They do their best to get you in and out as fast as possible but it can still take 15-20 minutes to order and get your food. It's bearable but feels long for a fast food place. It's a pretty standard Chick-fil-A, juicy chicken, great taste, not much else to be said about it. Spicy chicken Deluxe meal is always solid. Went here for lunch and as expected there were a lot of people inside. Everyone was busy but the staff was still friendly and accommodating in the counter. I got myself their chicken sandwich, waffle fries and a diet coke which is what I literally order each time I go in here. Food was served in a quick. I will start here, I ate here a few years ago and I did have a great experience. I never had a chance to leave a review because I hadn't discovered Yelp yet. I returned here during the week of Christmas after a few last minute shopping to wrap up. The location is very clean, all the tables were wiped down as customers left. What could I say about the staff, friendly, courteous and hard working. There was a bit of a line, but it moved quickly the cashiers handled the line with ease. The entire staff are very professional. The team member that I had my interaction with Mr. Flowers is a rockstar, I had to substitute a soft drink for coffee and he went to check and he said yes but he had to make and he would bring it to the table. The food was freshly made, was hot and delicious. I do love their waffle fries, the spicy chicken sandwich is one of the best I ever had. Definitely 5 stars plus. I am visiting Chicago and stopped at this location on State Street ( #03212). It was 20 mins from where I was and to my surprise I had a very rude manager over a large cup of Ice Dream. I ordered a large cup and I shook it because it fell very light and to my surprised it was less than a half a cup. I gave it back to the manager and ask him for a large that I would like for it to be large. He said it was large I said no it's only in a large cup. He said they only feel around the cup and I know that not to be true because I visited several locations and they've always filled it up. it's like putting a small fry in a large container and then calling it large. he went to put more in but it still wasn't a large cup I said to him. He replied brusly this how we do it. I mention to him if I should get a refund he told me I could do what I want to do. So I got a refund for the ice dream only and in my face he Hollands to the crowd who wants a free ice cream. I think the world of Chick-fil-A. Unfortunately it seems that I have to travel the world to see a Chick-fil-A. Owing to the misconstrued stereotype that Las Vegas is that city of sin , Chick-fil-A avoids it. Boo hoo ! Now on Chicago soil, I was going to catch Chick-fil-A 's stellar performance. Not once but twice. And so were several other people. The directors behind this stellar performance are sharp management. Chick-fil-A is a case study in competent fast food management. For example, as soon as my feet made there way inside the restaurant from State Street, they stopped for the line reaching from the door across to the counter. Thanks to the competent management, we were soon at the counter ordering. I ordered my Chick-fil-A favorites: chicken nuggets with fries and a large Coke. These aren't your ordinary fries. They are delicious waffle fries. If Chick-fil-A and McDonald's were competing in a theatre contest, in my opinion based on past experiences between the two, McDonald's would exit stage left. The Chick-fil-A fries and nuggets were way better. I saw zilch about Chick-fil-A charging for such and such number of nugget sauces where many franchises charge for the third. And comparing this Chick-fil-A with the State Street McDonald's by the Chicago Library, Chick-fil-A shows an insubstantial greater appreciation for the customer. Throughout my Chick-fil-A dining experiences the employees were friendly. Sometimes last impressions really matter. My last impression of Chick-fil-A was a positive one. My family and I finished our food without any crumbs left over (delicious) and are shooting the breeze. Instead of the employee rushing us he asked if he could refill our Coke cups. This really impressed me. Now my last impression of that McDonald's is "Number 240 your order is ready (minus a" thank you for visiting" or "have a nice day"). When it comes to the hyper competitive stage of fast food dining, Chick-fil-A continues to put on a stellar performance. I keep looking forward to visiting a Chick-fil-A. This was the most impressive Chick Fil A I've ever been to! It ran like a well oiled chicken machine!! I know, I know. Who goes to Chicago and eats chick-fil-a on a Saturday night? I do. The location was downtown right by the loop and the Chicago theater. There was an event going on at the theater so the place was packed. Almost every table was full. I waited in line for a couple of minutes. The cashiers were friendly like what you usually expect from a chick-fil-a. I was thinking in a big city like Chicago that friendliness would be lost. Nope, not here. The food was fresh and amazing, as usual. We found a table where people had just left, and there was already an employee washing the table for the next guest. Impressive. There was not one, but two employees handling the cleaning of the dining area. Even more shocking was despite the massive crowds the garbage cans were not overflowing. You often see overflowing garbage cans at a busy fast food place. Their employees were on top of their game. Remember to check in when you visit this place. They will give you a fresh chocolate chip cookie. Yum yum. And this location serves cheese sauce. Order it, it's great. Lastly, the bottom of your receipt has a combination code to use the bathroom. The bun was good too, though I can't remember how it tasted.. The service was blazingly fast, I think it can even beat some busy local McDonalds, which is also a plus. Funny thing, they ask what kind of sauce you want at the register and give it to you right there. Like it is something special. Or so you can suck on your sauce while waiting for your order to come up? Once I popped in on a weekend in the evening and.. it was so much slower than in the lunch time, even though there weren't as many people. Their prices are a little on the high end in my opinion but when I got there I decided I would have the grilled chicken club sandwich combo and when I first saw the price posted at the front of the store it was $8.55 and when I got to the counter it was $9.35. The cashier was nice she asked did I want to see the manager and I said yes. The joke was on me because all the manager did was shrug her shoulders and say that the lower price on the board was wrong. When I asked her was she going to sell me the combo for the price stated she just shook her head no and then apologized before she took the board from the front of the store. If she had honored the price that I saw she would have had a loyal customer but what she did lets me know she could careless about customer service. The food was okay I mean it taste like a grilled chicken sandwich I could cook at home but mine would have been better. The cheese on my sandwich wasn't melted and the sandwich was dry, the one saving grace of this meal for me was the honey mustard sauce that I added to the sandwich which gave it a little more flavor. There was a young lady who smiled the entire time we were there, she got people refills on there drinks, asked so nicely if you needed something, she was the silver lining and the reason why I gave Chick-fil-A 3 stars and not 1. This Chick-fil-A is ridiculously fast in service. You pay and your food is there so fast you have no idea what just happened. I usually get the Spicy Chicken Sandwich Deluxe. I'm glad that it comes with pepper jack cheese. I think the sandwich has been consistently good from the times I've gotten it here. The waffle fries are the best part of any Chick-fil-A meal. Of all fast food restaurants, I believe this location is one of the best; it's fast and worker works together. Lines move really fast and the wait isn't terrible. However, the downside to today's visit was that they forgot to include my niece's drink in her kids meal. Although they forgot, we informed the workers and we got the drink without a problem. I honestly think the workers are super nice and sweet. A worker who was cleaning the tables noticed my family and I had a good amount of trash, they came by with a bag and helped throw away out trash. I was so shocked.
