had to clean it up. Soon after a drink was spilt on the counter and yet again, scoffing and unnecessary facial expressions from the employees. Is it really so hard to give me ONE EXTRA SALAD DRESSING?!! He couldn't distinguish roasted red peppers from salad dressing. Ever since they reopened the service has not been chock-fil-A standards. We have received burnt fries, tortilla strips missing twice, and just this morning I asked for just a biscuit with my bowl and instead I got a chicken biscuit. Also the salads have not been great, to much lettuce and hardly no egg, it was just thrown together. I've been to this location many times, usually to dine in. Today was the first time I used the app to order ahead and I chose curbside pickup since I had my baby with me and I figured it was a convenient option in case he fell asleep in the car. In the app it lets you order your sauces but my bag is missing some and I have an extra of another. I'm not sure if that's an issue with the app or the employee that bagged the order. I'm kinda wishing I'd just gone through the drive thru since there was no line. I would've gotten all my sauces if I had. That and I would've gotten my food in the same amount of time. Whenever I am running errands all day with the kids, they love to come here for their chicken and milkshakes. Never had a problem. Everything is always fresh and the people are always, always polite. And I have watched them make the shakes...fantastic! The one thing I would change are the cups they put the milkshakes in. The lids do not stay on them as securely when they go in the drink holder. I lost count how many times the lid has popped off and the milkshake runs down the side into my cup holder when I pick it up. It becomes a sticky mess. This is the first Chick-Fil-A I have been to and the only one I have continued to go to, so I do not know if it is national chain preference for these cups are exclusive to this site. This locations j used to be so good. They were on point with everything. Lately they always forget something. If I order to go please give me napkins. Every time I order a salad they forget one component for example the southwest salad comes with creamy salsa dressing, little packets of seasoned nuts and tortilla strips. They ALWAYS forget one of the little bags of crunchy goods. This is a $9 salad can you please stop forgetting the ingredients I paid for.
